My team all use 16:10 displays which helps slightly with vertical space (in landscape), but we probably wont upgrade to 4K displays anytime soon.

We have the same view - Atlassian's change is just making work for Admins :-(

My team have been using Jira for over 10 years (from Server to Cloud) and we do not really understand the need to change the navigation. It will be a disruptive change for experienced users, and seems to make the overall screen more busy & cluttered than before. We also want to opt-out permanently from this change - but…

I know you've already accepted an answer for this.... but wanted to note that for Confluence Space administrators you can use the Content Manager and filter pages by their current owner. This allows you to find pages within a space owned by a specific (active OR former) user. Unfortunately this is only available for…

Can you unpack more why do these need to be in a single JSM project? You mentioned two reasons in your post: * Avoid duplication of request types across multiple projects. * Keep project-level features (like SLAs, automation, assets) centralized and consistent Yes these make sense, but they do not seem to be blockers. IMHO…

Seems strange to remove these from the active sprint view. Don't we want all of our teams to keep the sprint goal in mind?
-
Thanks - good to hear. We use Confluence, but spend more time in Jira. I expect the change to have greater impact on Jira because it has a more complex menu.

Linking is an optional feature in Jira. Check Settings > Issues > Issue Linking is turned on. If it is on you'll see a DEACTIVATE button at the top. You may also need to ensure the user has permission to link a Jira issue to a Confluence page? In Jira this is a per-project setting. I'm assuming: * your Jira and Confluence…

Team managed projects have many differences (compared to company manged ones). Have you checked the documentation? https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/migrate-between-team-managed-and-company-managed-projects/

We have seen some strange (and slow) performance from Jira today - a few days later. Is your issue with Jira fixed now?

I hope @Jared Schmitt has answered the part about showing the attachment size. JSM has some gaps around email processing (incoming and outgoing), see these suggestions in the backlog: * Be able to track outgoing emails that fail to be delivered (JSDCLOUD-4479) * Notifications for outgoing emails that fails, bounced or…
-
Your question is for Jira, but I would note that even Jira Service Management does not provide a log of outgoing email (even for Jira administrators): * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-13528 * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-4698 (closed)
-
As far as I know, there is no standard function for this - and no standard way to do what you describe. * I don't think there is any built-in feature to attach the outgoing email. * I don't think automation can add an attachment. Workaround idea; change your automation to copy the email text to an issue comment.

Something like this: * Create a automation rule and set the scope (which projects it should apply to). * Choose the Issue Transitioned trigger and set the From status to "Design Status" value(s) in your workflow. * Update the field(s) required using Edit issue fields with a "Smart Value". Depending what you want maybe…
-
I think there are two main ways to do this in Jira Cloud: * The traditional approach for Company Managed Projects is to use Workflow Post functions. * The modern approach is to use Jira Automation. Creating automation rules is probably easier for people new to Jira.

I don't think so. In the Project > Settings > Features page there is a link to a basic help description. But have not been able to find any info about configuring this. For years we have used Jira Dashboards to build a summary of a project (or group of projects). They take some time to setup (based on issue filters and…

Not sure when this changed, but CMPs can now show the Due Date field. Check you have the field in your project, and you can use the Board View Settings to turn it on/off.
-
I don't know of any way to do this in JQL or ScriptRunner. We normally use the sprint report to see sprint scope changes (issues added and removed). There is a backlog item about this for Jira Cloud: JRACLOUD-75868 JQL search for issues added and removed from a sprint

Users can turn notifications on and off via the User profile (top right corner) > Notifications. This page has a range of options to manage notifications. Suggest you check this with the user.

We have had cases where Atlassian did not achieve their uptime target, and made a compensation claim. The process is quite smooth. NOTE: Because this is a Monthly uptime target they won't finalize compensation until after the end of the calendar month of the outage.

Just noticed this when doing bulk operations in Jira Cloud (we migrated a few months back). Looks like it has been broken for some time but it worked on Jira Server. This is a known bug: JRACLOUD-82346 Bulk operation progress indicator is incorrect
-
Still no solution for this - but there is a backlog item you could follow: JRACLOUD-83228 Ability to Remove "Add People" Button from Sprint Boards
-
The comments here reminded me that Atlassian has yet to add a keyboard shortcut for "Link issue" which is another suggested feature you might want to follow and vote for JRACLOUD-74885.

Thanks for the links and workaround using JQL+Rest.

For those following this thread, you might want to watch or follow this one: JRACLOUD-85131 Not sure why @Ahmud Auleear didn't mention this.

We also hate the new UI/UX. In our case we found the drop-down list includes redundant items (we have disabled whiteboards), and that without that item in the list we *should* get the individual buttons instead of the horrible "Add" button. You can follow and vote for the backlog item here: JRACLOUD-85144 If they fix this…

After contacting Atlassian support they told me: Thanks for your response and feedback - I have contacted the PM responsible for this feature who has informed me it is now generally available and therefore became enabled on all sites as long as it is no longer in an experiment stage. For context, previously as it was an…

This happened in our instance back in July, we complained and they 'reverted' it. Not only does the drop down add clicks (friction) for users, it includes an option for New Confluence Whiteboard - which is irrelevant for us because we have disabled that feature in all of our confluence spaces. Unfortunately the single…

This decision is disappointing - the proposed alternatives are not like-for-like replacements. We have been using the Roadmap widget for years (on server, and now Cloud) it has provided a simple forward view for software releases that: * Is Simple: * Indicates progress on the release scope. * Shows only future releases. *…

We've found two problems with the new experience, and at this stage I'm not recommending it to my users: * One of our ScriptRunner script validator fails (testing the value of a custom field). * There is no shortcut key to complete the issue transition Shift+Alt+S works on the old experience - See JRACLOUD-84777 OTOH since…
