From your screenshot you only have 1 person listed as a user. If you are using the default permission scheme it may be that the browse project permission is restricted to only those people in the role users. (Chetan Halai). As a quick check add yourself to the users and see if that fixes your problem. It could be that…

Hi @Carlton McFarlane I suspect your issue relates to the browser permission for the project. If you check both your permission scheme and project roles are correct. The fact that you can see the project in the JIRA admin menu implies that it is still there but you do not have permission to browse.

Hi First I would check if this only applies to the one user or if others are also affected. Then have a review of the information in this page to see if this explains the reason why. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/@mentions+are+not+working+in+JIRA Hope this helps solve your problem Phill

Hi Lino, The report that is designed to show you where you have bottlenecks is the Cumulative Flow Diagram which shows you where in the process your stories spend time. It does not show you an individual story but does show a view across all the stories. To see the time spent for a single story you can look at the History…

The simplest approach is to go to manage Addons and search for JIRA Service Desk there. Once you have installed it you can then manage the Application to determine who should have access to JIRA Service Desk and who are your Service Desk Agents. I hope this helps. Phill

Do subtask creation work on any other project? What did you change recently?

and the issue is not already a subtask?

Is the issue you are trying to create a subtask on already closed?

Hi Horst, I suspect what is happening is that there is some confusion with the mixture of languages in use. Are the four German named translations that are added the same four everytime? Does it happen when you do an upgrade even a minor point upgrade may add resolutions which are considered absent. For those resolutions…

There is the functionality built in it is called 'Clone' and it can be found under the 'More' actions on any issue provided the user has create permissions. image2015-12-21 23:39:50.png However, as you say you have a set of tasks to be repeated every week you may wish to look at one of the scripting plugins to make this…

I would choose your second option of the transition to Done but with a few minor adjustments. * Name the transition "trash issue" * Restrict who can make this transition using an appropriate condition. Role = Administrator for example * Allow the transition to done be from ALL statuses rather than create individual ones. *…

Here are the instructions on how to change the email templates but this is not a recommended activity as it means that any future upgrades may revert your changes. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/customising-the-email-templates-168001822.html

You need to have delete permissions. So please check with your space administrator what permissions you have and if appropriate update to include the delete attachment permission. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/space-permissions-overview-139521.html for more details on space permissions.

Hi Robert, One plugin you may want to evaluate to see if it provides you with the information you need is "Save License" see https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.holydev.user.holydev-user-manager-plugin/server/overview for details. Phill

To use calculated fields you will need to use one of the extensions available from marketplace to calculate from the number of days. An example of a add-on that will do complex calculations for you is https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.mumosystems.abacus/cloud/overview. Note you are more restricted with choice…

Hi Gijs Schuringa There are a number of different options open to you in how to handle this scenario. The simplest is to use quick filters to select the work allocated to each Scrum team and then you can share a common backlog, sprint cadence and reporting. A more complex option is to use 2 Scrum boards pulling from the…
-
To follow up on the response from @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] the way to do this is to follow these steps. * Create a filter that selects all the required stories from the different projects and save this as a shared filter. * Create a scrum board based upon this new filter. If you have scrum boards for any projects you…

Please review the detail here https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/creating-release-notes-185729647.html this is for JIRA 6.4 and there are similar pages for other versions including the latest 7.X versions.

Hi Chris, Further to the excellent responses from @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] and @Gabrielle Bautista [ACP-JA] which relate to the use of JIRA Software however you raised this question about JIRA Core. So I will firstly continue with the theme of JIRA Software as assumed by @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] and @Gabrielle Bautista…

Hi @Anthony Mastrean The management of the approach I suggested is relatively simple (and with the right permissions) is delegated from the system administrator to the project administrator. The only action once it is setup is to add/remove users from the role on the project.
-
Hi @Anthony Mastrean You will be pleased to hear that the permissions will not be a nightmare if you configure it right. JIRA comes with the concept of user roles on a project. So here is a set of steps for you to work through to make it easy to manage. * Add a new role to JIRA "vendor" * Define your shared permissions…

Further to the comment from @Ignacio Pulgar check whether your colleague should have full administration privileges or just project administration to avoid a repeat or similar mistake.

Hi Lindsay I assume you are either using JIRA Cloud or have performed a recent upgrade to JIRA Software. Here is the link to the article from Atlassian about the redesigned card format. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/blog/2016/12/new-design-of-jira-software-issue-cards You can also follow the request to…

Yes you can. Just go to manage add-on and search for Service Desk this can then be installed on top of JIRA Software. You should find all your answers (and more) in the migration hub at https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7/server_jira+agile+jsd_product-changes Phill

https://www.atlassian.com/university/faq explains the different training offerings from Atlassian. Google is also a great place to look for other free resources such as youtube videos, partner webinars etc.

Hi Kian Pariwar A link is just a relationship between two issues and without adding functionality to JIRA that is all it is. But it is very useful for providing quick links between issues and navigating. Any action on either issue would be isolated to that issue. Taking your example further I would suggest setting up a…

Sounds wonderful but could you reattach the images not linked off hhttps://extranet.atlassian.com/ so that we can see them? Thanks Phill

The way to solve this problem is to take a copy of the workflow that is currently used for your subtasks. Amend this copy by changing statuses/transitions as appropriate. Then copy the workflow scheme that was originally in use. Swap the workflow associated with subtasks to your new workflow. Apply the new workflow scheme…
