You can (and should) renew it here: https://www.atlassian.com/purchase/product/jira-software

@Michael - you'll need admin privileges to do this: * Confluence Administration > General configuration * Groups * Assign yourself to the confluence-administrators group That should work. Otherwise, go to the 'Space' you want to access * {spaceName} > Space tools * Permissions * Individual Permissions > Edit Permissions *…

@Stephen Wille * Go to 'Jira Administration' > 'Issues' * Find your 'Issue type scheme' associated with your projects * Click 'Edit' * Find the 'Default Issue Type' field and set to 'Story' instead of 'Improvement' * Save the change That should do it, please keep me posted! Thanks

Great! Let me know if you need additional assistance.

Thanks @James Bullock - the simple layout and ease of setup provide instant value, even if you want to track the status of a small project! Do you use Trello yourself? If so, what for? Thanks for reading!

Thanks! I also love the integration between Trello & Jira, it makes converting issues so easy. @Community Manager

@sabbott go to Boards > View all Boards > Create Board > Create Kanban Board. Please keep me posted.

Projects and Boards are different. The project contains issues, transitions, workflows, and fields. The board contains a view of all issues from a project, workflow columns, and project configuration. Are you trying to create a new project to hold issues or board to display issues based on a current project?

I recently migrated from version 7 to 8 and had no issues. * Notify users to get out of the system * Run a compatibility check in your add ons * Run database backup * Run jira backup from jira administration * Stop the service Atlassian Jira * Start the upgrade Personally, I've never had issues with upgrading jira. The…

I think that is going to be relatively difficult because sql database structure and table names may not be the same, jira configuration changes or versions may be different. Are you dealing with a large scale of projects/issues? I would probably do exports from each project, recreate the configuration and then import data…
-
@agiteq - so you have two jira instances that were connected to two separator sql servers but now you want to have two jira instances connected to the same sql server but different databases?
-
@zubair.magdum - thats correct, currently cloud software is not hipaa compliant but Atlassian is on the way to compliance. It is recommended to have a locked down server and use server software if you need to maintain hipaa compliance. I'm excited for cloud to be compliant, its in the works! See here…

Is it possible that the attachment is on a different page than what is specified in the Page Name section of the macro?
-
Hi @Matthew Warren and @JefteBarboza - I know there is an issue when you upload a document to a page and then attempt to use the macro, it won't recognize the file. * Create page * Add attachment * Save page * Edit page again * Now the macro will work Seems to be a bug with Confluence not recognizing new attachments in…

Hi @Bill Watkins - * Go to your Board > Configure > Card colours * You should see your colors here * Select the color you wish Please let me know if this works! Thanks

@Jon Hardman - it sounds like there may be issues in a project using the resolution "Open" that you do not have access to. * Are you an admin in your entire instance? * Could there be issues within projects that you do not have access to?

@[deleted] that feature should be available from the story / task level. After looking into it, I could not find another way to Bulk Change, Would it be possible to add Epic Link to your story view, run the Bulk Change and then remove the Epic Link? Thanks
-
Hi @Jon Hardman - can you try resolution in (Open) instead of resolution = "Open". Please let me know your results. Thanks
-
Hi @agiteq - which database are you attempting to connect to? You will have to go to \Application Data\JIRA\dbconfig.xml and change your database configuration. You will also have to restart Jira Service. Please see the link below for additional database connection documentation (if needed):…

Hello @[deleted] * "Epic Link" = EN-2 and issueLinkType = "is blocked by" EN-2 is the epic issue number. Please let me know if this works. Thanks!

@Dmitri Wolf - free trail shouldn't auto renew so just disable the add on: * Jira Administration > Manage Apps * Find 'Portfolio for Jira' * Click 'Disable' This should disable Portfolio and the trail will expire. I don't think auto-renew is enabled unless you specifically opt-in. If so, just login to you Atlassian account…

Hello @John Semans - if you recently upgraded confluence, you will need the Atlassian Companion Application (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/administering-the-atlassian-companion-app-958456281.html) Also - document editing is done through permissions, is it possible that your confluence permissions changed? Hopefully…

Hello @Nuno Gomes - I can give you insight into how my team operates Jira but in the end, configuration is changed per company to best fit the teams needs. I think you may need to better identify your project and epics based on your current organization. Here is some insight into how we operate: Organization * Projects -…

Hello @Orazio Pensabene There is no explicit way to have the status of backlog show only stories but other status show both stories and sub-tasks. You could filter your backlog: * Board > Configure > Quick Filters * Name your filter something that makes sense to you * JQL Query: project not in ("YOUR PROJECTS") AND…

Sounds like your project isn't associated with the workflow you created? Can you check your Project Settings and make sure the Workflow is assigned correctly? If you have a screenshot, might help out.

@Amy Cate you just drag the statuses into the columns. Let me know if that works.
