Hey @Jeff Pignataro , I didn't imply the asking questions here in this "customer" forum was unreasonable. This is a forum where customers ask questions and usually other customers (like me) try to answer them. Sadly, a lot of users, instead of spending a minute or two to do some research, just ask a question because they…

A "top 10" would be a great idea indeed. The forum search functionality isn't the best either. I find myself going back to Google using the site search (site:answers.atlassian.com) all the time...

Hey, I don't want to offend you but have you actually tried to search this forum or use Google before posting your question? These are the first hits for the google search: "jira add watchers during issue creation": (the first one even gives you the righ answer as Jobin did...)…

You can use the script runner plugin which has a built-in script to bulk change resolutions: https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Built-In+Scripts Cheers Christian

As far as I have understood the JIRA Agile release notes multiple active sprints are indeed possible on one board. The difference now is that after the board migration a story can ONLY be in one sprint, which has been different until now...If your filter includes multiple projects or issues in different sprints, the…

Hey, maybe you want to have a look at Jamie's script runner plugin which extends the JIRA JQL search: https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-hasLinkType(linktypename) Cheers

I would take a look at the sprint report. At the beginning of each section (not completed, added...) you have a "view in issue navigator link". I would then export the data and analyze it in Excel...

Depending on how many definitions you have you could split them into seperate pages and include those whenever you need them with the "include page" macro. It's by far not a perfect solution but it works:-) Cheers Christian

A screenshot from of your board configuration I mean...

Can you post a screenshot? ...and comment please. You're adding new answers every time:-)
-
Just as a test, could you map the "verified" status to the "To do" column and see if the issues are visible??
-
To pop up in Plan mode (your backlog) the statuses have to be mapped to the first column in your board. Maybe that's one thing. Other than that, have you enabled any quick filters that might prevent the issues to be shown?
-
You have to choose 3!!! 1= express install 2= custom install 3=upgrade ;-)
-
Have you chosen the install instead of the upgrade option? You should choose to upgrade... Upgrading JIRA on Linux * Download the appropriate 'JIRA 'Linux 64-bit / 32-bit Installer' (.bin) file that suits your operating system (for the new version of JIRA) from theJIRA Download page. * Open a Linux console and change…

Hey, I can't see any attachments...

Hey, you should have a look at the field configuration scheme configured for that project. It maps field configuratiosn (e.g. required fields) and issue types. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Associating+Field+Behavior+with+Issue+Types You have to use different field configurations if a field should be…

sth. like this ... AND (status != closed OR status CHANGED TO closed AFTER startOfDay(-5))
-
Out of the box: No. You can however: * Alter CSS: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Styling+Fonts+in+Confluence * Use headings: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF34/Working+with+Headings * Check this Website for Answers like: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/225554 Cheers

If I get you right you can use transition properties to limit the resolutions: Go to the transition in your workflow editor, edit the properties and add: jira.resolution.exclude = <id> of fixed (probably 1)

Hi, I think something is wrong with your filter. Usually, if an epic is not returned by a filter it will not be shown on a board or in the panel respectively.

We were facing the same problem. What we finally did was dropping the entries in the NOTIFICATIONS table in our database. It looked something like this since we only had to drop the notifications of the person who had initially created the Confluence layout. DELETE FROM NOTIFICATIONS WHERE username = '<user's name>'; After…

It's possible if 5.0.4 has been release during a period when your license was still valid... Cheers
-
Have you tried Google? Just kidding, that's what helped me in the first place. It's a nice gliffiy diagram with links embedded: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Fields+and+Screens Cheers Christian
-
Just be aware that for example reporting capabilities (two-dimensional filter statistics etc.) are extremely limited regarding cascading select fields....
-
You'Re right. As far as I know you can limit the options using contexts but once a context is defined for a project (issue type) you can't use another context on another issue type in that same project. BTW, the question exists on Answers already :-)…
-
You should definitively vote on that issue... It's been around for AGES
-
Not in the GUI. Generally labels are stored in the "label" table...other than that, try to bulk edit your labels... Cheers Christian
-
Well that's the point. You'd need to use the plugin...
-
I thought that this would be the right field: First & Last Resolution User: Shows the user that resolved the issue
