Yes, makes sense. Unfortunately it is not supported currently. You could submit a feature request, making sure one does not exist already Alternately you can accomplish this with a custom plugin, but would need a developer.

Yes sorry, edited my answer, you should be abnle ot use worklogdate in most recent versions of JIRA, but it does seem to be buggy in that > startofDay() doesnt work, but >= (greater or equal) will.
-
As the other thread discusses, Updated considers many changes and can't be filtered down to specific fields. But using >= on worklogdate should work. worklogDate >= startOfDay() or specific dates worklogDate >= "YYYY/MM/DD" in what seems like a bug, it is not smart enough to look inside a day (i.e. 2 hours ago), so you…

Yes, so long as testing validates everything, the attribute in the xml is what tells JIRA your plugin is compatible.
-
yes, you'll need to use a backend JIRA service for that translation. There is a few methods to translate the pretty name from the system ID. https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/7.2.0/com/atlassian/jira/issue/CustomFieldManager.html So you may want to query the customfield_15006 (or approproate ID) in the backend first, and…

You can still use AJS in your plugin to manipulate the Service Desk fields, and any AUI objects (like select2). BUT Service Desk is for unknown reasons different that every other atlassian product in how you access AJS. The trick is to NOT declare AJS as a dependency, but include any non-core AUI dependencies (i dont think…

@pascal Bouchard, The *ID* actually doesn't change, but you will change the *Key* when an issue moves because the *key* must match the parent project. You may consider if the need for movement across projects indicates that Components should be used instead, or if you feel the need to move tickets across projects is legit,…

It's not an answer for use cases outside of SauceLabs, but if you just need an easy way to integrate tunnerl startup with testing, their Maven Mojo is perfect solution. https://github.com/saucelabs/sauce-java/tree/master/sauce-connect-plugin Just add the config to your build steps and it will open and close a tunnel to…

You can edit the artifact version after the fact by clicking the little pencil icon by the name. But I think the artifact name is set in the linked build plan.

Anyone actually see where bamboo avatars are used? ha I was able to implement a custom GravatarService with Justin's help, but don't actually see th image used anywhere.
-
This should eb a comment to Steve's original question, not an answer.
-
I think some custom development would be needed to accomplish this. Are you hosting your own instance? You could edit the template directly (not suggested) or write a plugin that could hook into the desired screen. https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/Web+Panel+Plugin+Module

we've resulted to a cron job that makes a curl call to the systems providing auth tokens as cookies to get websudo access needed to kick it off.

How many threads do you use for initial scan? What is the FECRU heap set to? There is no way a scan would consume 16 gigs unless something is seriously wrong.
-
I assume you are referencing the addons by Bob Swift, and yes, a quick google confirms it does exist. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.atlassian.cli https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/90

You can use custom queries for swimlanes, so the work around would apply. Also see the answer below suggesting card colours.

not an answer, please comment on an exiting answer or question

Thanks for closing this. Next choir, write a bot that auto down-votes any answer that includes "+1" in it. 5 down votes if another answer in that thread already includes a JIRA ticket where such votes shoudl be recorded.
-
No, please never +1 as answers. It is misleading and does not add visibility. The atlassian team has a clearly documented process for enhancement requests that includes voting on thier JIRA tickets. "Answers" should be reserved for answering the original user's question, not to express your opinion.…

Teams with larger farms and round-the-clock builds can use Monit and Agent APIs for Bamboo to monitor the disk space of agents and react as needed. The plugin allows you to disable the agent, and monitor it until running builds finish. Monit acts as the monitoring tool that kicks off the task to cleanup. Monit control…

If you have a developer with some java and velocity knowledge you could very easily add a new customfieldtype along with some web-panels to add the tabs to the admin overview. https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/Creating+a+Custom+Field+Type Adding Web fragment to the project config pages:…

Completed epics are cleared from the planning board automatically (why plan done epics), but are always avilable in reports,. Closed issues will only be visible during the current sprint, and once that finishes they wont show on the scrum boards either. What is the need to view done epics? How far back? there may be other…

Thats not a REST api. That's a xwork action protected by xsrf tokens and credentials. See https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/29420/best-way-to-reboot-agents-in-bamboo/313364 But using cron is an approach, and can pass credentials to the link ROy shared or use the recently releaae Agent APIs for Bamboo plugin.…

For this sort of trouble I would suggest submitting a support ticket to get immediate visibility from atlassian. support.atlassian.com

Subtasks can be viewed by showing a story in the sidebar. I think this aligns very well to the concept of stories in an agile methodology, particularly scrum boards. A story is done when it is done, and should be doable in a single sprint. If not you should try to separate the story into more granular efforts. FOr those…

I beleive you will need to build your own plugin to do this. THere are several challenges to consider: * SHould the embedded content be static, or dynamically linked to the page for uodates, etc. * Is this manual or automatic based on keywords? * Would it be a macro inserted into comments, or a dropdown on a screen, or…

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Integrating+JIRA+with+Subversion JIRA's Subversion integration lets you see Subversion commit information relevant to each issue. Subversion integration can be implemented either by using Atlassian FishEye or the Subversion add-on. The FishEye integration offers greater…
