Hello @Alexander_Cook Welcome to the community. Currently it's not possible to create new sub-task issueTypes in next gen project. Here's the open ticket. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18117 As a next-gen project admin, I want to be able to add different subtasks issue types

Hello @Mike Sebastian Out of the box it's not possible to automatically return the sum of story points but if you have a paid plugin like Script runner, then you can do it like this project = MAD and createdDate > startOfWeek() and "Story Points" is not empty and issueFunction in aggregateExpression("Total story points",…

Hello @magdalena.misiak Currently you can't see sub-tasks in the planning mode (backlog) of the Scrum board. Here's the open ticket about it. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-7992
-
Hello @Cheese And Chill Why are you using "sprint names" in the fixVersion field, it's not a good practice. For dynamic results you can use fixVersion in earliestUnreleasedVersionByReleaseDate() or fixVersion in unreleasedVersions()
-
Hello @Debbie Pope Is the story points fields mapped to all the projects, because it's a custom field. Go to any story and click on Admin-> where's my field and then check for story points field. It could be that the story point field is not present because it's not mapped to the projects in the custom field configuration…
-
Hello @Shannon Riley When you say "mark issue as complete" do you move the issue to the right-most column of the active sprint board? Because for the sprint board an issue is complete only when it moves to the right-most column of the board and if that's not the case then it will automatically move to the backlog and will…

Hello @Gianni Minicozzi "Automation for Jira" is indeed a very good plugin and both Script runner and Automation for Jira provide similar features and for some scenarios you might find Automation for Jira much simpler to use but even though the learning curve of Script runner is steeper than other plugins but it provides…
-
Hello @Gianni Minicozzi Yes, that's possible but not without a plugin. You can use "Scripted fields" from the paid plugin Script runner. To achieve what you want, you will need to do a JQL search within the scripted field code based on the label to fetch all issues with fixVersion which maps to release date and then do a…
-
Hello @sahere You are getting the error, because you are treating "watcher" as a custom field and thus gettting error in your logs. Please use watcher Manager as defined in API https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/7.6.1/com/atlassian/jira/issue/watchers/WatcherManager.html Example code here, please see answer…
-
Hello @Rupa Saxena You can map different workflows for same issueType across different projects. Because projects follow workflow scheme and in that workflow scheme you can map project specific workflow for the same issueType across various projects.…

Hello @cta-smiles Please see this answer as to how you can get the value of the scripted field for an issue. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/How-can-I-retrieve-a-Script-Field-value-in-a-Scriptrunner-quot/qaq-p/798094

Hello @Fahad Siddiqui Please see below how the request type is mapped to the issue type in project settings and there is an option to edit fields, which allows you to show/hide fields available to the customer on the portal.
-
Hello @mahsa rahbani By default it's not possible for the story to automatically move to another status. Hence you will need to use a plugin like Automation for Jira, Script runner or Jira Suite utilities. You can use any of these paid plugins to achieve what you require.
-
Hello @Fahad Siddiqui In the request type configuration you can configure the fields which you can show and hide form the customer portal. The complete list of the fields for the request type is based on the fields configured in the screen of the issueType.

Hello @himanshu agarwal Please have a look at issue level security in Jira. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/configuring-issue-level-security-861253265.html

Hello @Philipp Rass Based on this thread -https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Can-you-filter-on-Jira-field-within-a-Zephyr-search-filter/qaq-p/191301 It doesn't seem to be possible to use Zephyr Query language along with JQL.
-
Hello @Philipp Rass Welcome to the community. Can you please share a screenshot of test case view screen. Because if the information about whether it's passed or failed is stored in any field then you can easily write a Quick filter or Swim-lane to categorize test-cases on the board itself into passed and failed test…
-
Hello @Satyaki Deb Your requirement is a pretty common one. Is there any workaround by which we can have a burndown chart for the sprints based on the QA completed status The easiest way to achieve this is to make sure the status "QA completed status" is the *right-most status* on the Scrum board. In Jira board…

Hello @Deepika In order to get the admin rights, you have to reach out to your current admin who can grant you the required admin rights. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver080/managing-global-permissions-967897260.html
-
Hello @Deepika Please see the docs https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver080/managing-shared-filters-967898020.html You need to have jira admin permissions in order to perform this action.
-
Hello @Deepika You have to go into the section "Shared dashboard" and then click on the cog on the extreme right next to the dashboard and then change the owner. If you are on server the url of this section is <your-jira-base-url>/secure/admin/dashboards/ViewSharedDashboards.jspa

Hello @Enterprise Knowledge Adding further to @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- answer. If you don't want a complicated solution as project sync required plugins from marketplace and it can be tricky to setup. And since you mention Update: Is there a way to integrate both our Jira instances to see each other's ticket ques and…

"We test Confluence in Internet Explorer 11 using standards-compliant rendering mode, not compatibility mode. You may experience problems in compatibility mode. "
-
Hello @Protosoft Account and @Yevhen Rohovets IE 11 is supported by Atlassian for Confluence 6.15. Please see the following link of supported browsers and platforms. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/supported-platforms-207488198.html
-
Hello @Yevhen Rohovets Using the "update" here might not give correct results because it means any "field" which is updated and not necessarily fixVersion.
-
Hello @Darryl Beckett You have to use the "change" keyword for this purpose, if your release name is "July- Billing" then you will use the following JQL fixVersion changed AFTER -48h and fixVersion = "July - Billing"
-
Yes, the original query is different, but my concern based on my experience of working with various clients is the fact that sprint field should ideally be auto-populated by movement of issue in the backlog. But rest I leave it upto your team.
-
The fields exists because "Sprint" value is stories in a field. But I have seen so many users messing it up by specifying wrong Sprint because lot of sprint names are similar across multiple boards and once the issue lands up on the sprint board of another sprint then it will mess up the sprint related reports.
