Thanks @Dirk Ronsmans for the support Hi @den I'm Francis product manager for Exalate - and I believe we have been talking in the past. I can understand your reaction. Exalate indeed evolved quite a bit, and the problems encountered at the time have been addressed. Can you reach out to us (here), and we'll make sure that…

Hi @Simon Rigler I'm Francis - product manager for Exalate, also an issue synchronisation solution. I can understand that you will not switch to our product, but I leave the note here for the occasional reader who is looking for a similar solution. In the case of Exalate, you can automate the pairing with an existing issue…

What is the logic behind it. You can always look up the right assignee using the nodeHelper.getUserByEmail method (or similar), and set the assignee accordingly btw - Checkout the exalate community there are many similar cases being discussed.

Nice one @Koen Gillard
-
Hi @M Amine You're more than welcome. If you would like to see it in action ...

You can also consider an approach where every supplier is using their own jira with their own configuration. Using an issue sync tool, you can ensure that all the task related information is centralized on yours, such that you keep an overall overview of whats going on. some issue sync apps are available on the marketplace…

thanks @Aron Gombas _Midori_ for mentioning Exalate. (I'm with the team that builds Exalate) The mergeWorklog function is documented (here)

Regarding plan B, the similar solution is Exalate. Check following community post which details out the approach https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Advanced-Roadmaps-questions/Can-Portfolio-for-Jira-be-used-across-different-Jira-instances/qaq-p/1029485 (I’m with the team building this app)

Hi Tansu, That is 100% correct. We had to rewrite the add-on to be servicedesk compatible. There is a migration app available here We'll convert any active table grid editor license to a table grid next generation at no cost (until April 2021)
-
Thanks for trying it out. You will also find all the other Atlassian tools in our repository. All feedback welcome.

* The issue is included with an automation. * The position is determined with a grouping automation on status * Whenever the status changes (of the issue), the issue remains in the same location. * Removing the issue from the structure is not possible I can understand that you are working on a feature but no ETA (we have…

The parent attribute doesn't seem to exist. I have been browsing through all the different - but nothing seems to reflect the name of the parent memo.
-
Hi @Egor Tasa [ALM Works] How would you use an effector to update a custom field with the name of the parent 'memo' Once configured - do you need to run the effector again manually whenever an issue moves from one parent memo to another parent memo If effectors are not the way - do you have an example scriptrunner script…
-
Hi @Patricia Francezi_iDev_ - this question relates to the Structure app from ALM Works

Exalate is still around the corner (https://www.exalate.com) Francis (Part of the exalate team - but that should be obvious :-))
-
HI @[deleted] I'm Francis - part of the team working on Exalate. We are looking to create a standalone version of the Exalate for Jira Server - such that you can have the same functionality as with the add-on, but then without installing it in Jira itself. This in combination with the private/public connection type (which…

Hi @bill The Table Grid Next Generation (TGNG) stores its data in the custom fields table (and this data will be included whenever exporting to XML). Additionally - the Table Grid Migration Tool allows for the migration of the data to the TGNG. Your active Table Grid Editor license, can also be converted to a TGNG license…
-
Yup - understood. It is one of the reasons why we started with the table grid next generation - simplify the configuration. Is it solved now?

Global context means that the custom field is available for all projects and issuetypes. Whenever you initialise the grid, it will be initialised for all the issues that are being created - even when not on a screen. Can I advice you to work with an Atlassian Certified Professional. They will be able to point you in the…
-
Can you check all the table grid editor custom fields and make sure that the custom field context is limited to the projects where you are using the custom field.

Hello, Looking at the stacktrace Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException at com.idalko.jira.plugins.igrid.providers.DataUtils.getOptions(DataUtils.java:694) at com.idalko.jira.plugins.igrid.providers.hibernate.DataSourceProvider.getDynItems(DataSourceProvider.java:328) at…

> I supplied the email to get the whitepaper but did not get it Strange - I will send it directly. Let me know if you didn't receive it. > One question around Exalate was how does the data transmission happen? Via Rest API Exalate provides different deployment models, depending on the underlying tracker. For instance, on…

(I'm with the team that builds Exalate) Hi Matthias, Thanks for the presentation and the links - much appreciated. Hi Yash, As answered in the other thread, but added here for other people convenience, We do have an extensive overview of the design of Exalate in the Security and Architecture whitepaper. It provides an…

(I'm with the team that builds Exalate) Hi Yash, Check the answer from Mathias on your question on the other thread here. It boils down that both add-ons have their own approach to cover these requirements. We do have an extensive overview of the design of Exalate in the Security and Architecture whitepaper. It provides an…

Hi Emery, ServiceNow is now launching the integration hub with a Jira Spoke simplifying the integration between the two systems, and this will be improved in the Orlando release. Another approach is to have a close look at Exalate. It supports a much wider set of use cases (such as bidirectional comment synchronization,…

As an issue type - you can use something as 'Development Project' or 'Initiative' or anything relevant for your team. The term 'Meta Project' is just a term. The 'Meta Project' is a Jira project where the issues created are 'Initiatives' with the opportunity workflow associated. The flexibility of Jira allows you to…
