No problem. Take the linked file and put it on a file on your jira server calling it whatever. Install the script runner plugin, edit the workflow, add a post-function, choose "run script", enter the path to the file. Post back if you have any problems...

It can be done with a simple groovy script placed as a post-function on the Start Progress transition, ie: http://pastebin.com/9S8BisbH That example uses the user doing the transition to add the comment, you could use another user if you prefer. Alternately there are probably ten other plugins that could do it too. (Also…

That doesn't really make sense, a <button> element should not submit the form. There must be more to this than what you have put in the question.
-
AFAIK you can but the answer is so different I recommend you ask a new question and use the relevant tags, so the ScriptRunner cloud people can answer.
-
What have you tried so far? Do you want all internal comments copied, or just the last one that the developer gave?
-
Isn't a better solution just to use a date-time custom field? Failing that you can use a DateFormat in a simple scripted validator as @Vasiliy Zverev suggests.

Like *all* plugins it has full access to the db, and to the server that jira is running on (as the user jira runs as). I frequently use the script runner to pop up an xterm on my workstation where I can do what I want on the jira server (as the user running jira). Put it like this: it can do everything a plugin can do, but…

Where is the post-function in the list of post-functions? If towards the top, it should work. Can you find your atlassian-jira.log and see if there are any errors...

Slight alteration: def cfFuncDate = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName("Ready for Func Test")def funcDate = issue.getCustomFieldValue(cfFuncDate)if (!funcDate) // if this field is empty, then the current date is set for this field issue.setCustomFieldValue(cfFuncDate, date)

I'm a bit confused... I don't see currentUser as being available in the script binding there. I was going to suggest using: componentManager.jiraAuthenticationContext?.user?.displayName

I appreciate the mention of the plugin, but really, this is a (good) question about how to query over working day ranges with JQL. You may get more eyes on this if you ask it as just a plain "jql" question. AFAIK there is no easy way to do this with JQL (maybe not even a hard way). For a first port of call I would vote for…

If you have SciptRunner you can use https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html#_addedaftersprintstart. You have to put in the board name, but not the sprint name.

Agree with Nic, url rewriting is probably best done in apache, but I don't see why you can't use the tuckey filter. Modify web-inf/urlrewrite.xml - docs here: http://urlrewritefilter.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/doc/manual/3.2/index.html This example is more or less what you want, just change the host instead of the…

getFormValue returns a string, it looks like an integer though. getValue() should return an actual priority object which you can call .getName() on.
-
I think so... but I would just paste it in to the box where you currently have it, but without the public blah() {...}
-
It should be a script not a method. Looks like you are just defining a method but nothing will call that.
-
Did you apply the behaviour to a project? Can you paste relevant screenshots?

Fisheye is slow slow slow... we always get timeouts when looking at the source tab on the project pages. You used to be able to bump up the timeout in the fisheye configuration page in jira, but I can't find that option now...

yes please

Sorry, I meant to post the link: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/29953319/scriptrunner-script-hanging-up-issue-viewing. Is it the same company? If so please can we work through the one question, because it takes quite a while to get my brain in gear and think about the problem, and it just disperses the…

Does this refer to the same script as Scriptrunner script hanging up Issue Viewing ? It's a very similar question.
-
In both cases you should be using == not = . Every and Any are diofferent as you can imagine. In the 2nd closure in the first line you want "it", not issue. In the second line should be == (again). If you get it a bit more correct then we can probably help further.

The driver is correct, and the ping query is present too.

2.1.7 is not compatible with 5.0... use the latest compatible version with 5.0, or uninstall, then install from UPM.

What's the contents of myscript.groovy?

Kostas is right on the condition script... it might work for you but it will also return true if the select contains something like "goldeneyes" - case notwithstanding. It's because the send mail function starts a new thread, then pauses and sends the mail, to deal with a jira bug:…
-
You could try a god-awful hacky workaround. Immediately fter the send email function, add a custom script post-function, which just contains: Thread.sleep(700) obviously this will delay the transition by half a second, but it should work.

Not sure if that "Jamie" is this one, but personally the sum total of donations I have received since 2007 is $15, minus paypal's 10%. Not quite enough for the 911. I am feeling disillusioned for a bunch of reasons, but the money aspect is not one I don't think.

Come to think of it, nearly all my career has been "clean up the mess made by other people". Part of that I blame jira, it makes it easy to do the wrong thing often.
