  • Hi @David Means , * Navigate to the page you want to restore * Click the three dots * Click Page History > Select the v.## you want to restore * Select Restore OR Delete on the right side * Your page is now restored Thanks!
  • Hi @Amy Cate , * Go to your Board > Configure > Columns * You can map any status to any column. Generally you would map columns in order of workflow * Just click 'Back to board' and your changes should be saved! P.S. There is an 'Add Column' option, you can always add more columns. Any Unmapped Statuses are shown under…
  • @Alexander Bondarev & @Jodi LeBlanc thanks for reading! * Plug-ins: Confluence's configuration (out of the box) fit our business needs, we don't use any plug-ins at this time. * Organization: We organized Confluence by Line of Business (for example, Finance / Software) and drilled down into accounts in the hierarchy. This…
  • Hi @Mikhail Puzhay-Chereda , You can do this within the workflow, using a condition. * Go to Jira Administration > Issues > Workflows * Find the workflow associated with your project(s) and 'Edit * If you don't already have a transition, you'll need to create one * Link this transition between your last status and the done…
  • Thanks for reading @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ ! We migrated from scattered network folders, across a few different storage devices to Confluence. The ability to drag word docs right into Confluence significantly helped.
  • Hello @Christoph Meier - unfortunately this functionality is still not possible on server or cloud versions. You can vote for this here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-3295 It looks like Atlassian is in the 'Gathering Information' state of development. Thanks
  • Please let us know if this works for you, or if you need further assistance.
  • Hello @RosaBlanka - Jira verifies that it can do an entire backup and recovery within that location. This requires there to be at least two times the amount of free space related to your backup. * Go to \Application Data\JIRA\caches\ (your location may be different) * You'll see an 'indexes' folder * Right click that and…
  • @Tim Nolook Absolutely! Our team uses a Kanban Backlog and pushes 'top priority' work into a Ready To Do column that shows on the board for developers. Jira is very configurable and its a great tool! Let us know if you have more questions! Thanks
  • Hello @Tim Nolook - Go into Board > Configure > Columns and drag your workflow status from the 'Kanban Backlog' section into a new column named 'To Do' (or whatever you'd like). Thanks
  • Hello @Sharda Gupta - the Atlassian Community License's is a step down from the Commercial Starter License and that license does not include support or maintenance. Therefor, I do not believe the Atlassian Community License has support or maintenance. The Atlassian Community will answer most of your questions. You can also…
  • Hello - It is not recommended but you could disable reports in the Administration > Add-ons > Manage apps and filter for System add ons. Depending on your version, it may be named differently but mine is Atlassian Jira - Plugins - Core Reports. You could disable the specific modules related to the reports... I would not…
  • Hi @Johan Soetens _Dumblefy_, thanks for the recommendation but the system, hardware and network did not change. We only upgraded the JIRA Core Instance. I've attempted these resolutions from the article but we are still seeing CPU Spikes upon each click. Even if I click to expand the comment section on a card, the CPU…
  • Hello @Rodrigo Illera The reason you are unable to link issues from JIRA Service Desk to JIRA Core is because you are running the software as two separate instances. You'll need to install JIRA Service Desk on the same server as JIRA Core. The migration shouldn't be too difficult and you should not lose any data during the…
  • Perfect, thanks for that info... according the Atlassian's Compatibility Matrix, your system is compatible (The Matrix). This makes me think that either: * You applications are not linked. You can check this if you go to Jira Administration > Applications > Versions & licenses to see if they are linked. If they are not…
  • Awesome, I'm glad everything worked! The JQL is very powerful for searching, exporting and bulk editing issues in Jira. Have a good one! Thanks!
  • @Rodrigo Illera I am an admin in our system and I am able to "Create linked issue" into Jira Core from Jira Service Desk. A while back I experienced an issue when I selected "Create linked issue" on a specific version of Jira Core. * Are you a system admin in both Jira Service Desk and Jira Core? * What version of Jira…
  • Hi @Madhumitha Hariharan, Go to the JIRA Search on to upper right in the UI and hit enter. This will bring you to the Search section. In this section, you can create a JQL similar to this: project in (ADHOC, GEN, TD) and status in ("In Progress", "In Review") You will have different project keys and statuses based on what…
  • Hello @Johan Soetens _Dumblefy_ - thanks for reading! The main reason for separating into two boards was for the 'developers' sub-tasks to be worked within one board, while the 'business' stories are completed in the other. We felt like two boards made things less cluttered because we often have 20-30 sub-tasks per story.…
  • Hello @Marina Barbir, I believe you are trying to delete all issues that have a link to some parent issue. If so, you could perform a search issue in linkedIssues("ParentIssueID") * Select Tools * Bulk Change: all issues. * Select all issues to delete and hit Next * Select Delete Issues I hope this is what you were looking…
  • Hi @Sandra Fernandes - it would be the same as @Alexey Matveev but add this: project = projectName and resolution = Done and Sprint in closedSprints() Thanks
  • @Jon please see my updated answer, sorry I misinterpreted your question!
  • Hi Jon - Google Chrome, by default, will treat anything you drag into the UI as a 'download' for some reason. You need to drag the attachments into the 'Attachments' section of the JIRA Card for proper upload. You can see this in the issue view or detail view or the edit screen. Thanks
  • Hello @[deleted] * Go to the Board you want this filter applied to * Click Configure * Click Quick Filters * Add a new Quick Filter using "status != Done" * Save the filter Now if you go back to your board, you will see a new filter on the top. This will only show issues that have a status of anything except Done. Thanks
  • I wouldn't recommend manually manipulating the JIRA DB, as this could cause issues unless the query is provided by the Atlassian Team. Upon creating a new project, system creates a ID in dbo.project which is a foreign key to other tables such including project & board tables. Did you restart your instance after deleting a…
  • Hi Mic, Go to the board view you wish to change and click Board > Configure > Issue Detail View. You will be able to add any fields to the layout. Some fields, by default, cannot be added to the quick view. Thanks.
  • Hmm, are the links directing users to the same space that they have access to? For example, you have a linked space named Advanta, is it possible the links are pointing users to another space they may not have access to? If you set the space to 'anonymous' (which you do not want to do), then all users should have access to…
  • Hello - Go to your board that you want to change, click Board > Configure and go the to Columns tab. You should be able to drag the 'workflow-status' from the Kanban backlog section into an actual column. You may have to 'Add column', name it backlog and then drag your status over. Hope this fixed your issue! Thanks!
  • Hi Luis - I just created a permission scheme (JIRA ADMINISTRATION > Issues > Permission schemes) and you revoke all permissions for everyone in the entire scheme. Next, you go to your project (Projects > "ProjectName" > Project settings > Permissions > Actions) and assign whatever project you want to archive with that…
  • Hello - Go to your Projects > "ProjectName" > Project Settings > Users and roles > Edit defaults and now you should be able to change the Project Lead to the new user. Hope this is helpful!
