Hi Alain, The plist is saved in the "binary plist file" format for performance. This is only properly editable by certain text or dedicated editors. If your editor handles it then you can search & replace for the exact replacements. That should, in theory, work. If not there are two options: 1. open each broken bookmark -…

Hi, This is not currently possible but is a great suggestion. Please file tickets for Mac and Windows to request the functionality. Thanks, Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Fernando, The folder name is shown if: a) you open a folder that doesn't have a bookmark b) you haven't edited a bookmark's name If you bookmark the repositories you can rename them without it affecting the underlying folder's name. The custom name will also be shown in the tab. I'd also recommend checking out the…

Hi Jeramy, The Bitbucket Server registration option works without using a web browser. Unfortunately we don't have any other alternatives to Bitbucket Cloud at present. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

We're shipping 3.0.17 shortly, I'll make sure it's updated everywhere. Thank you for the note.

To clarify a bit: "filter with weekly scheduled session" We'll create appropriate Jira filters for each type and review each filter's results for triage and commenting at least once per week with a scheduled session on our team's calendar.

Hi Basappa, Please try signing out of Bitbucket in your browser and then proceeding with the Sourcetree registration flow. If you still encounter an issue let me know what happens and I'll advise further. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Robert, Branch filtering for the sidebar is a feature we don't currently have. I don't know the ticket offhand but I suspect there's one you can vote on and track in our public issue tracker. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Justin, Our apologies for the hassle. A couple suggestions to try: 1. delete and re-add your Bitbucket account from Preferences/Options 2. if you are using SSH, verify the key is loaded by agent (ssh-add -l) 3. alternatively, switch from SSH to HTTPS and see if authentication calms down Brian Ganninger Senior Mac…

Hi Jim, We moved away from the license file in early 2016 in favor of an online registration. The problem you're running into is that Tower is hijacking the sourcetree:// URI which we use not only for cloning but for other uses such as the OAuth authorization callback. The options that come to mind are: 1. see if there's a…

Hi Stanley, Our apologies for the hiccup; we'll need a few more details to provide guidance. * what platform are you on? * what version of Sourcetree are you using? * are you using SSH or HTTPS for authentication to a repository or performing REST actions like listing your repositories? Brian Ganninger Senior Mac…

Hi Thierry, There isn't a way to 'force' it to do so. We need to build such functionality into the app and there are technical challenges around doing currently. You can vote on this ticket and watch it for future updates. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Ralph, In order to provide assistance we need additional information. * What platform are you on? * What version of Sourcetree are you using? * Are you using SSH or Basic Auth (user/pass) for your connections? Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi, It's not Sourcetree that prompted you - it was macOS Mojave. You'll need to visit Security & Privacy in System Preferences most likely and see what particular category it's been disabled in. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Garrett, They are pulled from a remote service if it supports them. In the case of GitLab, we are looking for the "avatar_url" that's returned. If an icon isn't found in the cache, and doesn't return from the server, Sourcetree then looks for an in-repo icon that matches the following: * name is "icon" or "logo" *…

Hi Johannes, If the username if specified in the remote for a particular repository you can edit those in the Remotes section of the Repository Settings for it. If you want to delete an account entirely you can do so in the Accounts section of Sourcetree's settings/preferences. Hope that helps. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac…

Hi Christopher, What version of Sourcetree are you using? What platform are you on? Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi, Thanks! You can add the file name pattern (package-lock.json) to the ignored list in Sourcetree's diff settings and it will no longer preview the contents. Hope that helps. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi, The "description" column is sized too large. Scroll to the right and you'll see the other columns. Resize the "description" column to be smaller and you should be good to go. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Ahmed, Please file a ticket in our public ticket tracker about how a repository's remotes aren't updating as expected with the notes you listed here. This allows us to triage and prioritize and other users can search and vote on it as well. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Boris, Sourcetree's OAuth permissions for all services (not just GitHub) are intentionally narrowly scoped. We don't want authorization for actions we aren't using in the app. The request for private repos is a good one and should be filed in our public trackers (Mac and Windows) Cheers!
