Hi @ckopanon There is no direct way to get notification on when a request arrives in a queue. But as @arielei and @yqiao mention, you can use Automation Rules to send out emails. What you will have to do, is for each Queue that you want to setup a notification for, is figure out type of 'event' makes a ticket get into a…

HI @Olivier Segers , you could utilise integration utilitites such as Zapier and IFTTT. And maybe Scriptrunner Connect will soon support Pipedrive. Zapier has connectors for both PipeDrive and Jira. So you should be able to create a Zap that triggers on JIra issue updates, and does a Deal update in Pipedrive as action.…

Ah, yes. There is no difference between an automatic versus manual update of the remaining estimate. This makes the solution more complex. * Find the change in remaining estimate (old - new estimate) * Compare this change to the logged time If the change is different from the logged time, it must be a manual update. If the…

Hi @Denys Pavlov , I had to try this for myself to figure it out. The Log Work doesn't trigger an issue updated event. As stated in the documents here, the Issue Updated doesn't include the Log Work. But when I use the Trigger "Work Logged", then my Rule is triggered. And I can use the {{worklog.timeSpentSeconds}} to…

Hi @Duhwee Pham , The 'Grouping' is by default set to whatever is configured by the Board Administrator in the Board Settings as 'Swimlanes'. Changing the Grouping is now a personal and temporary switch. It is not 'wrong' per definition. What would be a nice feature is to allow users to choose to permanently override the…

Hi @Nicolas Burdet , have you been able to resolve your issue? If not, do you have a Jira Administrator / Organisation Administrator you can contact about this? Or are you the (only) administrator? Have a nice day. Rik
-
Hi @Chris Jiang And welcome to the community! As @Bill Sheboy mentioned, you can trigger an automation rule on changes to a Release / Version (using the Version Updated trigger). But there is no option to check what has changed. If a Release changed, it could be the Description or Release date, but it can also be the start…

Hi @Sarah Jones , I think you will find the post from @John Funk "How can I sum up multiple issues into a parent number field" useful: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/How-Can-I-Sum-Up-Multiple-Issues-into-a-Parent-Number-Field/ba-p/2882712 It also helped this other community member with a use-case that…

Hi @Cody , As far as I know, the Jira scopes are largely the same as for JSM. But the JSM scopes can be found here: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/service-desk/scopes-for-oauth-2-3LO-and-forge-apps/ Have a nice day. Rik

Hi @sravani vennapusa , If I'm not mistaken, these Space access requests are send to the Space Administrators. If you want to make sure more people receive the request, you can make them Space Administrator. That does give them the actual permission to administer the Space though 😄 If you really want to get creative, you…

Hi @Kyross Parakh , Atlassian hosts 2 community forums: this forum for users and a forum dedicated to developers. I'd recommend posting your question on the developer forum. You can find it here: https://community.developer.atlassian.com/ Reading the error from your clone command, It seems like you might not have setup a…

Haha! I know the struggle! So if you want to notify the Escalation contacts of any change, except if the previous status was 'Escalated' you can use a Condition that uses this smart value: {{#changelog.status}}{{fromString}}{{/}} So you add a condition 'Smart value condition' Add this smart value in there, use 'does not…
-
Hi @Michelle Kirk , It sounds like you would benefit from using Automation to keep these statuses in sync. Create a new Automation Rule (in Jira) with a setup somewhat like this: * Trigger: Object Updated * Condition - IF/ELSE Block With AQL condition like: State = "In use" * Action: Edit Object Attributes There, choose…

Hi @Kay Bickell , That seems like an interesting use case you're working on! I'm not a 100% clear about the requirements and your current solution. But I assume you have a field that contains the 'Stakeholder(s)' so that you can send an email to the user(s) that are stored in that field. For now I'll park your remark about…

Hi @arielei , If your rest end points do not already, include a unique Log in its script so that you will be able to identify any and all executions in the Jira logs. I always prefix my log messages with a unique code / identifier (EG: ‘SRREP0001’ for my first ScriptRunner rest end point). An alternative is to create an…

Hi @Nikki Maenen , @Marc -Devoteam- , @Raj Sehmi , I think we all agree that it would be a valuable feature to allow for Editing fields on the portal. It is already possible to make Workflow transitions available to the customer on the portal. So in my opinion it would make sense to also allow us to show fields on a…

If you want to work with Sprints, then you will need a Scrum board instead of a Kanban board. You can read here how to create a Scrum board: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-board/ And here's a guide with more tips and information about Scrum…

Hi @Ralf Mitsch , To create a new Space (formerly known as Project) you need to have the permission to do so. If you are Jira administrator you can create Spaces. You can read here how to do this: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-new-project/ Or maybe you just want to create a new Board in…

Hi @Ralf Fahney , I don’t think there’s a direct JQL solution for that. But what you could consider is to create a custom number field ‘Number of Components’ and create an Automation Rule that triggers whenever the field Components changes and counts the component and sets the custom field to the result. Once that is set…

Hi @Paul Ceronio , The Announcement Banner 'injection' still works. But the CSS selector has changed due to changes in the front end. I've now tested this on version 10.3.12 and I got it to work with this CSS: <style type="text/css"> button[data-testid="comment-external-submit-button"] { background-color: red; }…

Please also refer to this Known Problem page from Atlassian about silent failing of the reorder: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence/kb/reorder-pages-not-persistent/ Because if ANY of the underlying pages has an Edit restriction, it will appear as if the reorder is being done. But it will not be saved. And Confluence…

👍🏼 Queue is probably most commonly used. But considering that is 'just' the actual queue, it doesn't really cover the full set of tools available to the agents. But most agents predominantly use the queue functionality and that's probably why we mostly just use 'queue'.
-
👍🏼 I usually use this term as well. But being Dutch, there is not a real good direct translation for 'agent'. The work 'behandelaar' (handler) comes close; but still doesn't really hits home.

If you use the JQL I provided, it will only consider sub-tasks with the label 'test' for checking if they are done.
-
Hi @Dommalapati Chandrababu Naidu , Assuming that you mean 'sub-tasks' when you refer to 'child issues', you can use a Rule like this: Trigger: issue transitioned to Done Condition: issue type = Sub-Task Condition: Related work item condition, that looks at Sub-Tasks and uses 'All match specified JQL' and use the JQL…

Hi @Adolfo Casari I use "" in my Data Center environments to get a newline in a comment inserted via JSON. That was - so far - the only thing that worked for me.

What is the type of field for this 'Estimated End Date' field? Are you a Jira Admin and can you see the Custom Field type and settings?
-
Hi @LAL , I'm not aware of the ability to retrospectively add a Jira issue link to a commit. What you can consider is to enforce linking a Jira issue to each commit. In your Repository Settings, you can go to Links and toggle the "Require issue keys in commit messages". Have a nice day! Rik

Hi @José Manuel Martín Márquez , And welcome to the community! In your first screenshot, you see the Rule details. At the bottom there is a checkbox "Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule". Once you select that and save your rule, it will also trigger on automatic changes to the field value. Have a nice…

Hi @David Sanchez There are multiple features that can send notifications in Jira and multiple settings that will affect what the content of these notifications will be. * Jira (internal) notifications. These are the standard notifications that Jira users receive. The content of these cannot be configured, but a Jira…
