Thanks @Mark Haller - getting the team to take a look now!
-
Hi @Lee Richards - thanks for the info. Can you raise a support ticket for this please? We'll need to take a look at your board filter as well as your config to see if we can diagnose the specific cause for this degradation. Thanks

Hi all! I'm a product manager working on the new board and backlog in Jira Software. The crl-f/cmd-f browser function won't work on the new board and backlog like it did on the old board and backlog. This is down to how content is rendered on the screen. Instead, you must use the search filter situated on the left of the…

Hi @Shane McLachlan @Rus the browser ctrl-f function will no longer work on the new board in the same way as the old board. You will need to use the search box on the left side of the filter bar. We're rolling out a fix to ensure the scroll position is maintained on clearing the filters which will be out fully in the next…

Hi @Orly Dahan - is the issue in a status that hasn't been mapped to the board? Or no longer part of the board filter? You may need to raise a support ticket if you're unsure of these as it may be down to the configuration, and our support team can help you diagnose the problem as you can give them access to your instance.…
-
Hi @William Wilson - the board can have up to 5000 issues. Keen to hear feedback from customers with big boards as we should be seeing better performance for the majority of users that fall into this bucket. Thanks
-
Hi @Jens Hassler - this is a slip on our part. We've turned off this specific change and will fix it before continuing rollout. We were out to 1% so appreciate the quick feedback on it. Thanks
-
Hi @Roman Kostochka - it's resolved now. Let us know if you're still having issues. Cheers
-
Hi @Danny Z Thanks for the message. Can you raise a support ticket for this? We want to get more clarity on the specific cases where load times have slowed and support will be able to look into your instance (with your approval). Thank you!
-
Hi @Michael Ludvigson You can open the epic panel bu hitting the "e" key, or from the epic filter dropdown. Thanks
-
Hi @Jeff Murray - yes, we've removed some of the embedded View pages links on the backlog. We found the usage of these links to be extremely low and opted to remove them from the screen. We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause you. We do have the Pages feature now, and we will be looking at how we improve the…
-
Hi @Christopher Martin - yes, if not resolve already it should be soon as it's rolling out at the moment. Let us know if you still have this issue in a few days. Thanks
-
Thanks @Andrii Surai - can you raise a support ticket for this? This does indeed sound like a bug. Thanks for raising this with us! Cheers
-
Hi @Serginho - thanks for the feedback. Can you raise a support ticket for this? I haven't seen this reported before which makes me think there is something going on with configuration. If the priority field is configured on that issue type - it should show on the board. Let me know if you don't get any resolution. Cheers
-
Hi @Ulla SB - there are some changes for the board as well - we have called out this in the blog above where something is specific to one view or the other. You can also enable a Backlog for Kanplan if you want to reduce clutter on the first column of your board. Cheers
-
Thanks @Lydia Kerr for the kind words. Big changes like this are never easy, but I'm privileged to be in the position I'm in. I really do empathise with the issues that people are facing and I hope everyone knows we are committed to resolving as many of these as possible, with the aim of making Jira more inclusive for…
-
Hi @Gregg Brown Thanks for the ping. The vast majority of users are now using the new board and backlog. We'll begin removing the opt-out from the end of October and progressively do this through November. We urge any user or customer who has a problem with the new board and backlog to raise a support ticket now so that we…
-
Hi @Pedro Webster - Thanks for the feedback. I'd be keen to understand this a bit more. Are you able to share with me a screenshot or video (eryan@atlassian.com), or set up time in my calendar https://calendly.com/eoinryan/30min I'm keen to know if this i s on the backlog or board, and if you are working in a Scrum or…
-
Hi @Kyle Mitchell I'm not familiar with the csv import in JPD. The best way for traceability is to add feedback from within your JPD project (under the help menu). Thanks
-
@Joni Johnson thanks for the message. I'm not sure what's going on here - maybe browser-related? We haven't seen anyone else with this issue. Do you want to email me your browser and browser version and a screenshot to eryan@atlassian.com? Or alternatively you could raise a support ticket and our support team can help…
-
Hi @Jean Gordon It's best if you could raise a support ticket for the loss in performance on your site at https://support.atlassian.com It's possible this could be coming from some combination of your board filter, the data, and/or board configuration - and support will be able to take a closer look and help us find where…
-
Hi @Patrick Nelson Thanks for the detailed feedback! I've shared the information on performance with the team but it's best if you could also raise a support ticket for the loss in performance on your site at https://support.atlassian.com It's possible this could be coming from some combination of your board filter, the…
-
Hi @Kasturee @Tony Pentz @Patrick Nelson we're rolling out a change when you clear the search filter, we'll keep focus on the top most selected issue. This should be out by the end of the week, and although it's not a replacement for the browser find feature that scanned all the issues on the old backlog and board, we'll…
-
Hi @Gary Davidson - easiest way is to hit 'e' to open epic panel and 'v' to open the version panel. Epics are no longer a special case in Jira - they now behave like any other issue and are formalised into a true parent/child hierarchy. This means there is no longer an epic status which is distinct from the status you…
-
Hi @Steve_G Yep it should - let us know if you aren't seeing this. For example, the mark as done button will no longer be available on the epic panel. Thanks
-
Hi @Kyle Mitchell we're rolling out a change when you clear the search filter, we'll keep focus on the top most selected issue. This should be out by the end of the week, and although it's not a replacement for the browser find feature that scanned all the issues on the old backlog and board, we'll validate whether it…
-
Hi @Marc-A _Nimbax_ - we've changed the toggle into a radio select with clearer information on what this feature does. Let us know if you still don't see this...
-
Hi @[deleted] - Thanks for following up here. I see the feedback you sent in but I can't recreate your scenario. The good news is are looking to retain feature parity with the old experience - so if something regarding estimation works with the enhancements toggled off, then it should work the same with the enhancements…
-
Thanks @Luke Nickerson for the detailed feedback. I've shared this with the team and we are looking at some tweaks we can make. There are some changes rolling out at the moment that should also help. One of these is we will offer a View Settings where you can make specific fields hidden or visible on the card. We'll start…

Hi @Etienne Viljoen thanks for the message. Can you let us know which features are missing? You can also email me at eryan@atlassian.com or you can post on here as well. Thanks
