Hi @Randy Weger , thanks for the screenshot! Can you add a little more detail to your question? What would you like the Help Center open to (e.g., public, specific groups, etc.)?

Hey, @Harrison PonceWe do have some validations on our workflow, and one of them is when transitioning the issue to Resolved. The thing is, we don't want to allow the user to transition to Resolved from all statuses, and to do as you described I believe I'd need to allow it. (Correct me if I'm wrong). For example, according…

Hi @Gustavo Moraes , there's actually a few options you might have here. * Set an automation so that when a certain issue type transitions to Resolved that it automatically applies a default resolution. Maybe this is less ideal if you're really looking for some useful resolution data. * Another option is for the issue type…

Hi @Angel , great question here! I made a sample automation for you. In mine, the trigger is a manual trigger from the parent issue, but it can be any trigger you want. What I did was add a Lookup issues action that searched for all issues where the parent is equal to the issue key of the trigger issue. Then I added a…

Hi @Tom , this one was a doozy for us to set up, too. What we ended up doing was adding the following JSON to the additional fields (our values removed): { "fields": { "customfield_#####": "########-####-####-####-############" } } We used the Jira API to find the customfield id for Teams (this can also usually be found in…

Your approval step may not have excluded any user fields by default - ours did when we created it almost a year ago. You can check that setting by going to your approval configuration settings (as shown in the screenshots below). Also, if you haven't done so already, you might look into using automation to auto-set the…

Hi @Julia Lilenfeld , this is not quite available yet OOTB. There is an open suggestion for this if you'd like to vote, watch, and comment! * CONFCLOUD-72088: Convert blogs to pages There is not yet (to my knowledge and quick search) a suggestion for adding the folder feature to blogs, which I assume would help with the…

Hi @Theo Swartz , great question! The UI for editing dashboard and filter permissions is a little clunky. Usually this happens when the Add button is not pressed before saving. Can you confirm that after editing the permissions in step 1 below that you are clicking Add (step 2) before clicking Save (step 3)?

Looks like your issue is currently in the To Do status. Your first screenshot shows that the approval step is tied to the Waiting for approval status. Can you try moving it to that status? It should send an email notification at that point. One thing to note also, is that you may want to choose someone else as the manager…

Hi @Raveena Soni , we ran into this as well and it is very noisy and annoying! To my knowledge, there is no way to suppress these, like you could with Jira system/project notifications. There are many open JAC suggestions relating to this, but this one is probably most relevant to your ask, if you would like to vote,…

Would you be able to share a screenshot of the configuration for your Approval required customer notification as well as a screenshot of the issue that should have sent an email? You can blur out any information that you need to. That would help to see what it looks like at the moment.
-
Hi @Vanessa Scherstrom , can you confirm in Project Settings > Customer notifications, that the one for Approval required is created/enabled?
-
Hi @Quentin MD , just wanted to add on a bit more to @Sarp Egemen 's answer. There may be some use-cases where even the org admins won't be added by default. For example, our company has several sensitive HR and Finance projects. We can add ourselves in an emergency or they can add us if they need help, but generally they…

Hi @bduncan , just want to clarify here. You want a way in JQL that you can find tasks where: * The task is underneath an epic * The epic of that task has a linked issues relationship to a project (assuming custom issue type) Is that right?
-
Ah gotcha, then pulling those numbers from a specific table in Confluence is going to be really tricky without an add-on that is special. One thing you might consider since you're on Premium (that may even be kind of neat) is using Databases. You could have a database the has page links to each of your project pages in one…

Hi @netsamco , great question! Can I confirm that these projects are being tracked in Jira?
-
Hi @Ian Templeton , this is a really great use-case!! You can use the createdPage smart values from a Jira automation to reference created page(s). These can be used in comments, emails, etc. Check them out here and let me know if you have any questions. Hope that helps! - Harrison

Hi @Viola Volosz , this is an excellent question and a sort of crazy design choice by Atlassian. We ran into this as well. While it does not change the hierarchy of the issue (they are still -1 sub-tasks), it does no longer nest the sub-tasks underneath their parent issues. Instead it shows a relationship in the # Key…

Hey @Andy Gladstone @Sajit Nair, identifying myself here as #4. Really enjoyed this quiz sessions. Thank so much and appreciate you guys!

You got it! No problem!

Thanks @Samuel Gatica _ServiceRocket_ ! I've seen that and used it before, but of course you set the parameters and the system blindly follows so it may not always look great. Would love some native functionality that the system provides so it works nicely. Might have to resort to this tbh, but was just curious if anyone…

Hi @Ivan Monma ! Another thing to consider without a marketplace app is that if your issue type has a workflow that is not shared with other types, you can add validation to it based on role and that could work.
-
Hi @Tania Chatterjee ! I think you are talking about how the issue displays as a smart link. I don't believe those are customizable in that way. You can add the Jira issues macro to embed a list of issues (based on a filter) and then set the columns to the different fields you want. It's not in the table but that gets it…

We saw a blip as well around that time but it is back up now for us.

Support route is good to go here for sure. I will say, nothing about Atlassian Guard (formerly, Atlassian Access) was super clear to me (still is not) until I talked with some of the staff at Team '24. So it kinda makes sense now, but it's still super confusing and could have a lot of improvements to be more clear.…
