@Kh_Safal The link to apply for a partner lozenge sent me to a generic customer support page. I think the link in that article might not work.

OpenAI has formally embraced MCP but practically speaking, it is not the best client for MCP at the moment. Claude is far, far superior and more reliable.
-
MCP servers add more tool calls / functionality all the time. (Which is why MCP servers can actually drive context bloat... there are eventually too many calls available for the agent to sort through.( Good call out for this one. Seems like an oversight not to have replies.

@Akhand Pratap Singh Do you mean Dependencies? We are about to launch that in a week or so. Could probably get you early access if you want to try it out. We also have Milestones, which helps denote key dates and blockers.

Thanks for having Team Visor present, Summer! I appreciate how welcoming your community is.

They teased ROVO at Team '24. It became generally available 6 days ago. So, you can still check it out and the sessions from Team are generally available on Atlassian's YouTube. https://www.atlassian.com/software/rovo For me, Team '24 is a lot about community. Atlassian has done a tremendous job cultivating an altruistic…

Hi @Lisa Snuggs , You can export issues as a CSV, if that's helpful. Just click on "Search" in the upper right. Then click on "View All issues" at the bottom. From there, you can click "Export issues" to get a CSV. This will give you a way to get a visual in a spreadsheet view. (See screenshots below.) If you want another…

Hi @Neil Wentworth Yes, if you search for posts in here about Jira Cloud for Sheets, you'll see many instances of it not working for folks as intended. (See below.) To add context, Atlassian said it would stop supporting Jira Cloud for Sheets a couple of years ago. A lot of people complained. And so while they didn't…

Just started using Confluence. Great info here. Will try out your app as I explore Confluence more and start sharing with more folks.

Hi @fikfik Atlassian also made all their training courses free this year. A BIG announcement at Atlassian Team '24 (their conference). Check out what training is now free here: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/announcements/introducingfreeondemandlearning

Hi @Akshay Suggula , Do you have a Jira Premium or Enterprise subscription? Or are you on a Standard or free plan? @Samuel Gatica _ServiceRocket_ is 100% right that what you're wanting to achieve is do-able with Advanced Roadmaps. However, Advanced Roadmaps is not in the free or Standard plan. (Only the Timeline roadmap…

Hi @Joanna Mae Natial , One app that gets used for this use case is Jira Cloud for Sheets. It offers a one-way sync from Jira to Google Sheets. Atlassian made this app a few years ago, but announced they were going to get rid of it about 4 years ago. People got upset, so they didn't. But... they also haven't updated it in…

Hi @Григорий Дунин , I'm curious: are you using Jira Cloud for Sheets? Any more context would be helpful. -- Becky
-
Hi @Iuliia Manina , As Samuel mentioned, upgrading to Advanced Roadmaps allows you to display multiple Jira projects into one roadmap / visualization. I do have another alternative for you as well... Disclaimer: I work at Visor. But I wanted to flag to you that Visor lets you bring in multiple Jira projects into one…
-
Hi @Igor Titov Disclaimer: I work at Visor. But I wanted to flag to you that Visor lets you bring in multiple Jira projects into one roadmap (and also lets you drill-down to Subtask, which is another limitation of…

Hi @kara.gannon , Are you on a team-managed or company-managed account? I found a (somewhat) relevant post around the nuances of start / end dates here as it relates to team- vs. company-managed. Essentially, team-managed projects let you choose a start / due date that are custom to each team-managed project. BUT.... to…

I'm watching this for an answer. I wonder if it's due to the corresponding epic not being "to do"? It feels like this should work though the way you configured it.
-
Hi @Vasiliy Ganchev , Are you the child issues on the sub-task level? Timeline doesn't visualize those. You have to upgrade to Advanced Roadmaps for that. Alternatively, you can use apps in the Marketplace to make roadmaps. (Full disclosure, I work at Visor and we are one such app. Free to…
-
Hi @Jocelyn Edmondson , The responses above regarding how to accomplish this with Jira's built-in permission schemes are totally valid. Full disclosure: I work at Visor, an app in the Atlassian Marketplace, and we also solve for this problem by allowing you to sync your Jira data into a Table, Gantt, Timeline chart, or…

Hi Francisco, Did you try this app? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225780/monday-com-jira-integration-2-way-sync-migration?tab=reviews&hosting=cloud Or are you using Monday.com's integration? Thanks, Becky @ Visor
-
Hi @Iresha Ricks , Full disclosure, I work at Visor. But this scenario is exactly one of the reasons our users use our bi-directional Jira integration; you can sync your Jira data into Visor, filter/format what you want others to see, and share with…

Hi @Catriona Wright Yes, the free roadmap option Jira offers, Timeline, doesn't allow you to allow for more than 1 Sprint (or drill down to Subtask level and a couple other limitations). Advanced Roadmaps offers this, but then you'd have to upgrade your Jira plan. Full disclosure, I work at Visor, and we have a free option…

Hi Meteja, As @Valerie Knapp noted, there are plug-ins that allow you to visualize issue hierarchy. It looks like you're using Kanban/Board view; many of these apps are Gantt, Table, Timeline visualizations. So, they might not all fulfill your needs and, as Valerie noted, with plug-ins, you have to typically buy them for…
-
Hi Mayur! There seem to be a handful of plug-ins in the Marketplace that do this. But they don't have any or very few reviews. So, I can't speak to the efficacy of these solutions: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=jira&query=mindmap -- Becky

Got it! I thought it being in my name made it clear. Will be more forward about that!

Hi, This topic was addressed in this thread last year. As far as I know, the responses still hold true. Beyond allowing anonymous access to your Jira projects, this isn't achievable. There are add-ons though, that allow for this. One such add-on is Smart Jira…

Hi Lloyd, Visor allows you to import Jira project(s), add filter/color coding, and then share with whomever you'd like. The data stays in sync with Jira and allows you to control who sees what. Great for providing external stakeholders visibility into your Jira project data.…
-
Hi Parteek, Yes, it feels like a permissions issue. Ask your admin for the correct access. If you need a quick workaround, you can use a spreadsheet that's designed for Jira + that has Excel…
-
Hi Jenny, Excel doesn't deal with nested data that you export from Jira in a particularly sophisticated way. As other people noted, there are Jira-specific solutions for getting your Jira data in a nested Table View format. Visor is one such app (and it's free upto 250…

I could see why this would be worrisome. If enough people reach out to Atlassian about this, they may reconsider. They, for instance, were going to deprecate Google Sheets but then didn't after enough people spoke up. In the event that they don't change their mind on this, I wonder if you've considered using a spreadsheet…
