It was deprecated in favor of accountId as mentioned on this document. I'm not sure about that if the author of the library would do that but I highly doubt they can do anything about it. I would say typically the way userkeys were generated in the past was the prefix of an email address e.g. exampleuser@example.com, the…

Hi @Zhichao Wei On Cloud username/userkey doesn't work. You have to use accountId if you want to retrieve a specific user. I believe that API is just for backward compatibility and doesn't reflect the actual work. Also, based on the error, it mentions that username/key are not accepted parameters.

Hi @pratham Kapoor You can easily do this with our app, BulkOps Pro. We wrote an article here which explains this exact use case. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We also outlined a step-by-step process in our documentation.

Hi @Anshuman Ankur Typically, when you alter the configuration of any rule, the automation rule audit log shows the user who altered it, so that should be the person. In the rule audit log, you should see "Automation rule was disabled." and next to it would be the user who edited the rule.

Hi @Sherwin Soriano Using an SLA in Jira is unsupported, as that's a Jira Service Management feature. However, nothing stops you from creating a cross-collaboration project that interacts with each other. Project A is a JSM project, and Project B is a Jira project. If Project B has a work item that moves to status "In…

Hey @Mathew Lederman If you've claimed your domain and you manage the user base, as an admin by default, the profile visibility is set to that user and admin, and you can therefore see the email address. You can retrieve the user info via this API Get managed account, and get the email addresses you want. The only downside…

Hi help@asktechsupport You can check out our documentation here to learn how to export account IDS. Account IDS are a standard within Atlassian user management, as usernames have been deprecated.

Hi @Muddada Sunil Kumar - Vendor This article explains how you can achieve this even on DC, so you can use it to generate the download you need via API.
-
What language are you using to make your API call? It seems you're using cURL and getting strings rather than JSON.
-
Hi @Patrick McGuirk You are correct to use the send web request. Just generate an API token you can use to authenticate to the target tenant from the source. Then you can do whatever you want like creating the issue. Other than this, you can use Jira webhook to listen for when level 1 & 2 requests are created in tenant 1…

@Les Marsyla It seems you've added your token to this comment, please redact it by editing your comment. I believe you might be using a different authentication in Postman as compared to Python. Please verify the authentication for both there might be a space character or a newline that may cause an issue in scripts…
-
Hi @Tomasz Buczek There's this community post which explains how this is done.

Hi @Les Marsyla Please let us know what endpoint you're calling and what HTTP method you're making. An example would go a long way to explaining what you might be experiencing. However, it is most unlikely that you will get different results for the same API, except if the permissions differ or probably the user differs.…

Hi @Amish Prajapati What sort of errors are you getting that are preventing you from creating forms? Do you see those errors on the screen or can you not access the form creation screen at all?
-
Hi @Dimitar I_ Dimitrov You can add a custom domain for JSM and Jira; both URLs can be distinct for each product.

I think for you to use it the way you want, you most probably want to return showFlag then you can include it in the export function. For example import { showFlag } from '@forge/bridge'; const flag = () => { return showFlag({ id: 'success-flag', title: 'Hello World!', type: 'info', description: 'Here is a flag body…
-
Hi @TMonatisa That's the same example in the documentation minus being nested with an export function. Probably you should not include the showFlag object inside an export function.
-
Hi @Pascalle Leeuwerink This is the way to go about it, and if you require a way to do these tasks in bulk, you can use our app BulkOps Pro to make this process less cumbersome.
-
Hey @Uwe Pilz Not sure if there are settings for the Google sheet addon where it is adjustable. However, you probably want to look into SaasJet Issue history for Jira and see if it helps with your use case.
-
Hi @Francoise DUCLOS You have to be an administrator to create and manage users and groups. If you are not, then this ability won't be available.
-
Hi @Alex Kwok You should use the REST API to get those details, then you can export them into a data file.

I would like to emphasize that both of them refer to the same thing eventually which is the lastAccess time. However, the one from the admin hub seems to show only after multiple access is detected from the token as opposed to the one from the personal profile hub which shows almost immediately. I think the best way for…
-
Hi @Gary Spross Both terms indicate when an API token was used but with a key difference. 'Last accessed' provides the exact timestamp of the most recent API activity, while 'Last used' gives a relative time reference without specifying the precise moment. In short, 'Last accessed' records the actual timestamp, whereas…

Hi @Jamie Edmondson If you're interested in using the API, there's an article here that explains how. It uses a Python library to extract the data via Jira APIs. If you look further into the library's documentation and the arguments it has, it discusses that you can retrieve all fields or current fields. I would suggest…
-
Hi @Aep Saepudin There's no such API, but what is the intended purpose of using an API? If 2FA is enabled and you intend to make API calls, then using an API token is the way to go, as that would bypass the 2FA.
-
Hi @Ferry Portier Yes, the owner does receive a notification, I believe a couple of days before the expiry date. There's no way to extend the date, the option here is to recreate a new one and use that new one across. It's a more secure practice to rotate tokens regularly.

Hi @Mateusz Remer You should contact Atlassian support so they can help you determine what is going on and why the backup is not working or getting stuck.

Hi @Grace Dowling There are many solutions including apps that can allow you to export your projects into CSV. However, you can look into our app Backup Projects for Jira, which allows you to export projects at intervals into a single CSV file using JQL. Then you can decide to download such a file at your convenience. If…
