After talking to the Atlassian support they told me to upvote and watch this JAC ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ATLAS-124 I'd like to invite all of you to do the same :-) Thanks and have a great day, Christian
-
@Andrew Hammond is there any update for this? Now ATLAS is Home and widely used (or at least should be accoring to Atlassian). Showing user details of people who have long left the company is a compliance nightmare. (and all the other use cases mentioned here). Is there any JAC ticket we could upvote at least? Cheers and…

Hi there, if you don't want to use up your automation execution limits you could also try our app Smart fields for Jira where you can easily store the last comment in a custom text field, which is automatically updated each time a new comment is added :-) https://apps.decadis.net/display/SF4J/Last+comment (disclaimer: I…

Hey @Paul Pasler _Seibert_ just stumbled upon your question here. If you are using the Confluence native app, the functionality exists just like you would expect it (from social media reactions). Cheers, Christian

I agree with the latest comments. It has to be something generic (that ideally has to be translatable too! / don't forget the German speaking market. "Work (item) will not work :-) "). "Task" would stir up a lot of setups where a task is referencing an issue type (which is very common). Not every "item" is a task either.…

Looking great @Ree Kent :-) I'm really happy to see this program evolving!

I guess you can't simply update a single select to a multi select custom field. You could create a new field and migrate the field values individually from your existing field using a bulk issue operation. Quite tedious though... On DC there is an alternative (not out of the box…

Hey, just limit the values to your project using a custom field context. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-custom-field-contexts-1047552717.html Cheers

To be fair, I had some help but I still like the result :-) In the kingdom of Jira's workflow grand, A sequence bar with power it commands. Tracking tasks through their intricate maze, In perfect order, it sets the ways. From "To Do" to "Done," it guides the flow, Each step aligned, it helps work grow. With ops in harmony,…

Or: https://apps.decadis.net/display/JWTSDC/Create+a+sub-task+for+every+user+in+a+field+and+assign+them in case you are working on a newer version of JWT ;-)

Hey @Sherif Mansour , long time no see :-) Thanks for the quick reply and for being open! I'll keep that in mind when setting up our structure.

Happy New Year everyone:-) Hope it's gonna be as good as this challenge! Stay safe, Christian

I don't think that's possible (to have a filter which can be applied to all filter macros at the same time). Workaround could be to open up the copied page with the source editor: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210722/confluence-source-editor?hosting=server&tab=overview Search for all JQL queries and add / replace…

You can manually edit the HTML, get rid of the auto-cursor-target and add a <span></span> instead. Directly save the page and don't touch or edit it again ant the <br> is gone. We use this for example for pages that we include in other pages. This will not help everyone but at least it works :-)
-
Sounds intriguing. Count me in ;-)

Seems like that's the correct JQL. Is Re-work Label a custom label field? Is that a new field and maybe you haven't reindexed after adding the field to Jira? What if you turn around the bit to state "Re-work Label" is NOT EMPTY? Do you get the expected results? Cheers
-
Hi Rhett, I just wanted to quickly jump in and confirm that you will need an app for that. If you were using Jira Workflow Toolbox (JWT) you could accomplish both requirements with a single app though:-) https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/29496/jira-workflow-toolbox?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview Use cases for…

I think there is no real way to cluster users into business units apart from mapping them to groups (or organizations in a Service Desk context). Group management will be a pain though I guess :-) I worked for companies that had full-time admins that were just in charge of group management. Either way I suggest using LDAP…

I suggest looking at this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Set-resolution-to-complete-when-ticket-is-Done-in-next-gen-board/qaq-p/976098 It all depends on the resolution field which you can't set in manually in NextGen projects. :-)

Looking forward to co-hosting this webinar tonight :-)

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-, I was away for quite a while. Thank you so much for mentioning me. Maybe I'll get myself a "honorary champion" patch and put it on my vest ;-)

Hi, I guess you need the calendar power up: https://help.trello.com/article/811-viewing-cards-in-a-calendar-view Cheers, Christian
-
Hi Robert, seems like you are referring to Service Desk Agent licenses. The license tiers are fixed so you cannot combine multiple tiers. Cheers, Christian
-
Hi Veronika, we'd love to but we would need a REST API provided by Atlassian. So currently we don't have a short-term plan for this. Cheers, Christian

Hi Adam, the Watched Issues gadget only shows unresolved issues. You should create your own filter: watcher = currentUser() Regarding the SLAs. Try this page which lists available JQL queries: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/using-jql-queries-specific-to-slas-844628670.html "Time to resolution" =…

Not sure if this is possible ootb. With Script Runner you could try type = story and assignee = currentUser() OR subtasksOf("type = story and assignee = currentUser()")
-
I guess you should have a look at the jiraworkflows table in the DB. There has been another question like this here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Core-questions/Which-table-in-database-saves-the-transitions-which-assign-an/qaq-p/391447 Cheers Christian
-
If you use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.decadis.xtools-for-jira/server/overview, the IDs of every configuration element will be shown next to the name:-)
-
Hi guys, you might want to check out xTools for Jira where you can copy and paste almost all workflow elements and even entire transitions which can really save you some time when dealing with complex workflows:-) https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-37483 Cheers, Christian
-
Well, we have created an app for that :-) And I see a reason for such a feature. When deling with complex post-functions and complex workflows this can be very time-consuming. With xTools for Jira you can copy&paste post functions from anywhere to anywhere. Not only Service Desk workflows. Cheers, Christian
