After each version release there is a delay whilst all plugins are checked for compatibility. Whilst there is usually no problem it is often better to wait until that has been checked before using on your production environment. As you will no doubt test first in your development environment you should be able to confirm…

I have never come across a limit on any of the instances I have worked on. I am sure there is probably a theoretical limit somewhere but I have never seen it have an impact.

As JIRA uses the final column for the "definition of done" and your final column is "Selected for Development" when someone presses the release button it will mark those issues as released that are in that column. JIRA does not realise that this Kanban board is only part of your process. The good news is that the release…

Your suggestion would work but remember Daylight Saving Time can also have an impact on what are the support hours in a region.
-
Hi Romer Ventura Not a perfect answer to your question but this blog I wrote with regard to changes in timezones and how to track the SLAs may be of use to you. http://www.adaptavist.com/w/handling-daylight-saving-changes-in-jira-service-desk/ The first step I would do is have a (hidden) field which captures the customer…

In addition to the excellent comment from Martin above. Remember to provide access for your administrators to be able to troubleshoot when there are any questions.

Hi Robert, This is not possible with the standard charts as you have already discovered but there are a number of plugins that would be able to provide something like this for you. I would search marketplace.atlassian.com as a starting point and look to see which provides the most appropriate functionality.…

Also check your memory usage in case you are hitting a limit there.

One thing to check is it only new attachments that are without thumbnails or all old attachments as well? If it is only new attachments it is possible that you are experiencing the issue described here https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/confluence-doesn-t-generate-thumbnails-154068.html which although this article is…

As an administrator go to <yourhost>/secure/admin/ViewAttachmentSettings.jspa and check that the directory listed here for attachments matches where you think it should be. Also check that allow attachments is set to ON. If this all looks correct then your next steps are checking that the service which is running for JIRA…

The working hours is based on a global setting https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Time+Tracking not a per project/resource setting.

Hi @Russell Wurth Rather than trying to put your backlog in as questions have you considered writing them in Confluence as FAQs or How To Articles? Phill

Including the Kanban board sub-filter which will restrict the items viewed. The default is usually "fixVersion in unreleasedVersions() OR fixVersion is EMPTY" which will hide any issues with a releasedVersion.

Hi MelissaHappy to be of service. Thank you for accepting my answer.Phill

If you have a scripting plugin installed you could use that to make the changes you describe. But I would revisit the CSV import process. You do not need to reimport the whole issue just the following three fields to perform the update you require (and the summary field can be left blank but MUST be included as a field)…

Hi Ady Harold As you did not ask a question you might like to check the documentation at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/advanced-searching-764478330.html and if this does not help provide more details for what you would like assistance.

If you are looking for help on the Atlassian JIRA products could you please phrase a question so that we can assist you.
-
This looks similar to the problem answered in Duplicate LexoRank. Please review the response here, alternatively you may wish to contact Atlassian support and raise a support ticket to have their assistance in resolving this issue.

If you set assign to component lead for items as they are created you can then just change the component lead each week. If you have a scripting plugin such as ScriptRunner 4 JIRA you can automate that change of component lead. Alternatively if you do not have a scripting tool built in you can do it by calling the REST…

There is a good best practice video available as well at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvUnF6RGD1Q which describes workflows and how they work within JIRA. This shows how to update and change your workflow.

The quickest way is to use the bulk change tools if you have permission to use it. Step 1. Filter your issues so that you can see all the issues that you wish to move. Step 2. Under the tools option choose bulk change for either all issues or those only on the current page depending on which you require. Step 3. Select…

Hi Bárbara Escobar Could you please add a screenshot showing the page you are starting the sprint from and the exact message that is displayed? I suspect the incident that you have created may not be selected in the filter for the agile board but this is only one of several options for the problem you report. Phill

Whilst not an answer to your specific question you may find these blogs interesting to read about how Atlassian consider Incident Management https://www.atlassian.com/it-service/incident-management-process https://www.atlassian.com/it-service/incident-management-expert-tips

In addition to the answer from @Vasiliy Zverev you are also seeing information about incompatible versions of plugins eg In the current instance of JIRA the plugin is at version '6.6.80', but in the backup it is at version '6.6.69' You need to make sure that your two instances are at the same version for both the base…

Hi Maximillian Your problem is not unusual. There are a number of different approaches of which I will briefly describe a couple below. * You can have two Agile scrum boards one for your "special" project and one for all other work. You can then track the progress on each board individually with separate sprints allowing…

The constraint in this instance is the project in which the new issue must be raised. There is a way to script the creation without it being in a set project. But this requires a slightly different approach to the Create Constrained Issue approach. Although if the number of projects is small you can just create a…

Assuming you have the issue type "CR" within your project and that you have "move" permissions then you can move the issue from "Task" to "CR" within the same project. You will find the move under the "More" actions button.

Hi @Jenna Hansen There are a number of options in the import issues that you can use. For simplicity here is the reference to the CSV import documentation. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver070/creating-issues-using-the-csv-importer-762877845.html Hope this helps. Phill

@Steven Behnke Thanks for the plug for Adaptavist. @Darya Koyfman You may like to look at the supporting documentation for Scriptrunner at https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com and in particular https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/recipes/workflow/conditions/simple-scripted-condition.html for some examples of the…
