  • I'm only a customer just like you so I'm not sure on the exact detail but I guess it's similar to the embed widget. The embed widget uses Javascript that in turn will connect to the API. I wonder if maybe @Jake Bartlett @Victor Dronov or someone else from the Atlassian Statuspage team could provide more detail?
  • Hi @Donna C Jones Statuspage integration with Jira Service Desk works whereby a dynamic status is shown on the Customer Portal to your customers. You can find out more information here: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/set-up-a-jira-service-desk-integration/ Hope this helps. Thanks, Nick Coates Statuspage…
  • Hi @Joshua Aldridge Maintenances are a type of Incident when it comes to Statuspage. You'll need to call the 'Create an incident' API endpoint. You then have options to add in the scheduled dates/times, scheduled automation etc. More information here: https://developer.statuspage.io/#operation/postPagesPageIdIncidents Hope…
  • Hi @Ankita Sharan , welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm Nick from Broadcom, long-time Statuspage customer. There is currently no option to cutomize the email template, it's hard coded. I'm also not sure why you would not want to include a link to the incident/maintenance posting, that seems counter-intuitive to me and…
  • Awesome 👌 That's the great thing with Statuspage... you have 1 organization & can have as many pages! Broadcom has over 14 pages in a single organization, making life easier across the business to manage. I'm looking forward to the upcoming Access Control which will make life even easier!
  • I think every company is also different in how they use Uptime Showcase for example at Broadcom it has no relation to our SLA at all, in fact we have a legal note on all 14 pages that states this. Our customers use the showcase as more of a visual aid on how well the a service is perming over a certain day. I think we were…
  • Hi @Justin I believe this is something that has been requested in the past, I know my team at Broadcom has requested this and I've been engaged in some calls with the Atlassian team on improving Uptime Showcase. One of the requests is to change the amount of days shown from 90 to 60, 30 days. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi @Chaithra D welcome to the Atlassian Community. Nick from the Broadcom team here, long-term Statuspage customer. You will need to be on a plan that supports Customer HTML/CSS/JS. Free and Hobby do not include this. Once you are on a plan, you will have the option under Your Page -> Customize page and emails -> Customize…
  • Hi @Maria Quiring welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team here, long-term Statuspage customer. There isn't a way to not have a username or password for Audience Specific... it's designed to shield the status behind authentication. There is a way, however, to do this with Public and internal pages…
  • Hi @Troy Dunton , welcome to the Atlassian Community. Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. There isn't a way to expand the component names in the emails. At Broadcom, we make sure that our component names are short and sweet whilst ensuring they are relatable to the service. If this is something that…
  • Hi @Scott Davenport , Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. You're not able to exclude components, at all, from a public page. My suggestion would be to look at using an internal page which is designed for this use case where you only want internal users to view the status. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi @Myron PowerCraft , welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. There are integrations that you can enable out of the box such as PagerDuty, xMatters, OpsGenie etc. that would allow you to automatically create incidents and update components. There is also the API…
  • Hi Ryan, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. There isn't a calendar view of upcoming maintenance, however I do believe there is an enhancement request in the backlog as it's something Broadcom has raised previously. To help boost this enhancement request, I would…
  • Hey Sarath, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. There currently isn't a way to schedule recurring maintenance in Statuspage. One thing that we did for one of our 14 pages is add a custom banner to the bottom of the page, just under the components section which…
  • Hi Tomas, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. There isn't a way to bulk update multiple components. The quickest way would be to create an incident, then select the components and change their statuses from the dropdown. You could automate this by using the API…
  • Hi Ray, welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team here, long-term Statuspage customer. Do you mean 'System Metrics'? If so, these will be up-to-date automatically providing the source is updating. If it's not system metrics, could you please confirm where you are looking? Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Randy, welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from Broadcom, long-term Statuspage customer. You cannot reopen an incident, once it's closed you can edit the content/dates+times or write a postmortem but not re-open. My recommendation would be to create a new incident, set the status to monitoring and provide a link…
  • Hey, welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick from the Broadcom team here, long-term Statuspage customer. You cannot enable SSO with Audience Specific pages, it's not a feature that is currently available. I too had the same question but it's currently not possible. Cheers, Nick Coates Product Owner - Service Status,…
  • Hey @Michelle Bautista , welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm from Broadcom, a long-term Statuspage customer! I just wanted to draw on what @Jake Bartlett has provided and give you an example on how we decide what components we share across our 13+ pages. As most of our products are Saas/Cloud and vary in how they are…
  • Hi Naexy, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm Nick from the Broadcom team, long-term Statuspage customer. You will need to use Customization for this and use CSS to modify the div that controls the banner. Customization is on higher plans and requires custom domains. If you're going to upgrade + add custom domain,…
  • Hi Shawn, I think this is a Node (this looks like NodeJS, correct if I'm wrong) error where it's using the https protocol in the apiBase parameter and is expecting http instead. TypeError [ERR_INVALID_PROTOCOL]: Protocol "https:" not supported. Expected "http:" Thanks, Nick Coates Product Owner - Service Status, Broadcom.
  • Hi! Welcome to the Atlassian Community. Nick from the Broadcom team, long-time Statuspage customer! There isn't an out of the box configuration to do this and I believe you can't do this via customization either. This is for both Incident History and Uptime. Thanks, Nick Coates Product Owner - Service Status, Broadcom.
  • No problem. I'm sure the Atlassian Support folks will be able to resolve this for you.
  • My recommendation is to clear the cache in your browser. I've had several users recently that this happened to and a simple clearing of the cache worked. You could also check in Incognito mode. Thanks, Nick Coates Product Owner - Service Status, Broadcom Inc.
  • Hi Jimmy, I think you'll need to remove the 'FROM' address but if you're on the free plan it may be disabled. If that is the case, I recommend raising a ticket with the Support team to ask them to remove this for you: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ Thanks, Nick Coates Product Owner - Service Status, Broadcom Inc.
  • Hi Peter, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm Nick from the Broadcom team (long-time Statuspage customer). In order for 'related incidents' to be shown on the Uptime Showcase, you must select a component during the incident creation. If these are newly added components then you will not be able to add them to the…
  • Hi @Victor_OC , Nick from the Broadcom team here and am responsible for incident comms platform. I've shared your feedback with the team and we will be testing appending [CANCELLED] and [RESCHEDULED] to the incident posts on a few of our pages with the intent to further roll this out across all pages. We really appreciate…
  • @David_Hacking Just to confirm Statuspage does not have release note functionality. I saw from another thread you raised sharing another customer's page and as Zach from the Atlassian team pointed out this was done with custom JS and HTML.
  • Hi James, Nick from the Broadcom team here, a long-term Statuspage customer! You will need to pay for each page separately. Pricing can be found here: https://www.statuspage.io/pricing You can activate your page by clicking on the 'Activate page' button in the left hand sidebar which will then take you to the payment page…
  • Hey Travis, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Nick here from the Broadcom team! There is no way to create/update/resolve incidents via email. You either can do this in the Management Portal or via the API (https://developer.statuspage.io/). I'm not sure if this would work for you but could you set up something like…
