Ah, this is on Windows. Let me check if this is a known issue.

That list does scroll automatically using macOS' default scrolling logic. Just 'hold' your drag at the edge of the bottom/top and it will move row by row until you move it again and place it at your destination. Let me know if a video would help.

Hi @Stefan Kamphuis, That's definitely not how it's supposed to work. A few questions: 1. What version of Sourcetree are you using? On what platform? 2. What are you unable to do in the UI that requires editing the XML file? Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @John, What you're describing sounds a bit like Git LFS with a custom backend/adapter to use your chosen destination instead of a hosting service. Hope that helps, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @sangeeta, Please file a bug report using the appropriate public tracker (Windows, Mac) and we'll triage it there. Thanks, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @emil.lewandowski, That particular discussion devolved over time and was closed officially with this comment. We're tracking the performance issue (as shown) in relation to the build status column [SRCTREE-5306]. Fixing that requires a bit of rearchitecting of the history view and is on our roadmap for a future update…

Hi @Patrick T. Capwell, Unfortunately we had to disable the registration methods used by prior Sourcetree releases with the 3.0 release. The licenses on "My Atlassian" are deprecated as well, they existed for the 1.x timeframe. The only solution is to be on a system with .NET 4.7.2 and to use the most recent update to ST…

Hi @A, This is harmless debug logging related to us recently disabling the in-app surveys. It will be removed in a future update. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
@kraybit, glad to hear you found the root cause. Thanks for updating and sharing the solution!

Hi @kraybit, We haven't had any reports of this before. The 'status' command is used with Mercurial to get the current information about the repository. The error shown is coming directly from Mercurial. Does it still occur if you switch from "Embedded Mercurial" to "System Mercurial" in the preferences? Brian Ganninger…

Hi DEVAMIT@2021, A few questions to help us get the root of the problem: * What version are you using? * On what OS? * This is using Flow, correct? * Is it with Git or Mercurial? Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @Steve Wright, Our apologies for the hassles. Deleting and re-adding the Bitbucket Server account on the user's machine(s) should be sufficient to do so. If that's not the case, please ping me and I'll provide additional steps to confirm it's all gone in the next try. Thank you for your patience. Brian Ganninger…

It's not currently supported by Windows but we do have it on the list.
-
They are not supported as a registration option. They are supported as accounts.
-
Hi @Julian Olavegoya, This StackOverflow answer is a great summary of what you're encountering. Instead of the terminal commands you should be able to use Sourcetree to perform the necessary steps 🤞Hope that helps a bit. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

Hi @fjohns, Unfortunately I'm not quite clear on the problem but hopefully this might help a bit… "Reset to embedded git-lfs" in the Git preferences is for managing the installation of that particular component. You don't need to use it unless there's a specific version of git-lfs you prefer. Enabling LFS for a particular…

Hi @Bart, We've had a couple reports about this for GitLab and QA is investigating. I'll provide an update as soon as we have one. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @anna_kazakevitch, What version are you using? In 3.0 we needed to redo the Bitbucket OAuth authentication (which now supports browser based login) and it broke prior releases that need to sign in for an account inside the app to authorize access. Our apologies for the hiccup; we recommend upgrading to the latest and to…
-
Hi @GJCHET, A few questions: 1. Are you using the app on macOS or Windows? 2. Are you using a Bitbucket Cloud or Bitbucket Server account? (they behave differently) 3. Are you shown any errors? Thanks, Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @Ke Wang, A few questions: 1. What version of the app are you using? 2. What OS are you on? 3. Are there any errors shown when you try to clone? Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree

On macOS there's a known issue with supporting the new format for Azure DevOps URLs which we're investigating for the next update.
-
Hi @Armstrong Li, Please file feature requests in our public trackers (Mac, Windows) so that other users can watch, vote, and comment on it. This helps us prioritize work for future updates. Thanks! Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @kush jadia, You can use File -> New -> Clone from URL to directly enter and perform a clone. Or if you added an Azure DevOps account, you can easily browse and clone remotes repositories in our UI. Hopefully that clarifies a bit. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @Eliah Ninyo, There isn't a way to do this in Sourcetree's UI currently. I'd recommend using a pre-commit hook to ensure that wherever the user commits from they are checked. You'd want to have the hook's script do a search for the prefix and fail if it's not found, showing a URL for creating one in the error message.…
-
Hi @Richard Cane, They aren't related, the Windows and Mac apps are entirely different 😀 That said, the performance spike is related to enabling Pipelines most likely, as you noted. Disabling the Build Status column should drop the performance impact down. We know this isn't good and plan on addressing in a future release.…
-
Hi @Jeff Lu, I would recommend going back to commit 1 (double click on the commit in History), creating a new branch, and then cherrypicking commit 8 onto that new branch. Hope that helps. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @Ivan Mitrić, We've not encountered this so far but QA is going to attempt to reproduce and I'm started a discussion with the Bitbucket Cloud team as well. We're sorry for the hiccup and appreciate your patience as we get to the root of this. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi @thistlillo, I'm sorry to report that prior registration methods for Sourcetree and our Bitbucket Cloud login (before 3.0) are no longer compatible. Unfortunately there's no workaround available, it's a technical limitation on our side. Existing accounts and installations are unaffected. Our apologies for the hassle.…
-
Hi @nhada7, There is not a workaround, we are behaving correctly. The sourcetree:// URI is meant for our app, not others, to use. If SmartGit is the problem, you'll need to contact their support team and/or remove the app if they don't provide a way to respect other applications' functionality. Brian Ganninger Principal…

Hi @Shilpi Narang, There isn't functionality for this currently but you can vote on/watch appropriate tickets in our public trackers (Mac, Windows) for it. These help signal what functionality the community is asking for as we prioritize our roadmap. Brian Ganninger Principal Developer, Sourcetree
