Interesting question. I would need an answer on this as well
-
There is a single label table in your database just displaying the label, the field ID and the issue ID. No reference to a project...

Hey, these are the first Google results: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-5493 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-2167 http://justinit.wordpress.com/2010/12/17/jira-add-watchers-at-issue-creation/ Cheers Christian

You can further group issues by priority. That way you can use the priority to define swimlanes for example...

Maybe Atlassian marketing will jump on this right away but have you tried to look up the information on your own? I mean what do you want people to tell you (from their subjective point of view)? A thorough analysis of the tools? That's what you get when you google Confluece vs. MediaWiki (just the first two)…

He has and I wouldn't qualify this as a question at all. A question usually ends with a question mark which I can't see here. By the way Alok, a "Thank you for any help" doesn't hurt.
-
I'd suggest you check your notification scheme (issue updates). Cheers Christian
-
BTW, I posted a similar question a while back... https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/73346/jira-importers-plugin-but-not-for-jira-imports

I'm afraid that this is not possible at the moment. All I know is that there is a plugin to copy workflows: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jira-workflow-sharing-plugin I guess everybody would like to have the features you're describing... but it's not a simple as that. I mean you can't…

Have you checked the order of your post-functions?
-
And I guess posting the script wouldn't be a bad idea either ;-) Cheers Christian
-
Just guessing but it seems that you are trying to calculate the time based on the system time / creation time? The object you are trying to adress obviously doesn't exist yet. When do you fire that post function? Maybe before the issue has been created and indexed? Try to set the post-function to be the last action...
-
No. Just a comment required validator from the JIRA suites plugin which is already installed on the target instance...

Can't do it with standard JQL. Take a look at e.g. those plugins: * Jamies script runner and scripted JQL-functions https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-linkedIssuesOf(Subquery,linkname) * Search linked issues plugin:…
-
Despite the extra functionality in Greenhopper Epics are "normal JIRA issues". Therefore you can link them any way you want
-
Can't find any screenshot :-) Maybe this plugin can help you: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.confluence.table https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/display/TBL/Table-plus+macro Cheers Christian

Hey, you're referinc the same documentation as in this questions: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/11836/adding-a-custom-field-to-email-but-custom-field-is-not-appearing-in-the-email Does the answer help you? Cheers Christian

I think I got it sorted out. I was testing with a demo user (with my mail address )so I couldn't really evaluate "who" actually got the mail. So if an issue is assigned to "XY" and and I assign the the issue to me user "XY" gets the notification and not me, right?
-
My notification scheme looks as follows: Create issue: Current assignee, custom field (supervisor) Assign issue: Current assignee status change: custom field (supervisor)
-
Just guessing here but the original reporter has to be a valid user in the target project (has to have the permission to create issues)
-
I'm using the custom ware JIRA Utilities plugin to show to display the last comments of an issue: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.jira.utils.customware-jira-utilities Cheers Christian

Hey: 1. Filters and subscriptions are nice but not exactly what people might expect after using this functionality in Bugzilla. But I've thought of that too.. 2. I only have one notification scheme per project but more that 400 components with at least 40 dummy users or dispatch users. That's not an option. 3. Thet…

Hey, that's probably what we have to do. Problem is that the accounts don't exist and the process of getting a new account is kind of tedious where I work right now...
-
Hey, it had been disabled:-)
-
Try using the CMD (CTRL) + z shortcut. It will revoke the auto-formatting
-
Can't comment either. Probably someone has forgotten to grant us the right to do so ... :-)
-
NOt sure if this will be possible. Usually you would use the text gadget : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Adding+the+Text+Gadget but because of a potential security risk this is not possible in OnDemand... Cheers

I'll quote your previous answer and close the other question as a duplicate: rambanam prasad · 14,809 karma · 20 hours ago you can try with permission based on workflow steps, http://www.j-tricks.com/1/post/2011/02/permissions-based-on-workflow-status.html i have't teied that, you can try somthing like this…

Hi, you could work with manual anchors. Even though Confluence should treat every heading as an anchor, try defining customs anchors with the anchor macro. This documentation should help you. http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/Working+with+Anchors Cheers Christian

I'd check that too: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Mail+Queue+Never+Flushed+Automatically
