If you copy a page that uses the old editor using the copy functionality in the ellipsis menu it brings up the old editor ... it's a work around I guess.

That is correct and typically it is easier to handle with groups. That way if you need multiple people to have the same restrictions it is simply a matter of adding them to a group rather than having to edit restrictions on multiple pages.

One option, and the only one I know about, is Karma for Confluence.

For Confluence you can get that under Confluence Administration -> Administration -> Audit Log. The URL would be http(s)://{your server}/admin/auditlogging.action For Jira it is under Jira Adminjstration -> System -> System Support -> Audit Log. The URL for that would be http(s)://{your server}/auditing/view

There is not automatic way to do this. You would probably need to program an app for this purpose or use Confluence's REST to update the page based on the Excel document.

Have you taken a look at the page properties and page properties report macros? You could create a template for individuals to create pages and fill in page properties for the various systems. All that data can then roll up automatically onto another page using the page properties report macro.

You can certainly attach a published file to a page, but Confluence will not preview it like it can with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files.

Is this for Confluence Server or Cloud? If it is Cloud, and I suspect it is because you mentioned "Code Snippet", then you are probably creating a page with the new editor. As of right now the new editor's code block does not have code coloring.

In your user macro definition change the Macro Name to something other than tasks-report-macro. That is the built-in macro and we are creating a macro that wraps around it so it needs a different name than the built-in one.

Another option would be to do it with ScriptRunner. You could create a listener script that would fire off on issue creation that could then scan through your Confluence system using the REST API and create links to the pages that match your logic.

What do you mean by the question? Do you want the space list at the bottom to only show certain spaces? Or do you want all the activity feeds under Discover and My Work to only show activity from certain spaces?

Unfortunately, that's not possible with the new editor right now. Are you still able to create pages with the old editor? If so I would use that.
