Yes, that is very weird that it is trying to use Epic Link and calling it a custom field. The CSV import has been flaky for awhile now. Sometimes you can do it through Settings > System > External system Import and it work but not though the import through the Project. Then a week or two later, it works through the other…

Hi Alex, Yes, they will continue to work. But if there is an error when the automation runs, it will email the user who is now gone. So you should change the owner of the rule to someone else who is still there. You can do that in bulk.
-
Hi @Tim Bohnensteffen - just checking in on you.
-
Super ! Je suis content que ça fonctionne pour vous maintenant.
-
Hi Beau, You can get there a couple of different ways. For the first, you need to be a Space Admin - Click the 3 dots menu beside the Space name and select Space Settings. You should see a menu option on the left then for Automation. The second way, you need to be a Jira Administrator - go to Settings > System > Global…

Fair enough and thank you for that. Just so you are aware, I was confused why you were exporting and then reimporting when trying to create all 3 at one time. Regardless, here is what you can try: Issue IDIssue TypeParent Summary1Epic Epic 1 Task1Task 2 Story1Story 1 2Task Task 1 Sub-task2Sub-task 1 Sub-task2Sub-task 2…

You are very welcome. Let us know how it goes!

You don't need to have an attitude when trying to get help. We are users here just like you. And your last sentence is not easily derived from the data you provided. Having said that, is your use case that you are wanting in a single CSV import to create an Epic and children under the Epic and sub-tasks under the Epic…

Hi J B - You are correct in that you cannot do an auto transition to a status using an automation rule if the transition has a screen or validation rule attached to it. But I am confused on your exact use case. Can you list a step-by-step what you want to happen when?

Hi Lira - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This article might specify other fields, but it should work in your case as well by just subbing out the example with your field name. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/How-Can-I-Sum-Up-Multiple-Issues-into-a-Parent-Number-Field/ba-p/2882712

Hi J, I am confused by what you are trying to do. Are you just trying to update the Parent field with the Epic for a list of current work items?

Hi Manuel - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am marking Trudy's answer as accepted. Pleas let us know if you still have questions.

@PARISATO Marie-Hélène - Were you able to solve this by using a different browser?
-
Okay, let me see if someone from Atlassian can come help.

Hi Thierry - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This is an end user community and not typically monitored by Atlassian product personnel. You need to open a support/feature request to make those wishes known. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Have you tried a different browser type or with Incognito/Private window mode?
-
Hi Randy - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What type of space is this? Team-managed? Company-managed? And which other type? Software? Business? JSM? Have you tried to go into the Space Settings then click on Access and then People and add there?
-
Hi Augustin - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There are some free Atlassian Marketplace apps (and really good paid ones too!) that will calculate time in status far easier than what you are trying to do with automation and custom fields. However, for your syntax above, try adding: .hours.abs after the 0 to convert the…

Hi Nicolae, I am marking Michael's answer as accepted. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Hi Shanmuga - While some of your points are valid, The move of the Status field was the point most people complained about with the UI changes, and they was rolled back several weeks ago.
-
Hi Geovanny, If you create and link the tickets by a specific Link Type (you can create a custom one) then you should be able to create a filter showing those tickets.
-
Hi Darcy, What message or error are you getting? When was the last time you successfully logged in?
-
Dude, that was almost 13 years ago. I remember the project, but not the individual issue.
-
Hi Dina, I am a little confused. You don't paste the query into the Filter Results gadget - you select an existing filter which hopefully would have been the one you saved above.

Hi Tim - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! So you created the Integration following to Steps to configure the integration and all of that worked correctly the best you can tell? Did you then configure the Incoming | Rules to create the alerts? Or did you just use the default? Do you have other Integrations that are…
