It would need to be accessible as a drive/mount to the server. If you can present it as a drive/mount the above article should work.

The new Companion app was released with Confluence 7.3. You can get it here. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/administering-the-atlassian-companion-app-958456281.html

Is it possible to reactivate the user long enough to get the report and then deactivate the user again?
-
It looks like the only workaround right now would be to create a page and put the logo on it. Then you can add either a page include or excerpt include macro to the template to pull in the image. Not ideal or friendly, I know, but it is the only workaround that I know of right now.
-
Ah, you are on Cloud! Yes, indeed it looks like you cannot do that currently on cloud. I agree that is not ideal. I'll add my vote to the ticket.

You can put an image in a template. You just can't attach it to the template. The image must be attached to an existing page. I typically recommend having a page per space that works as a document repository. Any time you need to reference the document you link to the library. That way you only have one version. So, in…

This page tells you how to change the storage location. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-relocate-the-attachments-storage-directory-318668908.html

You could use the CQL search REST API like this. Replace {Your Server} with your Confluence server and {Containing Page ID} with the page id that the attachments are attached to. This will get attachments to that page that are created or updated in the last 14 days. https://{Your…

Global template and space template should have the same features. The only difference is the scope in which they are available. Are you seeing this issue in only Chrome or are other browsers affected? Do you have any screenshots that you could share that show the issue?
-
You can use the attachments macro on your page to show the attachments from anther page. Really, the best way to manage documents in Confluence is to single source it. There should only be one version of the document and then you simply link to that one version, or use macros like the attachments macro that can work with…

Like @Dominic Lagger said Scroll PDF Exporter is probably the easiest way to do it. But you can also edit the PDF stylesheet to add in those things. The below link is to Atlassian's documentation on it. https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf615/customize-exports-to-pdf-967337420.html

Which answer is no longer working for you?
-
The new interface does not have the report section but you should be able to filter the issues by dependency. Another option would be to create a dashboard with a filter that shows issues with dependencies.

@Kevin Bui That is what I love about Sanderson's books. All his magic systems are so different but all very compelling and much thought has been put in to make them coherent and consistent. The day Sanderson puts a magic wand in one of his books is the day I will have to find a new favorite author ... ok, maybe that's a…

There is a bug ticket for this in Atlassian's Jira project for Confluence Cloud. You can add yourself to the Affected customers by clicking the "This affects my team" link on the page. CONFCLOUD-67845

@StephanieC Welcome to the community and thanks for calling. Feel free to call lots more. : ) Sounds like you have loads of experience that could be very enriching to others.

Here is the process that we use to copy our production system to our test system, which is basically the same process of moving one production system to a new production system. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/MS-SQL-Backup-and-Restore-Procedure/qaq-p/1249291

My first thought would be that you could create a user macro with a parameter to select a page. That parameter will create a velocity variable that you could pop into some JavaScript to do a REST call to get the contents of the page. From there it would be parsing through the page storage format with JavaScript. I would…

@Gjakova Gjakova That was my lame attempt at dad humor. We do certainly welcome you here, but this community is for those who use Atlassian's tools such as Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, etc. As such I don't think you will find much information with regards to maps of Rome or the Ottoman Empire.
-
Hey @Gjakova Gjakova welcome to the Atlassian Community. Here is my stab at answering your questions. Your first question is truly a multifaceted question. I think though the real crux of understanding the map of Roman Empire and how they were able to achieve all that they did is that you need to understand the Roman…

@Ruiqing Liang I've created a bug report for this issue with steps to reproduce it. So hopefully they will fix it soon.

Not sure what exactly you mean by that. There is an app in the market place called Enhanced User Macro Editor that enhances the macro editor to give you things such as syntax highlighting, line numbers, asynchronous save, and user macro history. To be up front I wrote the app. It doesn't give you anything like a preview…

Congrats you three. Well deserved! Keep up the great work.

Man, I don't think I have just one favorite book. I certainly have favorite authors and series. I guess I would have to say ... * The Bible * Anything by Brandon Sanderson, epsecially ...* Stormlight Archive * Mistborn series * Skyward series * Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan * The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick…

Looking forward to trying it out again.

Love the blob picture!

I would change my title to Chief Executive Overlord.

The above code is a start for a user macro. You have to create the user macro in Confluence Admin -> User Macro. Also, the cloud offering of Confluence does not support user macros. So, you need to have server or data center. Once you create the user macro you can put it on a page just like any other macro. It will show up…

Maybe, but then I would not ACTUALLY be paying for anything. I'd be racking up debt and depriving someone of the payment they deserve. My hunch is, my second wish would then prevent me from actually using the card. Which would effectively negate both wishes and I all would have done is set the genie free ... which is still…

What Confluence log are you getting that info from? What I am seeing the screenshot appears to be based on a URL request. You can pass the querystring parameters os_username and os_password to the confluence server to auto authenticate your request. This is often times used for automation processes.
