As said, it is more or less a standard of Text Editor, so if Trello did it differently, people would complain of not following the "standard"... So imagine that is why they did it that way... When Word changed to this 10+ years ago, I also hated it at first, but soon it felt second nature to press Shift + enter when single…

This is more or less the standard of text editors (Enter = New Paragraph). The trick is to press SHIFT+Enter... That gives you a line break instead (It is the same in the editor of this Forum, Microsoft Word, etc...)

The Formatting format for Trello is what is called MD (MarkDown)... It is similar to HTML, but easier to understand for most people Read about MD here: https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/ Some markdown features (like tables are not supported), and it is only the Description field, Checklist items and Comments that…

Honestly I would keep PowerUps and Automations out of the mix for now (every business is unique so customizations that are crucial to one business is pointless to another)... Instead stay with the basic setup and let your team work knowing that this is a startup phase and they should report any painpoints and cumbersome…

Best guess it will be in Closed Boards

Hmm, then that unfortunately indicates that the original text might never have been store (added to the description field, but the Save button was never pressed) 😢
-
You can see it on the top right (people with the small "stripes" symbol are admins)

Out of interest, would you have been more comfortable using TrelloTools had it limked to the source-code or would it have been the same to you (guess it would be the latter, since it is all about trust and certification, open-source, etc is essentially just level of security-remedies that in worst case can be fake trust if…
-
OK, fair (and interesting to know given I'm the developer of TrelloTools and are interested in user-caution preventing the tools usage) There are powerup out there that can also do it and the go through a certification so guess they are a bit more safe, but do not know if they are…

Guess you try and add a new card 🤷

A "collaborator" is an umbrella term for the various types of users... So a collaborator is someone with a username/password * A 'paid' workspace user is one type of collaborator that can see/join all boards (You pay for these) * A 'Multi-board guest' (aka guest of more than one board) is another collaborator type... These…

Hi @Sarah Flamant ... I believe this report should now be able to satisfy your request: https://trellotools.azurewebsites.net/Reports If that is not the case then let me know what's missing.

This will not work on a free edition (previous answer was correct untill May 2024, but not anymore) On a free Workspace you can max have 10 people now, so best option would be to have a paid standard plan for a single user (you), and have the 39 others be single board guests on the board If you need multiple boards then…

Create button have moved to personal menu

If you Webhook receiver is written in .Net then the TrelloDotNet nuget package can make the events easier to manage and filter: https://github.com/rwjdk/TrelloDotNet/wiki/Automation-Engine-vs-WebHook-Data-Receiver-Comparison

Unless Trello have something behind the scenes (very much doubt it) that is unfortunately not possible (as Their API can do this)... The API can create comments, but the dates and people of this comments would be wrong as they are added by the user running the import code and time-stamped at the time the import was done...

I guessed as much... That exact feature is planned for development, but not quite ready yet 😕... But will give an update here once it is ready (hopefully late next week if all goes as planned), should it still be relevant then.

This free tool can give this info (on a card by card basis): https://trellotools.azurewebsites.net/CardHistory. (It is yet the gain the ability to do so on a member by member basis)

A productive board is a thing that are so varied from person to person, so there is no single right answer here at what one find essential is worthless to another. 1. IMHO the best way to find what brings you productivity is to create a test-board and there browse the gallery of PowerUps to see what benefit your way of…
