Congrats @Andy Gladstone !!! Couldn't happen to a better guy. Welcome to Level 10!!
-
Hi Mic, Are you using that function in a third party app?
-
Hi Glenell, You are probably lacking the Global Make bulk changes permission. That must be granted by a Jira Admin. Navigation is Settings > System > Global Permissions > Make bulk changes.
-
Hi Andres - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! That should be sufficient permission for them to edit. Are they getting an error? Is something grayed out? Can you provide some screenshots?
-
Hi Raymond, So is your intent to allow anonymous access only to the project? Because if you don't let the user create an account, that is what will happen. Answers to questions. 1. No, customer licenses are free and do not count towards any paid licenses. 2. Customer access changed at this level is for the entire JSM…
-
Hi Deseymour, It's not a literal per named user and who did the rule execution, it's just a way to calculate the total. So if you have 100 paid licenses, then that's 100,000 executions per month. You should never even get close to that. Doesn't matter who triggered the execution, just that each one counts against the…

Hi Graeme - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Were you able to figure this out? If so, what was the solution?

So, there are a couple of things going on here. Screens have fields added to them and the fields can be dragged up or down to set the order. You can have different screens for different work types. So any space and work type combination where the screen scheme is shared in those spaces will use the same exact screen.…
-
Hi Deseymour, Screens are often associated with work types, though not always. It might be that. Or once the screen is created and implemented, there is a work item layout functionality that can change what the screen looks like when implemented. That is the configure button in the bottom right of the screen.

Hi Nik - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I assume this is working for you now. Can you confirm?
-
You are welcome. If this answered your question, would you be so kind as to click on the Accept Answer button above? Thanks!
-
Hi Kyle - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Did you try Vitalii's suggestion? I am going to mark that answer as accepted, but let us know if you still have questions.
-
Hi Jim, Well, that is curious. What is different about those 6?
-
Hi Amy, Can you share some screenshots or provide some more information?
-
Okay, that view is not unique to a single space.
-
So what exactly are you updating that is not syncing up? Do you have filters/quick filters selected on each tool that are different from each other? Does the filter for the board restrict what you see on the board in some way?
-
Hi Subrat - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am going to mark Mohamed's answer as accepted. Please let us know if you still have questions.
-
Please reply inline to the thread so users can follow the conversation. Where exactly were you looking in the Space?
-
Hi Mandar, This sounds like some type of caching issue with your browser(s) for each system. Try clearing your cache and see if that helps. It's the same information, so if updated, regardless of the tool you use, it should update across each.
-
Hi Brett, I suggest you open a support ticket with Atlassian to see if they can help you get it resolved. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
-
Glad you were able to solve it!
-
Do you mind sharing the gaps here? What exactly are you wanting to see that none of the tools can do so far? That might help the vendors put some enhancements on their roadmaps.
-
Hi Hayley, You should contact the vendor directly for assistance.
-
Hi Andrew - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You don't have to use the API to create the ticket in a different space - if you mean space in the same Jira instance. If it is going to a space in another Jira instance, then yes to the API. And the smart value (JSON) syntax for the field should…

Hi Asya, Prior to JSM Cloud incorporating this as a normal function (not sure if DC has done that not, but check that first), I created this article on how to do it with an automation rule. You can modify as needed to fit your use case/tools.…
-
It's most definitely when Atlassian acquired Code Barrel. I used to work a lot of those guys prior to the acquisition and even talked with the venture capital guys before the purchase happened. Even now, I would say 60-70 of my time involves working with automation rules on a weekly basis. Love the tool and the continued…
-
Hi Michelle, You are about to get smothered on here by vendors hawking their product. First, pretty much all apps are going to be based on queries/filters. So you need to create all of your filters first and look at the results to see if those look correct. You will not be able to see totals and things of that nature with…
-
Hi David - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Were you able to follow Dan's suggestion? I am going to mark his answer as Accepted. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Hi @deseymour I suspect you were looking at a board - is that correct? A board can show work items from multiple spaces on it. However, the Epic itself can only be created against a single space. BUT, an Epic can have children from multiple spaces.
