Hi Anosha, Those users need to be added to the Request Participants field and then they will get the update. If you setup Jira to create a ticket by email, then the CC user email addresses on the email should be automatically added to the Request Participants field.

This is most likely the culprit. The Cancelled status needs to be mapped to the column and not just sitting in the unmapped statuses area.

1. When the automation rule is executed is runs as the Actor you have selected. If you leave it as Automation for Jira, then is runs as the addons permission and executes fine, regardless of the permissions the person who executed the manual rule has. 2. No worries 3. See Bill's answer.

Hi Eddie, One option might be to create a manual automation rule that runs from the Story. You could let anyone run the rule and have a prompt for the summary and link it to the story. Another option would be to create it as a sub-task under the Story. A third option would be to automatically add it to the open Sprint when…

Hi Chick, As you have already pointed out, Jira was not really designed to do those types of functions. What I have seen (and used to a certain extent) is custom fields and automation rules. But that depends on what you are trying to do/record. There are also some budgeting type Marketplace vendor apps out there that might…

Hi John - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! It is not true that Epics have a minimum timeline of 5 days. You can have a start and end/due date on the same day or two days, etc. Can you provide some screenshots where you are getting an error with the minimum timeframe?
-
Hi Lucy, That is very strange. I suggest you go ahead and open a support ticket with Atlassian for them to check. https://support.atlassian.com/contact#/

Hi @GuoShilei - This has been flagged so someone from Atlassian can come take a look.

Rovo doesn't always remember things like that. It's not personalized like other AI's
-
Hi Maurice, In my experience, I have to keep having the dialogue with Rovo. So run the Agent and it if says it created the work item and gives you a work item key, then verify it. If it says the key doesn't exist, then tell Rovo that key does not exist. If it gives you a key for an already existing work item, then tell…

It appears to only show Company-managed projects. Another reason you should stop using Team-managed projects.
-
Understood - just saying that it might depend on when you run the query. Is this still happening and a problem for you?
-
Hi Pratyush, Have your administration use the Permission Helper in the Permissions scheme to see what the problem might be. It is very detailed and helpful to describe the problem.
-
Hi Kunal - I will flag this to see if someone from Atlassian can come help you here.

Hi Don, Why is the Bulk change not working? Are you trading users one-for-one? In other words reassign all of Jimmy's tasks to Mary? Or something else?
-
In that case, when the user sends the email and the ticket is created, the user will receive an email that will prompt them to create an Atlassian account to see the ticket. They will then be granted a Free Customer license for the space at that point. Are these people interior or exterior to your company?

Hi Claudia, If you have access to User Management functions, you can go there and search for the user in the Users or Managed Account menu option. Then for the line for Jira Service Management, click the 3 dots menu to the right and select View Jira project roles. That should give you want you are looking for.

Hi Spencer, So, what error are you getting? What is not happening that you would expect to happen? Can you share the audit log of when it should/does get executed?
-
Because the start of the week applies to the time zone you are in. Typically it is 8 am or 9 am on a Monday. Some regions of the world are different as they start their work week on Sunday. Also, 8 am in Cairo, Egypt is different than 8 am in Cairo, IL so you would get different results based on that.
-
Looking forward to seeing you again soon, brother!

Very good - let us know how it goes.

You are welcome and best of luck!
-
Sounds like maybe it was a timing issue with your time zone.
-
Hi Sherrel, Not sure exactly what you are asking, but assuming the status. So, you can try a query/filter/search for something like: project = ABC and issuetype = Epic and status in (Open, Close) Where ABC is the project key for the space you are looking at.

Hi José, Can you provide some more details? What exactly are you wanting/needing/trying to do?
