Hello @Pavithra GK Have you looked at the "Table filter" plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/27447/table-filter-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=overview

Hello @JING CHENG GUO Currenlty it's an open request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-59482 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-63317 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-71176

Hello @sunil tattimani You can have multiple post-functions, each post-function dedicated to one project. If you want even more number of projects then you can create a custom script listener as well. If you feel my answer has helped you , please accept/upvote. thanks.
-
Hello @sunil tattimani You are on right track, you have already added a transition for "creat story" and on the transition screen you can fill the fields for the story. Then you add a post-function on this transition, this post-function comes from script runner plugin to "clone" an issue. And instead of cloning you can…

Hello @Stephen Mc Donald If you have Jira service desk, then you can do this out of the box, based on the automation rules as explained here https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/automating-your-service-desk-732528900.html If you only have Jira server, then you can create a script listener to add a auto-comment…

Hello @sunil tattimani Here's the API reference of the plugin https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/behaviours-api-quickref.html Some samples https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/behaviours-overview.html I am surprised that you are using an very outdated version of Jira, it's best to upgrade it to a…

Hello @Pooraninayaki Issue archiving is only part of Jira Data center release version 8.1 https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-8-1-x-release-notes-966669112.html?_ga=2.230873503.1613897545.1557067815-10709057.1525334903#JiraSoftware8.1.xreleasenotes-archive Could you please elaborate more on how you…

I am using tempo 9.x and I don't have this issue, I see the username in the author name and not the ""addon_is.origo.jira.tempo-plugin"

Hello @Asanka Garusinghe Here's a possible duplicate question https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/Issue-with-Author-and-comment-in-Worklogs-using-the-Jira-API/qaq-p/632860
-
Both are different queries First one gets the issues which have assignee "chinthaka" and work was logged on the issues b/w the specified dates. Second one tries to get issues which had work logged b/w the mentioned dates and the also on the issues the user "chinthaka" has logged work but not necessarily between the…

Hello @Soňa Přílučíková From docs Currently, there is no project import available for Jira Cloud applications. As a workaround, customers can follow the steps below. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-migrate-projects-from-one-jira-cloud-application-to-another-779160766.html…
-
Hello @Asanka Garusinghe Assignee means the person to whom the issue is assigned and workLogAuthor is the person to logs works on the issue i.e. Time spent on the issue can be logged by 10 people and each of them will be workLogAuthor but assignee can only be 1 person for each issue in jira.

If you are writing groovy for scripts for script runner plugin then follow this setup https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/5.5.5/jira/DevEnvironment.html
-
Hello @Piyal Nanayakkara The error is coming because you need to have Atlassian java libraries in your classpath. Because the jar files are not on your class-path thus you see this error.
-
Please see the official docs on this matter https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-software-evaluator-resources/jira-software-importing-a-project-from-one-cloud-instance-to-another https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-migrate-projects-from-one-jira-cloud-application-to-another-779160766.html

Hello @David Coudron There is a plugin for this requirement of yours called "element" it's paid plugin. Here's what it can do https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/23337/elements-connect-formerly-nfeed?hosting=server&tab=overview It does support fetching the data via REST API and also from DB With script runner plugins,…

Hello @Soňa Přílučíková Are you trying to migrate projects from Jira cloud to Jira cloud or from server to cloud or vice-versa. Please share more details about Jira instances.
-
Hello @sunil tattimani Your requirement is not possible out of the box. You will need a plugin. You can use Behaviour module of the Script runner plugin for this. Possible duplicate https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Answers-Developer-Questions/Behaviour-plugin-to-restrict-linkedissue-types/qaq-p/536508 From the docs…
-
Hello @NEGAR JALALIAN You can follow as @Jack Brickey suggested without an add-on, but if you have an add-on like Script runner. You can write a script and do the following * Write a script which does a JQL query to fetch all the issues. * Update all issues in a loop to copy the fixVersion in a custom field (text field) in…

Hello sarah.shearer@akersolutions.com Currently, it's not supported in next-gen projects, please see this ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17275 "Display sum of children issues story points for an Epic" Hence, aggregating the story points at epic level is the first step of the requirement mention by you…

Ability to have "Project archiving" and "Issue archiving" in Jira server will benefit lot of customers, especially the ones having less than 2 million issues in their server version and are happy with it's performance and currently not planning to move to Data center.
-
Hello @Akbar N If the number of options is so high (50!) then don't use the post-function approach. Instead create a custom listener which should be triggered and in that listener check the number of values selected for the multi-select field and for each value create a sub-tasks using Java API in a loop.…

Hello @Markus Lindberg Please accept/upvote answers so that other users are also benefited.
-
Searching for attachments is not on the Atlassian roadmap right now. Hence you will need a plugin. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-1210
-
As @Jack Brickey suggested you will need a paid plugin for for this. But since you are on cloud, thus I am not very optimistic if it's possible to achieve what you want on cloud instance as on cloud you don't have direct access to underlying Jira APIs in the plugins. But you can give it a try with the plugins mentioned by…
-
And just to add, if you want to search for specific attachments etc in JIRA then that's not supported natively in Jira, instead you will need to use paid third party apps for searching for attachments via JQL https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html#_attachments…
-
Hello @Markus Lindberg as you said "(100+) documents" That's not an issue at all. Jira can easily handle large number of attachments. The instance I am managing, has over 100 thousand(100K) attachments and things are running pretty smooth.
-
issues = jira.create_issues(field_list=issue_list)
-
Hello @anmol sharma As per the docs https://jira.readthedocs.io/en/master/examples.html#issues "Successfully created issues will contain the issue object as a value of the <span>issue</span> key."
-
Hello @Markus Lindberg Just to add to the answer by @Christos Moysiadis - You can easily have 15 sub-tasks (or even more), that's not an issue. - Jira is for project tracking and management and confluence is for content management. Hence use Confluence for managing and creating content and you can easily link content with…
