There is not global setting for this. The only way that I know would be via script and that would only work if you have the server version.
-
Your options are limited with Cloud. However, you could put a mailto link in the footer like this. You can do that in Space Settings -> Look and Feel -> Header and footer. [Provide Feedback|mailto:emailaddress@company.com]

How is this different than what is currently built in to the system? Users can watch a page and when you are done editing the page you hit the publish button in the editor and the watchers get notified of the change?
-
Use shift+enter. That will drop a line without creating a new list (bulleted, numbered, or task) entry. It essentially creates an html line break.

Well, specifically it was written for ScriptRunner, not Code Runner. But you could make it work with a minor tweak. Change line 26 from if(event.issue.key != controlIssue) { to if($event.issue.key != controlIssue) { Then change line 31 from def issue = event.issue; to def issue = $event.issue; I think that should do it.…

You should see that in Cloud as well. When you are in edit mode do you see your picture in the upper right corner of the screen like the below screenshot?
-
It is already enabled. There is no way to turn it off in cloud that I am aware of.

The proper way to do the file protocol link would be like this ... file://///domain.corp/ShareLink/Share Yes, you need five slashes. The first three are for the protocol file:///. The next two are for the UNC path. All the backslashes should be converted to slashes. Here's the caveat this will only work for IE out of the…

That is the new editor you are seeing and my understanding is that right now you only see that if you create a page from the Meeting Notes template. Unfortunately there is no way to change it.
-
Glad that worked for you.
-
If you have ScriptRunner for Jira you can use this JQL issueFunction in linkedIssuesOfRemote("application name", "{Your Confluence Application Link Name}") AND project = {Your Project Key}
-
In cloud go to Profile picture -> Settings. On the page it takes you to there will be a Watches tab.
-
The only way I know how to do this in Cloud would be to do an XML export of the data. Then edit the XML and re-import it back in. It can be a hairy process and is not without risk.
-
Yes. If the PDF was created from an image then there is no text actually in the PDF and hence you don't get anything in search results. I believe in Acrobat Pro there is an option to do OCR on the image and store a text rendition along with the pdf for search-ability. It stores it hidden in the PDF and should be indexed by…

If you want to do it on a space by space basis you can go to Space tools -> Look and Feel -> Sidebar, header and footer you can put in wiki markup in the foot like such ... {path_to_page} Or if you want to do it on a global basis in Confluence Admin -> Look and Feel -> Layouts you can put the macro in the Page Layout…

Ah, got it. This should work. Macro Name: path_to_page Macro Title: Path to Page Macro Body Processing: No macro body Template: ## @noparams#set($breadcrumbs = "")#set($breadcrumbSeperator = " / ")#getBreadcrumbs($content.id)$breadcrumbs##recursive macro to get the path to page breadcrumbs#macro( getBreadcrumbs $contentID…

To piggyback off the idea @Scott Theus gave you could setup a cloud trial and import the documents with the add-on he mentioned. Then you could export them to .xml format and import that into your system.
-
This will put the url on the page wherever you put the macro. Macro Name: page_url Macro Title: Page URL Macro Body Processing: No macro body Template: ## @noparams$settingsManager.getGlobalSettings().getBaseUrl()$content.getUrlPath()

Ah, sorry. I missed the last line in your question.

Did the crash happen immediately after the upgrade? Or has it been working for a bit? Also do you have a backup made before the upgrade? If the system was stable prior to the upgrade and the crashing started happening immediately after I would restore your backup and regroup. If you don't have a backup I would engage…

Yes, PDF and HTML will flatten it, but then it is not easily imported into another Confluence instance.
-
Confluence can import word documents and create pages from them.
-
The log would be your atlassian-confluence.log. What OS are you running on? If it is Windows Server then the path would be C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\Confluence\logs.
-
If you did a fresh install of the same version of Confluence you do not need to copy over C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Confluence. You just need to copy over C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data from the old server. Also, copy over C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Confluence\conf\server.xml from the old server to the new…

When you use the create button you can create new pages in any space. There is a drop down to pick your space. Is it possible that you are allowed to create how-to articles in one space but not the space that has the button on the page?
-
I assume you are referring to an XML export. In that case it indeed would break as it is export the storage format, which is referencing another space.
-
What do you mean by that? The page the macro is on? A page selected in the macro properties?
-
If that's the case then you could do it fairly easily with a user macro. I whipped this up pretty quickly based on the AUI documentation. Macro Name: aui_dialog Macro Title: AUI Dialog Macro Body Processing: Rendered Template: ## Developed by: Davin Studer## Date created: 11/09/2018## @param Open:title=Open Button…

Did you copy over the data from the Confluence home directory? That is where the add-on files are installed.
-
You add-on licenses must match your Confluence licenses. So, if you have a 25 user Confluence license all your add-ons must match that license.
