Channa, Could you check the atlassian-jira.log file at the time that you got the error? That could get a more clear view on what the issue is here.
-
Hi Mikhail, You can check the confluence upgrade notes to see what the upgrade path is you should use. To reuse the license, a license is alway bound to a Server ID, so you need to have the same server ID. You can find some more info about server ID…

Hi Thilo, There is a bug in Jira that, when a user has been auto added to watcher, removing him does not work. The solution is to remove the user from watcher, add him again, remove him again and then refresh the screen. Then the user should be removed from watchers. Hope this helps, Laurens

Thanks for the effort and update, glad to hear that the need for data residency for non enterprise customers is heavily needed to stay compliant. We have a lot of 50-100 user customers who require this and are "begging" to go to cloud but can't due to data residency.

@Alex Gerulaitis To share my experience, I have done a lot of Jira Service Management implementations in IT teams and datacenter teams, so yes, it is definitely the perfect tool to manage those incidents. In addition we use insight to gain asset views on tickets, see what the impact is of a switch going down, that in…

Hi Ken, I'm afraid this is not (Yet?) possible in cloud, there is no option to reference to other CF, not in IQL and not by referenced CF. I have the same concerns, but I think/hope that the team is working hard on getting these things fixed now that they are part of the atlassian team. Regards, Laurens

Kevin, We don't have a clear view of your setup (reverse proxy or ssl by confluence itself), but here you can find some documentation on how to run confluence on SSL, procedure should be the same for renewalls: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/running-confluence-over-ssl-or-https-161203.html Hope this helps. Regards,…

Chenyu, I would advise you to contact atlassian support and send them the logs so they can help you. Could be various reasons, a full reboot of the server could also help in case that there is some process hanging that locks up everything. Regards, Laurens
-
Hi Maxime, Unless something changed the last few days/weeks, this is a feature that is not (yet?) available on cloud for now, but it is on server/dc. You don't have referenced fields or the ability to reference to another custom field. Regards, Laurens

Could be that you where impacted by this: https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/2m1sgrmy0mz1

Marco, It kind of depends on which goal you want to reach. An unlicensed JSM user who has a JSW licence, will, with the right project permissions, be able to view JSM issues, but will not have edit, transition, ... permissions due to his license. If you want to give customers more access then just the JSM portal, you will…
-
Marco, Are the project permissions set so that the jira SW users have access to the JSM project? You can always use the permission helper to assist you in why access is failing. Regards, Laurens
-
Hi Giorgos, You can hide the customer request type, that way they will still see the open tickets but are unable to create new ones. Regards, Laurens
-
@Brittany Woerner , Within the same instance, the most logic thing to do is to just create an issue link and make sure that the user has read access on both. You can always do some magic with post functions or automations to copy over field data. But if you really want to keep things in sync, even in the same instance,…

Hi, As stated here: If you don't terminate the trial within the trial period, a subscription for the app kicks in. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/manage-your-apps/ https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/integrate-apps/ So if you don't disable it before the end of trial, it will…

Sharma, You could try with a custom field condition on both the approval and non approval transition. JSU provides the custom field condition option. Regards, Laurens
-
Maury, Upgrading should not be an issue, version 1.29 is compatible with jira 7.11.2 or higher. Regards, Laurens
-
Didem, You can look into sync apps like Elements Copy&Sync, Backbone, Exalate or issue sync: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=sync They have capabilities to sync issue data between 2 different instances. Regards, Laurens

@Cathy I'm not a screen recording expert but most video formats are supported in confluence. You can find some more information on how to embed these: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/display-files-and-images/ I mostly do screen recordings with quicktime as i'm an apple user.
-
Hi Cathy, Once in the edit mode of a page, you can just click the insert file or image button. When you upload a video/screen recording there, it will embed the video on the confluence page. Hope this helps. Laurens

@Jack Brickey Thanks for the reply. Smart values do actually work like {{issue.Organizations.name}} But not for mailing to it in automation. If you request issue.organizations you only get an id and a name, not the content of its organization. Not sure if it is even possible what we are trying to do
-
Hey Ethan, You can open a support request on this page: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ Regards, Laurens
-
@Ethan Rader The only think i can think of at this point is either the quick filters on top, there are jira versions where they are a bit buggy, showing disabled but actually are enabled or things like issue security, that doesn't give certain people the right to view the issues. Could you check those 2 things?
-
@Ethan Rader Apologies, i missed the reply. The backlog view also shows tickets of the active sprint but in an upper section, so i think/hope that that is what you are experiencing. Once tickets are out of the backlog, they will show up on the board of the active sprint. So you can't use it the way kanban boards work as…

@Kathi I'm afraid i can't give you much advise on labels. I'm not a big fan of labels because i find it to much of a free choice, everyone can add labels, typo's happen, ... It helps in some cases but when the page is constructed clearly, has a clear title and is in a right space structure, i believe the search does its…

@Larissa Elen do Nascimento You can do it on existing tickets through a bulk move. I don't think the customer can do it on the existing ones.
-
@Larissa Elen do Nascimento For existing requests the organisation has to be added, you can normally do this with a bulk move. For now requests it normally auto selects the organisation where the customer is part of so if they don't change it, it should be shared.
-
Hey Larissa, You can create and organisation an put all your customers in that organisation. Then a customer can select if the ticket is visible to everyone in the organisation or private. I think this is the best way to meet your requirement. Kind regards, Laurens

Kathi, The way i see it, if the persons using the KB have access to all the pages, i would place the cross product documentation in a separate section in the tree and use include page to add them under the three. As you mention the search does not cover the includes, but if you search, you will find the page in the…
