Hi @wakefly_cbass, Thank you for filing the detailed ticket, we'll take it from here 😀 As a very small team we're not able to provide ETAs on any particular ticket or release but I'll make sure the appropriate folks are aware. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @JeonMinWoo, This isn't related to Sourcetree at all AFAICT, it's related to whatever hosting service (presumably Azure DevOps?) your company is using and the permissions involved. You'll need to work with the administrator and that product to narrow what's going on and how ST is involved. We'll be here to help once…

Hi @GUNDETO, The latest versions of Sourcetree don't use an embedded IE to register, it uses your default browser. Please make sure you're installing the latest. After that you'll just need to register by logging in with a Bitbucket Cloud or Server account. Hope that helps. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @Bruce Zhang, Those are harmless debug logs and we are aware of the change. It does not impact the usage of the app. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @lucbloom, Please vote on or file a ticket (Windows, Mac) with details on your use case so we can gauge demand when prioritizing items in the roadmap. Thanks, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @Navneet Kumar Jamidar, There isn't any explicit support for SAML workflows and this isn't a tested workflow for us currently. Sourcetree communicates over REST to GitHub for access to repository listings using either OAuth or Basic Auth (user/password.) Please file a ticket (Windows, Mac) with details or vote on an…

Hi @Bruce_Holm, There's a menu item in the app under Help for "Get Started with Sourcetree" which takes you to this site. It's also available as the first result in a general web search. Hopefully this helps you a bit on your journey. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @Jeremy Wiley, Sourcetree does not include any proxy configuration support in the UI. You should be able to manually edit your global config to do so per this StackOverflow answer. ST respects your global and per repository settings as it uses your default command line environment to perform actions. Cheers, Brian…

Hi @Bahman Engheta, Commit icons are driven by Gravatar, not hosting service account avatars. Having this as a fallback when that's unavailable for any reason is a great request to file in our public trackers (Mac, Windows) for us to get it on the roadmap. Thanks for the feedback. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer,…

I'll ping QA to take a look and then circle back with the code next week.

Hi @mwr-stats, In 10.12 Apple made changes to the way SSH works, introducing some instability from our perspective. You'd actually see the same error on the command line with Git. What you can do is use ssh-add -l to check what keys are loaded already by the agent and ssh-add ~/.ssh/your-key to add any keys the agent…
-
Hi @Frank Zerangue, There isn't a way to do so from the Sourcetree UI currently. Please vote on an existing ticket or file a new one in our public tracker as that allows all users to provide feedback and helps us prioritize for future updates. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
HI @Kabutak, Thank you for your feedback. The best way to communicate these are via votes, comments, or new tickets if necessary in our public trackers. That said, we are intentionally streamlining the UX and unifying them across all platforms - having additional settings and maintaining a therefore exponentially complex…

It's in the footer of every page on sourcetreeapp.com.

https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/download-archives 2.7.4 is the last 10.12 compatible release available on that page; it will update to 2.7.6 and no further. I'll ping the web folks to find out why 2.7.6 isn't present in the list.

Uninstalling the app doesn't affect the stored settings. You'll want to remove and re-add via Options -> Accounts and see if the problem still exists.
-
Hi @Michael Hylton, A few questions: - What version of Sourcetree are you using? - What platform are you on? - If you remove and re-add the account does the problem persist? Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi suresh.ningappa@mokapos.com, This isn't specified by Sourcetree, it's coming from Git. It sounds like the branch might be out of sync and pushing causes it to be resolved with a merge (this is often how out of sync issues are resolved in a rebase) Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @kongames, I'd recommend checking out our excellent getting started documentation. There may be a few minor differences as we've improved the app but hopefully it's enough to begin your code management journey. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @Shaun Cummins, What version of Sourcetree are you using? What platform (OS) are you on? Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @pierreborg, I'm not quite clear on what you mean by "click on Commit". - Are you clicking the Commit toolbar item, or the Commit button in the File Status view? - Is the file marked as changed? - Does committing the text file via CLI work and this is specific to ST? Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this ASAP.…

Hi @edmechem, I'm not sure why the update feed isn't accessible when you're checking for an update, it typically is and would show the "up to date" dialog instead. The latest release available is 3.1.2 but it requires 10.13+. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @ta946, There isn't a way to stage similar changes across multiple files in Sourcetree via the UI. You might be able to whip up a CLI script if the task is too tedious or you find yourself doing it more than every great once in a while. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @Hanuman Kachwa, This is the first report we've had like this that I'm aware of. Please file a ticket in the public tracker and we'll triage it further there. This allows other users to vote, comment, and watch and for us to be able to see where it might fit in the roadmap. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @Mackmilan Selva, Bitbucket Server is for self-hosted repositories. To use "bitbucket.org" you'll want to choose Bitbucket Cloud, Atlassian's remote hosting service, and login via that workflow. Hope that helps, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @Aydin Gungordu, Please file a ticket with these details in the appropriate tracker (Windows, Mac) so we can triage there, other users can provide feedback, and we can prioritize for a future update. Thank you for the report. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @engineer sw, Please file a ticket in each of our public trackers (Windows, Mac) which allows users to comment, vote, and watch. This helps us know what to prioritize in future updates. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @Hatem Sahli, This guidance is for the 1.x release series of Sourcetree and no longer applies. Registration is handled during the welcome wizard when first launching a more recent release. Hope that helps. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

@Stefan Kamphuis - thank you for the report, we've got auto-scrolling implemented for this on Windows (it's not 'free' unfortunately as it is on macOS) in the next major update.
