Hello @Anil Kumar I don't think it's possible to do this even with plugin on cloud. With Script runner plugin you can achieve it on server but with cloud I am not sure if you can achieve this. Also, on Cloud you don't have access to DB hence you can't execute the DB queries yourself.

Hello @Akbar N For your use-case "Say for one issues user will selects only option A but for another Issue user selects Option A, B and C. In the second case it needs to create three sub-task. " You can create multiple post-functions for creation of sub-tasks and each sub-task post-fcuntion execution depends of the…

I will suggest you Script runner,it has the most comprehensive feature set though slightly steeper learning curve.

Hello @Gaurav Joshi In the board configuration, you have to add the "Labels" field in the card-layout- backlog section.
-
Hello @Jagriti Currently it's not possible to display release date in the issue navigator view or to use it in JQL. I think in your instances there is already a custom field which has been created by the admins called "Release date" and hence the confusion because you are thinking of this field as the one which should give…

Hello @Barak Haver You can have a transition screen and make the field mandatory. The transition should be the one taking you to the status where you generally release the issue. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-make-jira-applications-fields-required-in-a-workflow-transition-691011903.html

Hello @Gawie_Bing Great to know that you already have a custom solution built to support your requirements. May be if possible you can share the solution via an open source project with rest of the community members. Hello @Prem Sharma Here's a step by step guide to setup the workflow transition screeen to update the resolution. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/mapping-a-screen-to-a-workflow-transition-720634253.html
-
Hello @ia_pmeunier Is it happening only when the issue is created? Or also when someone tries to edit the issue. Also, is the update resolution action reflected in the issue history? This could be happening if the client has added the "Resolution" field on the edit screen of the issue. Because when he tries to edit the…

Hello @Manoj Field based permissions are not supportted in Jira, instead Jira has issue based permissions. But with the help of Script runner plugin's behaviour module you can have field level permissions. Please see an sample here…
-
Hello @Tabea Blank Only users with Jira admin permissions can create projects in Jira, hence your users do have admin rights as they are able to create Jira projects. Also, the same Jira admin permissions are required to add/modify project categories for projects. Hence if users have admin rights to create project then…

Hello @Gawie_Bing I don't think it's possible to show the %complete of sub-tasks on the customer portal. As i haven't come across this in the Atlassian docs or on the community.
-
Hello @Dan Walker Thanks for your detailed reply. One of the central pillars of Agile is "Inspect and Adapt", which enables Agile teams to respond to change. You have stated To me, it seems that is what the "Backlog" is for, both semantically and in reality. An issue that is not complete but can't be completed in the…

Hello @Gawie_Bing When you say "as I need to display it on the Customer Portal." Do you mean the customer portal for the service desk? As per the docs, the sub-tasks are for internal (back-end use only) https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-service-desk-evaluator-resources/jira-service-desk-sub-tasks And currently…

Also @Brian Medford Could you attach the atlassian-jira.log file.
-
Also, uninstalling and then reinstalling a plugin doesn't lead to lose of the plugin data. So if you have time-sheet entries in tempo plugin and you uninstall it and then again install it back then the data would still be-intact
-
If you can't do the above then try this * Stop JIRA * Navigate to <JIRA_HOME>/plugins/installed-plugins, rename the installed-plugins directory to installed2-plugins as this forces JIRA to start without all additionally installed plugins. Once Jira is started then try to install all the plugins one by one, this will help…
-
Hello @Brian Medford As per the logs "2 plugins failed to load during JIRA startup." So you are unable to start Jira because plugins are not loading. You need to start Jira in safe mode(only with system plugins and without any custom plugins, you can enable them later from manage apps section) Please see the fix here (from…

Hello @[deleted] Out of the box Jira doesn't display sub-tasks's sprint field on the parent issue screen, hence someone must have made the modifications. Please see this document as it tell you where the modifications must have been made, so that you can revert it and hence removing the sprint field from the sub-task list…
