Could be a permission issue. Are you a a JIRA administrator or a JIRA System Administrator? Only System Admins can change SMTP settings! Cheers JIRA System Administrators Ability to perform all administration functions. There must be at least one group with this permission.Note: People with this permission can always log…

Strange. Have you configured those two POP servers? By the way, I was using a screenshot tool like "Snipping Tool"
-
Could you post a screenshot? Normally you would find the option under the "Mail Server" tab ABOVE the POP/IMAP Mail Servers options. Cheers Christian
-
Will those questions get an own "tab" similar to newest, most viewed etc? Anyway, I like the idea. So long, Chris

The backlog is the representation of an underlying filter query. If you want an issue to not appear on the board you have to mark the issue or modify it somehow so that the issue won't be returned by the filter. You could use a flag, a fake version etc. Cheers Christian
-
Mmmh. I would simply try it like this: project=xxx and .... and (assignee not in (development,"r&d") or assignee is empty)
-
You can do the same thing for subtasks. Just create a different workflow, self-reflecting transitions and custom transition screens!
-
Try going to your project admin page an click on the current category.. a popoup should open to let you choose a new category Cheers To edit the project Category, enter the project Administration section by clicking a project name and then click the link next to the Categoryfield (located under the project name). JIRA can…

My next bet would have been the registry settings like Joseph said. We actually had to manually set the UseBasicAuth value.
-
Have you tried to install this fix from Microsoft? That's what helped us... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2123563
-
Just guessing here but maybe you could use the Script Runner plugin to script a custom email https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner
-
You might want to check if your question is a duplicate of that one:https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/53262/jira-transition-subtasks-as-workflow-postfunction-for-parent-issuesCheers Christian

An issue always belongs to ONE project. You could, however, add a project (picker) custom field to your stories to indicate other projects are involved.
-
It's the resolution. You may have set a resolution (manually or via post-function). https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/95752/strike-through-on-resolved-issue Cheers Christian
-
You're welcome. You could accept the answer so others don't have to take a closer look at the question ;-)
-
Look at the board configuration. Probably the new status isn't being associated with a column or the status is not included in the filter underlying the board!
-
I guess you have to think about scripting a custom listener: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Listeners Cheers Christian
-
Hey, have you searched the forum or at least checked Google ("jira export dashboard"...) before you asked that question?:-) Check those questions: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/97302/can-we-export-the-dashboard-results-to-excel-in-jira-4-4-5 https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/82361/jira-dashbaord-export…

Could you explain what you want in more "detailed" way?
-
BTW. This has been asked already: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/130880/how-can-i-filter-epics-by-project-with-greenhopper-6-1-7
-
You can't filter Epics on an agile board with quick filters since the quick filters only apply on the stories in your backlog.
-
Hi Jon, Im's so sorry. Must have slipped my mind. When we were facing this issue (some time ago) we actually had to create another custom field with the same name. Pretty nasty actually.Would that work for you? Sorry again. Cheers Christian
-
IN every project you can define a field configuration scheme. 1. You create two different field configurations (the second as a copy of the first one) 2. In every field configuration you set different default values for the custom field "Where Found"" 3. In your field configuration scheme you select your first field…
-
Absolutely right. I was typing before I thought about it... :-)
-
AFAIK people don't need special permissions to create a rapid board. They just have to be administered to a project (that's been enabled for Greenhopper use). BTW: NEVER give away admin privileges to users! They'll mess up your whole system!!! Cheers Christian
-
As far as I know this is not possible at the moment. There is an auto-transition listener but listeners are disabled for security reasons in OnDemand instances. There's a feature request you can vote for here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-31598 Cheers Christian

It's the version! Try to do a bulk edit and go to the bottom of the screen . There you have a list of non-available options/actions. Expand the list and you will see that version fields can only be editin for issues within the same project!
-
You've got a point. I was thinking the same, thought in other direction, lost that thought again and posted this answer:-)
-
I'm just guessing here but do you have different workflows? I mean you can limit the global edit right on every step in your workflow using properties. Maybe some of the issue are in a status where you are NOT allowed to edit them? Don't know if JIRA checks that limitation (which would be crucial because otherwise you…

Are you downloading it directly via the UPM? Otherwise you could download it directly from this page: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.pyxis.greenhopper.jira/versions After that you should try to enter a valid license key (which isn't the SEN) Administration--> JIRA Agile--> License Details
