@Tim Eddelbüttel thanks for the feedback! This is only the first round of improvements. The space labels (a.k.a. categories) and even page labels are also in our radar and being considered for future releases.

Hi @Terry Child Thanks for describing how your user management is setup. When JSM is being used, the JCMA "Review all email domains" page will list only the email domains of licensed JSM users (agents and admins), not "help seekers". So, you should be able to see less domains in JSM. We do not expect JSM customers to…

Hi @Tim Eddelbüttel Thanks for your comment. I agree that changing the status of hundreds of domains manually is not a great experience. An option to select all domains as trusted already exists. While the bulk option is not available on the UI, we are asking customers with high number of domains to contact our support…

Hi @JG Meillaud _ Thanks for the feedback! We are evaluating options to make the domain assessment faster, including bulk operations options. If you are confident that all the user email domains can be trusted, but the total number of items makes it impossible to do the assessment manually, you can contact our support team…

@Son wow, 1TB in 3 weeks? I agree with Nic on the steps to check what is happening. But please let us know what you find. I'm curious to understand what exactly is taking all the space. Renan Battaglin Confluence Product Manager

Hi Alex, you may also want to check if the problem has anything to do with the size limits the instance administrator may have configured for attachment uploads. Also, if this is a Server instance, the admin would be able to see what other messages are logged in the log file when you try to upload the PDF. Cheers, Renan

Hi Tim, If the Bamboo Backup feature can't be used, the best way to save the data is to backup the <Home-Directory> and a full DB Dump. The construction of the new folder structure for the the artifacts can be tricky. We recommend using the traditional upgrade method in order to get the new Artifact folder structure built.…

Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable it at the "objectives" field as the wiki-markup was not implemented in the same way as in JIRA. Instead of XML, the settings are all hard-coded in the Java code. I've updated the Improvement Request so it can contain all the places that need to be covered (commit messages and…

When you say "default" you mean the option under: Admin >> Defaults >> Commit Messages? This option is used only if the repository didn't have its configuration customized under: Repositories >> click on the repository >> Commit Messages Is this the case? The repo still has its "Use the system default settings for commit…

Hi VegasMick, Because of the way that the wiki markup in FeCru was implemented, it is not possible to disable only part of it (emoticons). The only way to disable the emoticons would be to disable wiki markup for the repository (Admin console >> Repositories >> click on the repository >> Commit Messages >> select "Plain…

Hi Scott, The URLs can be fixed via the UI. Please, see the screen shot in the following page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Integrating+Bamboo+with+FishEye Basically, Bamboo does not store the links to Fisheye in the DB. It always use the information from the page above to build the URLs when a page is…

Hi David, I've run run tests locally and was able to obtain a new Server ID. You just need to trigger a new Bamboo installation so that it can generated a new ID: 1. Shutdown Bamboo and change the Bamboo instance Home-Directory path to a different location (at file webapp/WEB-INF/classes/bamboo-init.properties). Example:…

Hi, Please, try using the following: .*/folder/.* Cheers, Renan

Hi Babak, Currently Bamboo supports proxyHosts and proxyPort. I've created the following Improvement Request so that nonProxyHosts can also be supported: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-12041 Regards, Renan

Hi, I can see that Bamboo can see a JAVA JDK 1.5 (version not supported) as being the one available: Starting Bamboo using Java 1.5.0 from Free Software Foundation, Inc. Please, make sure that version 1.6 or 1.7 are the ones available to in the JAVA_HOME variable. You can see more details about the supported versions in…

Hi Biswajit, Would you confirm if the Java JDK being pointed by the local JAVA_HOME environment variable is a Sun/Oracle JDK? You can check the current Java vendor running "java -version" on the console. Bamboo currently supports Oracle JDK and OpenJDK. Please, make sure that the JAVA_HOME variable is pointing to one of…

Hi, Indeed, to edit the bamboo-init.properties file is the only necessary step before running Bamboo. The 404 HTTP error can mean that a resource needed by the server may not be available, causing the server to be unavailable. Would you attach your bamboo-init.properties file here as well as the server log file so we can…

Hi Dmitry, Can you confirm what is the consequence in Confluence of having the wrong mimetype? Are you having to download the patch rather than view it in the browser? Cheers, Renan

Hi David, The JIRA integration for User Management should not be impacted by the AppLinks. The User Management integration settings are stored at files: * /BAMBOO_HOME_DIR/xml-data/configuration/atlassian-user.xml * /BAMBOO_HOME_DIR/xml-data/configuration/crowd.properties Please open the files and check if they are…
