Hi Taruna, thanks for your post. You can create a diagram from PlantUML text in draw.io, please follow the clickpath Menu > Arrange > Insert > Advanced > PlantUML to declara a diagram in draw.io. Our main use-case however is drawing diagrams (either manually or AI assisted), so we don't support a mass migration of existing…

Hi Bill. If you like, you can anonymize your diagram and send it to bastian@drawio-app.com, I am happy to check it.

Hi Vickie. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to import Signavio data into draw.io in an editable form. What I can recommend is creating a feature request via Github (https://drawio.link/featurerequest) to ask for a migration script. But I have to say that building a mass migration script takes a lot of effort and of…
-
Hey Vickie, thank you for your post. There is no migration tool to move Signavio diagrams to draw.io. There are two paths that you can follow: * You can export all of your Signavio files as Confluence-readable image files, such as high resolution pngs or jpgs. You can also export pdf files and attache them to the…

Hi Anabel. Sorry but we don't speak spanish (so allow me to respond in english). There might be a temporary Confluence hiccup, but to be 100% sure, please contact our engineers via support@draw.io. They will assist you to sort out the issue asap.

Hi @Anil . It looks like the board file in the attachments has been deleted, can you check? The macro refers to the whiteboard xml file and displays this particular message when it can't create a connection. If this is not the case with you, please turn to our tech support staff via https://drawio.link/technicalsupport…
-
Hi @Grant Rolls . May I ask, which product/app you are referring to? If it is draw.io, using the Embed draw.io diagram option should do exactly what you requested (synchronize all embedded diagrams once the parent diagram is updated). If this isn't the case, please contact our tech support, using our Helpdesk…

Hi @Ahamed Hija Fuard ! You Atlassian Cloud URL is the one you see in your browser when you access Confluence or Jira, like https://yourcompany.atlassian.net/ Please contact our tech support via email, they will help you out asap. We are covering basic support requests in the Community forum, but we can't offer tech…
-
Hi @Ahamed Hija Fuard ! If the Solution that @Wasim provided doesn't help you, you can try to un- and reinstall draw.io in your Cloud environment. Your existing diagrams won't be affected by it. If that also doesn't work, please turn to our tech support team to speak to our engineers directly. May you please contact them…

If your question is around upgrading Confluence itself, please have a look at the Atlassian documentation on Confluence upgrades: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-4578.html Sincerely, Bastian

Hi @Ermira Hoxha . Although you already wrote that your intention is to not use third party vendor apps to achieve your goal, I at least like to point out how it is done in draw.io (as you also mentioned our app): * Embed a blank draw.io diagram macro on your Confluence page * Click View > Background > Change in the global…

Hi there. No documentation needed, you need admin rights to access the Configuration Settings in Confluence. If you then click on the option Manage Apps in the left panel (you might have to expand it first) you see a list of all apps installed. Choose draw.io and click Update. That's it :D
-
Hi Nichola. You mean a plausibility check? No, we unfortunately don't provide that in draw.io.
-
Hi Bianca. Just saw your request and at least wanted to share the link https://drawio-app.com/blog/increase-productivity-with-gantt-charts-in-draw-io/ with you. Following this blog post, you can create Gantt charts once you downloaded and embedded the gantt custom library. This way, you don't create Gantt charts via…

Hi @Jeff Shantz . As this is a technical issue, the quickest way to get to a solution is contacting our engineers directly. So may I ask to email my colleagues via support@draw.io or use our tech support helpdesk at https://drawio.link/technicalsupport ? Thanks and best wishes, Bastian

Hi Hilary. The theme you are referring to is for a use case outside of the Atlassian Ecosystem. However, there is a free integration from draw.io for MS Office. You can download it via the link https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/wa200000113 This way, you don't have to export your draw.io diagrams and…

Hi there, thanks for your inquiry. Confluence Server and all the apps that run inside of Confluence Server are managed within a licensing model. So you own the software and can use it as long as you wish. From February 25th 2024 on, you won't have product support anymore, including bug and security fixes etc. (because the…

Hi Kelly. Adding up to what my colleague Neghena wrote, I wanted to add some more information. The feature you request is not available yet. You can use tooltips as placeholders (see https://www.drawio.com/blog/placeholders for a detailed blog post), which does exactly what you requested - except the fact that it works…
-
Thank you @Michael Stahl for the answer. The original question somehow managed to get around all our filters (probably because of the space between draw and io) so thanks for stepping in :D
-
@Alexey Krivosar Yes, this option works very well, as you can define, which tab you like to have visible by default once you embedded it (and if that tab contains layers, you can even configure, if there are layers you like to have invisible or visible by default).
-
@Alexey Krivosar Allow me to step in for David. The "embed draw.io" macro can only be used, if the diagram you like to refer to is already stored on a Confluence page. You have to import the diagram from your hard drive first. Just use the regular import option via File > Import from or simply drag and drop the XML file on…

Hi Alistair. I don't think that this function is part of the Whiteboard feature set yet. If this is a crucial feature for you, you might evaluate a third party diagramming app instead. I am part of team draw.io, so we would appreciate if you give draw.io a try. Of course, you can also contact the Atlassian enigneers…
-
Hi Benoît. Thanks for bringing that up, it's actually possible and also quite easy to accomplish in draw.io. Let me guide you through the process. 1. Go to the Confluence page where you like to refer to the original diagram and add the draw.io macro with the command /draw 2. Now choose the option Embed draw.io Diagram 3.…

Hi Morgan. Another Confluence app that supports interactive diagrams is called draw.io (disclaimer, I work for the draw.io team). We introduced the feature in 2018 and have been successively refining it since then. Besides the functionality to show and hide layers, there are a lot of other interactive features that want to…

Hi Rachel, thanks for raising your question. I guess our engineers have to look into this, may you please raise a support request via https://drawio.link/technicalsupport ? Sincerely, Bastian

Hi Chandra. There are plenty of documents available on the theory of a data flow diagram, but I think you like to create a data flow diagram in Jira, correct? If the answer is yes, there are a couple of apps that support you doing it. draw.io is one of them, but you can access the Atlassian Marketplace to get an overview.…
-
Hi @Ajay.Amrite . Usually, the diagrams/boards created with draw.io are always editable if you published them to the Confluence page (and it looks like this is what you did). If you didn't save the page before, you will find the page in the draft section (just like @Rilwan Ahmed suggested). If you saved the page at least…

Hi Leon. Attached you find a screenshot of all the supported formats you can use to generate a diagram from code (Arrange > Insert > Advanced): Sincerely, Bastian

I'm aware that we have new Community Guidelines that prohibit app vendors from putting promotional statements in posts (which is appreciated). However, since this post indirectly gives the impression that draw.io can't create BPMN diagrams, why don't you see for yourself how good we are at it:…

Hi Naoki. The latest Confluence Cloud upgrade broke the full screen dialog (see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-75996). Atlassian and our team are working on it, it will hopefully be fixed soon. Sincerely, Bastian
