Hi @Kyra Mayock Create a saved filter to match the issues you want to know about and then have a look at the Cumulative Flow Diagram to see if that helps part of standard dashboard reporting. Hope that helps. Phill

I can verify that @Darline Auguste is indeed very wary of bees and all things black/yellow striped...

And we have also had an indication that 9.4 will be the next Long Term Support release. See https://community.developer.atlassian.com/t/long-term-support-releases-coming-soon-jira-software-9-4-and-jira-service-management-5-4/59871

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- Having just spent some time yesterday with some old friends I would probably not even notice.

As a kid there was nowhere near the range of forenames that seem to be used these days. What this meant was everyone got nicknames. But as kids they were never very imaginative so I was known for many years as Foxy. And indeed to this date old friends will still use that name over my given name.

One additional little trick I frequently use with complex linear workflows is the escape route transition. With this I use the transition from "All statuses" to every sensible return point in the workflow but also add a condition to restrict the visibility of this transition to only people in the role of Project Lead. This…

Hi @Jehan Gonsalkorale I have worked with a number of organisations outside the SDLC space who have implemented JSM(D) and am happy to talk with you about these. pfox{at}adaptavist.com Phill

Great initiative to help across the globe. Well done everyone.

@Heidi Lehessalo Thanks for that significant additional piece of information. This puts a very different slant on the scenario. Jira is designed to track real-time activity and report on it. Making changes once a month is not ideal but not impossible. The trick to making changes once a month is to actually pretend these…

Hi @Heidi Lehessalo Welcome to the Atlassian community. It is certainly possible to do some level of tracking of supplier SLAs. However the challenges are in the detail of how those SLAs are defined. At the top-level you can build different SLA metrics to suit different suppliers and either track against a collection of…

HI @Jennifer Luo Here at Adaptavist we faced exactly that problem but we have the advantage of very clever folks who build Apps for a living and so we created One Statuspage https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227368/one-statuspage Other solutions are available but this is already available on the marketplace and is…

@Ashwini Upasani You will find this documented at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/importing-data-from-json-938847609.html

Sorry my suggestions did not help but glad to see trying with Jira 9.1 did. Would be interesting to know if this was an actual fix put in place by Atlassian or something else...

Worth checking out the details in https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Failed-to-reindex-from-upgrading-from-7-1-2-to-8-4-2/qaq-p/1198796 But I have also seen similar when upgrading and the JVM settings are either the default or have been reverted to the defaults. So worth checking that you have…

In which case you might need to add an additional action to set the resolution on the issue as well as transition it to the end status.
-
Hi @Eleni Timini Welcome to the Atlassian Community where peers try to help each other. From your description it sounds as though someone has previously implemented an automation that is no longer working - it may have been disabled or it may simply be that on the Cloud licencing plan you have reached the end of the month…
-
Hi @Diana Yavorska Welcome to the Atlassian Community where peers try to help each other. The first thing to check is whether the resolution field is associated with the project and in particular on a screen associated with that transition. Automation only offers fields associated with the project in the field…

As many organisations consider the future in Cloud it makes sense to use the approach (APIs) that are largely consistent between the two hosting options. By doing so it simplifies any future migration as you do not then need to swap the use of classes to APIs just check the API definitions to make sure they are compatible.

Hi @Smatt Welcome to the Atlassian Community site. Here you will find your peers, Atlassian and Atlassian partners. All answers given here are the opinion of the individual who will be doing their best to help you. I work for Adaptavist an Atlassian Platinum partner and I regularly work with organisations on migrations.…

One workaround is to overlay your test issues with content from a CSV file to render it obvious that it is an unused ticket. (Or you could even use this method to load in the first 16 issues to replace the test content.) See https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/ for more…

Hi folks Glad to be back with you folks again. It has been a while since I led the London AUG and I am now along with @Rina Nir helping to relaunch the Cambridge UK ACE meeting. As a bonus extra I (along with my colleagues at Adaptavist) will be sharing a series of presentations for any ACE in the world with either virtual…

Hi @Marco Trosi Here are a couple of links to answer your question https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4js/latest/features/script-fields (for server/DC installs) https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4jc/latest/features/scripted-fields (for Cloud hosted) The essence of these are that it takes information in an issue and can join it…
-
@Marco Trosi You could achieve this already with a relatively straightforward workaround. Although it would require you to use a plugin to create a hidden calculated field. For full disclosure I work for Adaptavist and so my go to tool of choice is Scriptrunner but there are other options out there. By creating a scripted…

@Dinesh If you are getting a 404 error that sounds like you are not calling the correct url with the correct authentication. I would go back to a simpler API call and check that is working first before moving on to one with multiple parameters.
-
@[deleted] I would approach this as being a central board to control all sprints (that includes the work from every team) but then allow each team to allocate their work within their own board. This will allow you to retain a cadence across the group of teams but give each their own independence on workload. I often work…

Hi @Dinesh You can review the API calls for Confluence users at https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/api-group-users/#api-group-users You will notice there is not a API in that set that returns a list of users for this you need to think laterally and use the groups of members. Assuming you have used the…
