If you have a lot of users it can take a LONG time to render the page as is checks for each user against each space if that user can administer the space. In fact it may take so long that it times out.

The SQL query does not need to be integrated into the code for the user macro. They are just showing you two ways to get the data. You can use either the SQL query or the user macro. The user macro should work as is.

Excellent write-up @Bill Bailey. User macros are in my opinion a hidden gem inside Confluence. There are so many cool things you can do with them. Also, clever idea with the sort order. I would probably have over engineered it with JavaScript. :)

Another option would be the Markdown Macro for Confluence. I tried it out and it seemed to handle code blocks. It's a free app.
-
In the "+" menu in the editor there is an option for this. See the below screenshots.

Looks like maybe you are experiencing this bug. CONFSERVER-56218
-
Yes, the page properties macros provide key/value pairs of information about the page and thus should be unique.
-
Hmmm. I've tried this on my 6.8.1 and 6.12.2 environments and do not see that behavior. Do you have the Confluence Source Editor app? If you don't it's made by Atlassian and free. It lets you edit the storage format code behind a page. If you do I would look at the storage format behind your code block macro and see is…
-
What version of Confluence are you using? I have tried using the code block macro and your text above in both my Confluence Server and Confluence Cloud environment and I don't see the behavior you are seeing.
-
Have you looked into the page properties and page properties report macros?
-
Hmm. It replaces inside table on my version (6.8.1). What version of Confluence are you on?
-
Did you mean Scriptrunner for Confluence? Is this a question about Confluence or Jira? Also, user macros use velocity, not Groovy, so I'm unsure how you are trying to use ScriptRunner with a user macro if this is indeed for Confluence. What date specifically do you want to show as relative?

When I was in high school I worked at Taco Bell. Often times after working I would dream all night about making tacos. I would always be behind in the orders and struggling to keep up. I usually woke up exhausted having "worked" all night long.
-
When you create the ticket that way it also auto links the page.
-
Ah! Cool, that's totally a better answer than mine. : )

Confluence cloud does not support user macros.
-
You are correct. If you put in 1 it will apply to the first. If you put in 2 it will apply to the second. Ideally I could just have the user macro have a body and put the task report macro inside and you would not need to specify which one to target as the user macro would target the task report macros inside it. However,…
-
How about something like this? I tried creating a user macro that you could embed a task report in the body, but the task report macro fails to load correctly if you put it inside a user macro. This is the compromise you just need to specify which task report macro on your page you are targeting. Macro Name:…

Hmm, I wouldn't try to do it with Tomcat. I'm not sure how much success you will have with that. I would try it with a reverse proxy in front of Jira. There are good reasons to do this anyway if you ever want to run Jira over SSL. I've personally found that Tomcat doesn't handle SSL as well as an Apache, Nginx, or IIS…
-
It sounds to me like you are creating pages with ConfiForms. Is that correct? If that is the case it seems like an indexing issue to me.
-
Are you saying to want to query up pages created between two dates, or you want the time in between the creation of the pages returned in the JSON?
-
If you create the Confluence page first you can highlight a section of your page and you should see two icons show above the highlighted text. The icon on the right will create a Jira issue and put a jira macro right in the spot that you have the highlighted text.
-
There is an app for Confluence Server that does this. Custom Space User Management (CSUM)
-
Here are a couple options * You could move the page to a space that allows anonymous viewing access and then send them the link. If you want to see it in the original space too you would just create another page in that space and do a page include from the space that allows anonymous access. You can't do it the other way…
-
You are correct that this is not how the editor works. There is no way to make it do what you are asking. You could work around it with good ol' CSS like below, but as for having the editor do it that unfortunately is a no go. table tbody tr :nth-child(2),table tbody tr :nth-child(3),table tbody tr…

Are your page properties macros on the same page or different pages? Would you be able to post some screenshots of how you have it set up. That would help towards figuring out what is not working.
-
If you have access to the database this is where they are stored ... if for some reason @Vasiliy Zverev's suggestion of adding the dev license doesn't work. select * from BANDANA where BANDANAKEY = 'atlassian.confluence.user.macros'
-
The steps below should work. * Insert your anchor macro and give a name. * Highlight your text that will link to the anchor and either click the link button or hit Ctrl+K. * On the Advanced pane in Link box put in #{your anchor name}.

In Confluence Administration -> Custom HTML. If you put this into the "At end of the BODY" section it will reverse the primary button color. <script type="text/javascript">function setUpdateButtonPrimary(){ setTimeout(function () { AJS.$('#rte-button-publish').removeClass('aui-button-primary');…

As think about it from a design standpoint you would probably want to persistently store the hashes of all your attachments in the database so that you can compare quickly against the has of the attachment being uploaded. It would probably be a drain on the system to do a realtime scan to get the hashes of all the current…
