True, you would need to manually create the board by either copying an existing board and changing the board filter, or create the board from scratch based on the existing new project.
-
Exactly!

Hey @Vipeen Sekharan - Did you get something working?
-
So you just want it to have one and only component, and you don't care which one it is. I misunderstood that you wanted a particular component to be selected. Thanks for the clarification.
-
Ah, I misread that - thanks for the clarification. In that case, you can create a base Space with all of the configurations you need (and some automation rules for some specialized things) and in effect, have your own template. Then create a new Space based on this Space you have created already. I do this all of the time,…

Yes, but what I just described in my previous post would return a size of 2, thus meeting the Condition. But it would keep Component 123, when your desire is to have it set to Component ABC. The Condition will not prevent that. Also, by using the Condition you are not achieving what you want if the only Component is…

Hey @Trudy P Claspill I don't think step 2 is correct. If you create a Jira Software space and use a JSM space as the shared space, it will create the new space as a JSM space based on the one you selected, and not a software space as you are intending.
-
What if it isn't the component you want to keep? Let's say you want to only allow Component ABC, but Component 123 gets entered first, and then Component ABC. The rule will not work as you intend.

Hi Sirisha - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I assume this is a Jira Software space form you are using. Those forms are fairly new to Jira and are limiting to a large degree. If you need more flexibility and control of the forms, I suggest you use a Jira Service Management space with an Advanced (ProForma) form.

Hi Frank - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Templates for Creating a Space are available for all subscription plans. Is there something you are trying to do that is not available to you? Archiving of Spaces is also available to Premium subscriptions, not just Enterprise. Again, where are you finding that something is…

So what is the {{issue.components.first}} smart value doing exactly?
-
Nicely done - what great examples!!

What's the best prompt to use for creating a Retrospective or Post-mortem for work that has been completed? Included what fields should I have on the work item when it is closed to best help with the proper generation of the a Confluence page for the Retrospective.
-
Was able to share the Rovo generated Whiteboard internally with other team members. What a hit!
-
To me, the Prompts are the key to creating a good agent. Once you get that down, you are well on your way.
-
I had Rovo create a new Whiteboard for me from scratch, and it did a great job of getting me 80% of so of what I wanted to produce right off of the bat. Huge timesaver!
-
The ability to keep refining is huge!
-
Hi Steven - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Can you give us some more context - where and what are you doing? And maybe some screenshots.
-
Yes, please share a screenshot because automation rules do not restrict what is visible to a user while on a a work item in Jira.
-
Let me see if someone from Atlassian can come help you.
-
Thanks for the feedback. And to be honest, you would just wait until the next post looking for a solution like that or identifying a similar problem. Atlassian will be removing many of these old posts pretty soon, so your comment won't even be seen in a few weeks/months. Or you can create an Article if you have those…

Hi Alfonso, For those in the managed users section, they probably have an email using a domain that has been claimed by another Jira instance. If that is the case, you will not be able to change information about them Also, since you are on a Free account, you can't control permissions anyway. You can only invite to your…

Hi Carla, It is not a good habit to delete work items as inevitably you will delete something that should not have been, it will be impossible or next to impossible to get it back. I suggest you modify the workflow to add a Status for Cancelled or Abandoned or something like that. Then your users can move tickets to that…
-
Hi @Sandro Bürki - per Community guidelines, please do not necropost to old posts. If you need something, please create a new post.
-
Hi Rohit, You should do as the message guides and contact Atlassian support at the link provided in the message.
-
Hi Christina, Are any other users in the same ticket who are in the Request Participants field getting notifications? How about other tickets in that same project? Do the users at least have a free Customer account?
-
Hi Anurag - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Opsgenie as not be absorbed into JSM in the Operations area. You can get there by clicking on the Operations menu option in the bottom left while on any screen/space in Jira.
-
@Trudy P Claspill - agreed but we had a lot of daffodils in our yard growing up, but no tulips :-)
-
Hi Edmond - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Do you have an active JSM Agent license?
-
Like @Barbara Szczesniak - growing up in Tennessee, it was always when the daffodils began to bloom. There might be a few more days of cold or even a random snowfall, it it always meant Spring was around the corner.
