If you have a large instance I do not recommend XML backup because of all problems that you describe and even more... I mostly work on Linux machines and making a test system by creating a database dump (or copying data on a database side) and moving attachments/plugins and overall Home directory with rsync. This…

Hi @Toplica Matic - Welcome to the Community! :) Sure, it should not be a problem :) .. If you are new to it please read below doc carefully and ask questions here on Community (if any) :) https://confluence.atlassian.com/ug/best-practices-guide-for-upgrading-jira-software-server-933696757.html
-
Please provide JIRA version on which you are working on.
-
In that case looking at your more detailed looks I guess that it might be a bigger problem even a database corruption. Did you change recently something on a database (or infrastructure side)? Any upgrades, patches?
-
... or do a little modification like someone on this window ;) (not sure why choosing a baby, but.. people can do weird things :))
-
But at least you have a river near :)
-
I would guess that this would be the procedure * Stop JIRA * Open jira-config.properties file in JIRA Home root. If the file is not present create it. * Add a new line that reads: "jira.monitoring.jmx.enabled=false" * Start JIRA
-
You might be facing this problem - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-67614 Did you tried to start JIRA without JMX Monitoring tool?
-
Did you tried on a different browser? Is any error other that that showing (when inspecting a page with build in developers tools)? Have you check you filter? Is it heavy or having only few issues?
-
I am not sure if putting incidents into sprints it is a good idea. I am working on support for many years and for me Kanban is the only solution. If there is other work being done outside support and planned (like maintenance) it might be handled by sprints but should already include team velocity in estimation - how many…

Just to be clear.. you mean "software functions" which mean access to all boards (scrum/kanban) for example? Did you tried to deactivate and activate the user again (or remove him access to Software temporary)? Would be not able to use "software functions"?
-
Do you have access to JIRA Software functions? Is your license OK? .. Was it a "check" yesterday and earlier?
-
Cześć @PJ Wysota! ;) Nice to see you here on community. If you need anything or have any questions - just mention and ask :)
-
Yeah! :)
-
@Cameron DeatschI must say that I totally agree with Walter. Cloud is currently not an option for a lot of enterprise customers that have many issues, objects in JIRA and are using many extensions (addons) since we all know that even same plugins exists on cloud and server those are not the same products (like Cloud and…

No. It does not sum toward your commercial license. You if you have 250 on production environment, you also have 250 on developer licenses.

Hi @HarrietMcKerrow - Welcome to the Community! I think the page you are looking for in located in my.atlassian.com (https://my.atlassian.com/billing/paidorders) where all quotes and invoices associated with your account should be showing.
-
Hi @Arnoud Zeeuw van der Laan - Welcome to Community! There should be 3 dots "..." near attachments section where you need to choose list and sorting order. See screenshot below

Hi @Garikoitz Lets start with the main number one question - Is this JIRA Cloud or Server? :)
-
It depends on your requirements. I think you are easily able to build a simple Approval workflow with couple of custom fields and make from this a Leave request that people would use. You do not need to use any tools for that. However if you want to make it more flexible or "fancy" solution with automatons etc. then it is…

Hi @autonomatt - As I mentioned here (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Migrate-JIRA-project-from-one-server-to-another/qaq-p/891341#M32986) migration in theory is done in 3 simple steps... In practice when you start doing this you see many problems that you need to bypass.. old version that cannot…
-
You need to first apply to a program. Then you have some time to do Technical track on Charlie and certificates. Basically you need 2 from those available in this page - https://www.atlassian.com/university/certification
-
In theory there are 3 main steps.. * You upgrade to the latest version of JIRA (since Cloud is similar to that and that is recommendation) * Backup and Export data from your JIRA Server * Import data to JIRA Cloud Then you see what kind of errors you get :) I suggest to start with this documentation:…
-
You need to by a JIRA System administrator in order to make this change in Advanced Settings. I assume you are using Server. Below article might help you understand how to and what need to change https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/changing-the-due-date-input-format-192536.html
-
I suggests to read official documentation to get a detailed info about the topic - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/creating-issues-and-sub-tasks-764478439.html

One of my takeaways from the sessions that I attended is the way of dealing with large data. New data scientist team really doing a good job in analyzing input. Session was called Transforming Customer Support With Artificial Intelligence .. and it was a example of using Python libraries (and other tools) to read and…

I was having in mind server permission (user that is having access to files on the server). Not sure if you use Windows/Linux but you should check if after upgrade that did not change.
-
Main question are you having only problem with 5000 rows (or more) or any export is ending with the same error (below 5000).. For me it does not look like a product issue. 403 - Forbidden is related to some permissions problems .. Maybe you do not have permission to get the file that in temporary created on the server?
-
I have mixed feeling... Of course it is only for Cloud and if you do not buy also OpsGenie, Statuspage or ServiceDesk or use Slack for you JIRA Ops right now would a normal JIRA Cloud project where you can add comments and proceed through the workflow... I am waiting for pricing and licensing to have complete picture of…

As I know project archiving is already in JIRA 7.10 but faster experience (on Board for example) is making a huge difference. Overall when using 7.11 (and above) is a lot faster (not sure which version was presented on keynote and compared to 8.0 to show 9s vs 3s loading the same board)
