Vote for https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/GRV-62

I currently have a support ticket due to the fact that most users can't be found using @mentions. They advise a full reindex :-(
-
There's no point in creating a bug against GH because it's not their code. I agree it's probably a different issue, but can you create the bug in https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/GRV.
-
This link is added by script runner... can you check https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/GRV-256 and see if that's your issue (I don't think it is), if not create a new issue including the name of the board and screenshots and whatever. Should you want to,…

Yeah, as Renjith says, only users can be watchers, not DLs. Do you mean something other than watchers, eg you put a large group like jira-users in a group field that was used in a notification scheme?
-
Oh, this is ondemand? In that case forget my answer.
-
Just a partial answer, but if you put this js somewhere, eg web resource context or announcement banner, it will do most of what you want: AJS.$("#dashboard ul.vertical").hide()AJS.$("#dashboard-content").css("position", "static") It doesn't work quite right though, the frame behind is still in the old position. Also you…

You won't be able to use cfvalues, you have to use issue.getCustomFieldValue(CustomField) etc. Personally, I don't think it's great practice to have two CFs with the same name associated with the same issue. Makes searches hard for one thing.
-
Should work fine. Are the links being modified on the screen for the action that the validator happens in? If so that doesn't work, due to a JIRA "design failure"... There is a possible workaround…
-
Describe in English how it should work, ie, no links, or what link type? Then test the two parts of the OR separately. Also can you tell us how it's not working.
-
Not tested but will be something like: def links = issueLinkManager.getOutwardLinks(issue.getId())!links || links*.issueLinkType*.name.unique() == ["Blocks"]
-
ComponentAccessor.getWorkflowManager().getWorkflow(issue).getDescriptor().getAction(transientVars['actionId']).getMetaAttributes()That will give you the extra properties you define in the workflow, if that's what you mean. That's just sample code, I wouldn;t actually write it like that.
-
No reason, next major release will have the ability to point to a file or use an inline script. Basically everything will be a built-in script, but one of them will be a CustomRunWhateverYouWant type thing. The simple validator has slightly more logic, in that it handles the validation error.
-
Put that logic into the script. Rather than adding the field name to the workflow, in your script you can say "if workflow or issue type is X, then initialise date Y". Alternatively you can read status or transition properties from your script.

If it's against policy no doubt you have a corporate proxy. Therefore don't set up those tools with the proxy information, and it won't get out to the internet. There are other places it will try to access the internet, eg confluence feeds, html-includes, jira news gadget, etc etc.
-
Yes... the yaml file is only requred for stuff that you configure through the UI, eg listeners. Built-in scripts are just found through classpath scanning, so they only need to be present (with the right package, currently).
-
Not just inline, either inline or file. New built-in scripts can be added too. There are examples here: https://bitbucket.org/Adaptavist/scriptrunner-samples/src/d6e4a04c5d1d1721a270168ed79ed8f604079c79/jira/test-plugin/?at=master The admin built-in script example is…

Hi Rina... Docs are here: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/creating-a-script-plugin.html Also https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/DevEnvironment.html has been worked, which is a precursor to creating script plugins.

I don't think you can allow users to add properties to their public profile without giving everyone jira admin rights. But there's not that much point as IIRC they're not displayed anywhere useful. Would be better to pull that info from your corporate ldap if you can too. For the other part of the question, give the group…
-
I've never made it do anything useful, although only tried it twice. I think it might be like the "close doors" button in a lift (elevator). Makes you feel a bit better, but ultimately it's not wired in.
-
You need to post a stacktrace at the least.
-
You can't reliably fix it given that cf names are not unique, but it should be possible to store a canonical version of the query, but display it in a more human-readable way... It's also possible to visit every clause in every query, and change the names there. I did that for my script for renaming a user, and it was…
-
This surprises me... you'd think internally the filter would be stored with the ID of the custom field, but it's not...
-
Using "not" with epic links only seems to return issue where the epic link is not empty. So you have to do something like this: not ("Epic Link" = ABC-3769) or "Epic Link" is empty and (backlog query)

You can edit atlassian-jira/logout.jsp and remove the section: <p> <ww:text name="'logout.desc.line2'"> <ww:param name="'value0'"><a href="<%= request.getContextPath() %>/login.jsp"></ww:param> <ww:param name="'value1'"></a></ww:param> </ww:text> </p>

Greenhopper 5.7.x seems to cause all kinds of problems with custom field module types in plugin... what version do you have?
-
The examples were mostly for select/multiselects... unfort you were using a collection of Versions. Here would be where to look: https://developer.atlassian.com/static/javadoc/jira/5.2/reference/com/atlassian/jira/project/version/Version.html
-
Just FYI, you don't need to write it all on the same line... the condition box will expand. Eg you might find this easier to read (I do): if (isUserMemberOfRole('Managers')) { return true}// no versions specified if (! cfValues['Planned For']) { return true}if (["trunk", "main"].intersect(cfValues['Planned For']*.name)) {…

You need to configure the displayName attribute in your LDAP server... I don't think embedded crowd has the facility to create the display name from a template. If displayName in your ldap server is "first last" perhaps you can persuade the ldap admins to add a new attribute which is in your preferred format, then you use…

BTW Eva, I don't think you need to close questions because the answer was accepted... there may be a better answer to come! Closing is just for spam and duplicates etc. @Jeremy - should that option really be in the "close" dialog?
