There is no way to add additional details to Versions beyond the provided ones without additional plugins. And to that end I did not find any related plugins after a quick search. (The underlying object used by JIRA is fixed with those fields, so additional fields would need to be stored separately using AO as a custom…

Are you displaying a remote page, or inline HTML? You could likely do this with some custom CSS to modify the html presentation. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Styling+Confluence+with+CSS
-
Are you posting XML? DId you escape the comment in CDATA? <,> and other characters used in links are invalid as XML values/attributes.

You can authenticate, save the cookie, and post to the websudo page specifying the destination as the protected action to run. curl -o /dev/null -k -c cookies.txt -d "os_username=${USERNAME}&os_password=${PASSWORD}" https://host/jira/login.jsptoken=`tail -1 cookies.txt | tr -s "\t" " " | cut -d" " -f7`curl -o a.html -kL -b…

status was in( "In Progress","Open") during("start Date","end Date") https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Advanced+Searching#AdvancedSearching-WASIN Lots of examples on that page, and lots of questions alreayd answered in these forums.

Note to client, find another partner.

Not sure,never used it.

Would something like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.flosdorf.confluence.plugin.javadoc-macro work for you? It allows Javadoc to be embedded in wiki pages.

A few of users ran into a similar issue. The resolution was to have the user clear cookies and cache, and on the server side we purged the caches during a restart. But yours maybe different, and we would need to have a peak at the server side logs to understand a bit more. I suggest you try the above first, because it is…

Stupid question, but is your license current? You can check in the admin panel to validate the core JIRA license is valid (which usually will hault an upgrade) and use the add-on manager to validate all your plugins are properly licensed.

@nIKHIL, you should start a new question for this topic. But in short no, the future sprints in the planning view are actually called "markers", and I do not think they are available via JQL- https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/52688/how-to-use-rapid-board-s-sprint-marker-in-jql-query, but you can get the list of…

The hack i found was to view the sprint report for an active/closed sprint. /secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=4&view=reporting&chart=sprintRetrospective&sprint=1 The global Sprint ID will showup in the URL. I would really love AtLSSIAN to add a simple link that jumps to issue navigator, pre-filtered like the old boards did.
-
Try RapidBoard (part of GreenHopper) It shows a crosss-rpoject view based on your team, or any custom filter really. http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Creating+a+Rapid+Board It is much more aligned for team scrumboards. The default "task board" is really intended to be project specific.…

Atlassian labs has a free plugin that works well for me. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugins.personal-issue-templates/version/4 Includes checkboxes for which fields to clone when using the template.

Go to my.atlassian.com and sign in with the technical contact's email. The training should be available there. I think you need to sign up first, and provide the email domain to use for authorizing additional users. (to add multiple domains you need to email support) You may need to follow up with sales@atlassian.com or…

I use the "Favoite Spaces" for this function. There is ~6 or so saces relevant to me, so I stared them. Now when I seach I can select "favorite spaces" from the drop down. Its not the dynamic asect you are looking for I think, but it works if you commonly want to search the same ones.

DId you update the settings in JIRA admin UI for the new URL, and also (i assume using a proxy) update the underlying tomcat/jetty config for the reverse proxy URL? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Using+Apache+with+mod_proxy Sounds like that may be the issue.
-
Have you checked the user specific preferences? These settings work for other users? Does the Admin receive _any_ emails from bamboo?

The Estimate for th Sprint is effort and not duration. So 3 - 1day tasks is 3 days of effort. Gantt is not Scrum, or agile. Gantt's are absurd attemps to forecast the unpredicable effort and pace of work over a long period of time. Agile relies on the concept of Velocity instead. A team of 3 reources on average delivers 9…

Joshua, please go ahead and accept Ryan's answer. This question is shwo to still be looking for an answer, and will draw other users away from helping those with outstanding questions.

Based on my experience you will need to use the URL configured in the tool's configuration for app links authorization to work. We use apache reverse proxy in front of all our tools, and even when they were on the same app server (which we quickly moved away from as each app can get pretty hungry) we still had to use the…

Updating cascading selects is not as simple as regular fields. You need a few intermediate objects. CustomFieldValue parentValue=new CustomFieldValue("customfield_10010",null,new String[]{"10600"});CustomFieldValue childValue=new CustomFieldValue("customfield_10010",1,new…

This functionality does not exist, and was closed with lack of interest, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-12739 A similar feature request (mediawiki signatures) was rejected, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-26308 and I am not aware of any such plans to implement a feature like that. Related bug/discussion potentially https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/233465/upgrading-jira-with-fallback-method-returns-an-error-when-i-set-the-administrator-profile, but that points to a bug (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-23876) solved back in 4.3..

Hmm, looking at that recipe I don't think it is modifying seraph, osusers, or crowd.properties. These are really the only few places I know of that define this other than the database. Can you look at/dump the database table "cwd_directory" (no sensitive info in that table, but it should have the type), and see how the…
-
WHat CHef Recipe are you using? My guess is it's altering seraph-config.xml or similar in the JIRA install directory, thus making JIRA think it should look for crowd. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Integrating+Crowd+with+Atlassian+JIRA#IntegratingCrowdwithAtlassianJIRA-Step2.ConfiguringJIRAtotalktoCrowd…

This is a very subjective question. I would focus on your needs and search the marketplace for matching solutions. You can see popularity and ratings there and decide what is the best for you.

No, JIRA alone will not include issues from a federated instance, only the "local" items. But you do have some options.. However you can setup a gadget in instance A of search results, and embed that gadget on a dashboard in Instance B.…

I undertsand your interest int he products, and the desire for feedback, but I do not feel this is the approprioate platform. If you want positive reviews, Atlassian's product site has testimonials and case studies. If you want the negative side just google the product name and "bad", "poor", or "failed".
