You can find a Atlassian Partner in your location (https://www.atlassian.com/partners/search) that would be able to help you with your problems or simply contact Atlassian Support to help you bring back you instance (if you have a valid license with maintenance. If not maybe it would be cheaper to buy a new license or…

There is a way to do it from the database side.. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-get-and-update-jira-license-string-from-the-database-441746313.html However you need to be careful to not do more damage and for example remove existing license key. Please make a database backup before doing any modification.

Hmm. If your version was 3.5.x then the recommended upgrade path is "Upgrade to 5.0.3 then upgrade to the latest version of Confluence 6". Why not going directly to 6.x form 5.0.3 and you are doing a middle jump two times (to 5.1.4 and 5.5)?

Please check that article https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-set-the-user-jira-runs-as-in-linux-433390559.html Hope it helps! :)

By default, JIRA applications use 8080, but you can easily change that to something else. This is how it is done https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/changing-jira-application-tcp-ports-861253904.html

Seems like a new feature .. Maybe group posts - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Groups/ct-p/groups :)

Everything is possible. It is a matter only of time and resources. Your idea however is not effective. Writing a plugin to support that might consume a lot of work. As a alternative Apache is better for that. You can block then paths based on IP or add another layer of authentication if needed but you would still need to…

On Confluence you have a Dashboard with "All updates" that show users activity from all spaces/pages that you have access to. Is this what you are looking for or you want to show Activity Stream from JIRA in Confluence? In order to do so you would first have to set up an application link to JIRA (Confluence Admin >…

If you run a production instance you should not use an embedded database since it is not so effective. MySQL should be fine. Later you can probably migrate if you need to. As for End of Life it means that even you have a valid license and maintenance you would not get support in case of problem with your instance…

If you remove the Browse Project permission the project should be removed. It will be only visible from the list of projects from the admin menu.

We should always give a choice to users :) .. Would be good if you can switch in your profile from colors to black and white :) . I think overall many new things should be provided as option for people to choose . If they do no like it they can switch back to the old view. If you set up an counter you can check how many…

Yes, but in one space or all spaces?.. does it only affect you or other admins? Did you tried on a different browser? I think this is also the time to share a screenshot :)

And this is from real life :) .. Can You Figure out This Dog Optical Illusion? :)

Ísafjör∂ur (not sure how to pronounce it :)), a town in Northern Iceland, came up with a clever way to get drivers to pay attention. Crosswalk that appears 3D. Pretty cool :)

Whoaa.. One of the coolest floors I have seen :) Maybe a new idea for entrance in the office? :D

Exactly! "The problem is, the definitions in the GDPR are very broad and open, and there is a lot of legal uncertainty". And we both agree with this. That is why I mentioned that everyone understand GDPR regulations differently. It is like with other law and regulations. If there is a problem you meet at court :)…

@Alexander KuekenThank you for jumping in however you actually did not catch my point. If you are sure that username or nickname count please provide an article that clearly define that as a personal information and we can refer to it. I did not find anything like that. Maybe I missed it. Thanks! For me this GDPR only…
-
Hmm.. How you can find out easily to who this username belongs to? :) In JIRA there are not PERSONAL data stored. If this is stored somewhere is it is In AD (LDAP) and administrator of this system is responsible for personal data and count towards GDPR regulations. Let me underline again very important point... In the logs…

Not quite .. It does not say Jens Kisters that live in here and here.. have this email address .. etc. It just say j.kisters which mith be Jeo Kisters, Jurgen Kisters, Jerremy Kristerson.. etc. It does not CLEARLY identify you as you.. If you provide this log to me I cannot directly say that is you. That is main point of…

Looking at this is a little chaos to me.. It is not even sorted alphabetically, hard to read, some products have subcategories, some not.. Everything simply gray without any life (color) that could be better for eyes. Hmm.. Since some products are only on Cloud (like Stride, Atlassian Access, .. ) and some are for server…

Awesome! I really like natural wood! At home I have many things made with it. Overall industrial design is cool and oak is the best wood!

You can always export all pages from space to XML and/or PDF and keep it somewhere in safe place.
-
There is a free add-on that you can use for that - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211240/bulk-move-subtasks-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview
-
I do it quickly in that way .. As soon as you paste a link that is for example a link to a JIRA ticket and it is auto converted to an interactive link you can simply hit CTRL+Z (like undo) and link will become a normal link. Then Save a page and you should be done :)
-
Hmm.. for Cloud instance Usage Statistics build in Confluence I think is disabled and few years back you needed to contact Atlassian to enable that (Support request). If that is not possible any more maybe you can use different plugins that exist on the marketplace like for example Analytics for Confluence -…

OK but you mentioned that you are having 3 applications on one host. So the question is what else is running on that host (database, anit-virus, .. etc.), how much RAM is reserved per application, and how big instances you are having. Not enough Java heap might not be reserved to successfully start all modules. If you are…
