Hi @23creativeACT - from my understanding, you want a board that contains Epics that you can map to custom columns. Some things here: * Your workflow is on a per-project basis, you can have 1 workflow on many projects * All issues in that project follow the same workflow * There is a due date field that you can set instead…

Hello @Christopher.peterson * Some of these features changes per version of Jira Server * Do you want the user to be an Admin and control everything? * Do you have any specific permission schemes for projects? (you can find this in Projects > Project Settings > Permissions) * Is your instance managed per group or per…

Great topic and it's awesome to hear about everyone's different routines, thanks everyone for sharing! Here in the midwest, my fitness scheduled is soley based on seasons since it goes from -20 to 100 degrees within 3 months 🤣 In the spring/summer/fall, I am usually in the gym about 3 times a week for an hour each doing 30…

@Gonzalo Jimenez Gil per documentation about jira-server (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/automating-jira-application-backups-938847675.html), there is no way to change the default directory. This feature was deprecated a while back. "If you are using Jira 5.1.0 or earlier, the Use Default Directory will…

@Monika Brandström You could use a plugin like this one, it works for me! * https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/31601/search-linked-issues?hosting=server&tab=overview Once installed, the query should be something similar to: * issue in parentIssuesFromQuery("project = PROJKEY AND issuetype = Sub-Task") *…

Hi @Olle Friman - there was a similar question asked a while back (Previous Question about Space Owners) but the resolution is performing a SQL query or building a macro. It appears that Confluence doesn't have 'owners'. Here is a SQL script that works on my version: SELECT spaces.SPACENAME, spaces.SPACEKEY,…

@[deleted] / @Miks - putting two status in the backlog does not create two backlogs for each status. You will have to create quick filters to identify status = 'design_todo' and another status 'dev_todo'. If you want to have to completely separate backlogs, you should create two boards and map the status for each type…

The first link is a free app for the server version, so yes!

@Marv Maven - technically this latest security advisory is not affecting your Jira v5.2, but your version of Jira is also unsupported by Atlassian Support End of Life Policy, you can see that policy here - https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/atlassian-support-end-of-life-policy-201851003.html Please note there was a…

@Wayne_Poitras - I'm on Jira Server v8.3.1 with Portfolio for Jira 3.9.0 and I cannot edit the status either. I believe this is intentional as portfolio is aggregated data across one or many projects/boards/ect and status is changed through jira workflow & transitions, not as a field. When your issues move through the…

@Santhosh Kumar r - there are some free options on the Atlassian Marketplace here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=server&moreFilters=free&product=confluence&query=sso If you already have a user directory, you can configure LDAP using this…

@Edward Sigamani do you see the following that I've highlighted? The column MIN / MAX would limit the number of cards you can have in any column at any time. Are you talking about hours and not cards? Thanks
-
@robert Mugabuhamye - I understand adding additional fields to the card view... that's not the issue. I'm asking specifically about the 3 fields at the bottom of the card. The article you referenced me to changes the values above the fields I am questioning. I'm talking about the issue type, priority and hours section…
-
@Edward Sigamani go to your Board > Configure > Columns and you can set a MIN / MAX for each column. You need to set your Column Constraint = 'Issue Count' before you can set the MIN / MAX

Are you on Cloud or Server? I am on Server and I can see it in Administration > Issues > Fields > Custom Fields. Thanks.

@James Bassett - ORDER BY "Epic Link" ASC

Create a backup from the old system. Then on your new system go to Admin > System > Restore System, then select the backup from the old system. Note: The restore clears your entire new system that you are restoring to. If you have data in the new system, it will be erased.

Hi @Mahesh Kallepalli - I've done a few migrations and these detailed steps worked each time: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-jira-applications-to-another-server-938846962.html Be sure to backup your jira instance and database prior to doing anything! This way you can always revert back. If you…

@hafsa hsina - since you say implementation, I'd assume you are talking about Server Based instead of Cloud Based. * Lastest Confluence Version: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/download * For system requirements, see here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/server-hardware-requirements-guide-30736403.html *…

@Rajesh Radhakrishnan - is your issue resolved?
-
@Paul Farrell - did this resolve your issue? If so, please accept the answer. I don't believe this is a feature today.

Awesome @Reneesh Kottakkalathil glad it worked. Please accept the answer if you can.

@Reneesh Kottakkalathil - try this SELECT project.Id, project.pname, project.pkey, projrole.PROJECTROLEID, projrole.ROLETYPEPARAMETER FROM [jiradb].[dbo].[project] as project JOIN [jiradb].[dbo].[projectroleactor] as projrole ON project.Id = projrole.PID Order by pname ASC If you want to pull in project leads just add…

Any timeline on when HIPAA compliance will be supported in Jira Cloud? We are excited to migrate from server to cloud once this feature is available!
-
@Paul Farrell - can you see the Hierarchy in Portfolio, should look something like this: Is your Hierarchy set to view Epic level? Also - looking into Fields, there is also no option for Epic Link on my end... that must not be a feature. Thanks
