Hi Jeff, Your question and description don't seem to be asking the same thing. Can you elaborate? Could you also let us know if you're cloud or server? Thanks
-
Hi, Did you look at the conditions in your workflow step. I'm not sure if you're cloud or server, so you might need an add-on. But it is possible to add a condition that is "Except reporter" that would not allow the reporter to transition ("Accept") an issue. Susan

@Dean B , It's the same actually on cloud. Go to the Edit Templates. You can change the footing there.
-
Hi Tim, WE added a button on the top bar using Scriptrunner - Script Fragments. It looks like this: Configured in Script Fragments:

Hi Dean, Are you cloud or server? ANd if Server what version? Thanks...Susan
-
Hi, This feature to add the request participants on the create issue screen is a highly voted request but is not available: Vote for : JSDSERVER-1511 However, we got around this problem by acquiring the App: Extension-for-jira-service-desk. It will allow you to put a "share with" field on the create screens (portal and…

And Atlassian linked them super quick!!

Hi Matt, JQL should be "Organizations" = EMPTY Try that Susan
-
@Jack Brickey , found one suggestion for Server: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-5289
-
Hi Jeremy, Oh shame, it's not on the cloud version! Works beautifully on the server version. Hopefully Deviniti has plans to add that to the cloud version some day. That will be a real show stopper for us migrating to cloud. Cheers Susan
-
Wow Jack, I've spent the last two years wondering why Organizations is EMPTY didn't work. But Organizations = EMPTY does! That is not proper JQL but it works.
-
Hi Jeremy, Did you look under "visibility" in the project admin section? Susan
-
Hi Dean, Go to Settings - Customer notifications - Edit Templates. That allows you to modify the footers. Hope that helps Susan
-
Hi Claudia, That should all be achievable. Customers can be added to 1 or more service desks. That will determine if they can see that service desk or not. Are your colleagues agents? Even if they are as long as you don't add them as agents, users or customers, they should be shut out from your service desk. Hope that…

Hi Anik, THanks for the fuller explanation. So what you can do is in the workflow transition screen add the due date to the screen (as well as assignee). Then in the Validators section add in a validator for "Fields Required" and select the due date. Hope that helps Susan
-
Hi Anik THat's not possible via the customer portal. The only thing I can think of is if you have your agents raise issues in Jira vs customer portal where you can ensure due date is not required on Jira but is on the portal. Hope that helps Susan

Seems like everything is right. I'm stumped. Escalating to other Community experts.

So looking at your screenshot. I see that "juan" is an approver. But how did he end up in that field? Was he added as the approver in the creation of the issue?
-
WHen you look at an issue where the approvers are not receiving an email, what is the value in the field "approvers"?
-
Hi, So the screen was a bit cut off for the second approval required notification. I assume that in the "To" box its "Approvers". Especially if you're saying that Agents get approval notifications. And your non-agents are listed in the "Customers" (Side tab)? So then we might need to dig into how the workflow is set up for…
-
Hi, Could you also paste a screenshot of your approval customer notification set up? Thanks
-
Hi Did you try using an agent as an approver to make sure that works? Susan
-
Hi IT, Did you turn on the customer notifications for "Approval Required" in the Project Configuration? Unless that is enabled, approvers won't receive an email. Hope that helps Susan
-
Hi Todd, Your customers should be able to add attachments. BUt they should start by hitting "Add comment" and then they can drag and drop in attachments. hope that helps Susan
-
@Christopher Holcomb Can you raise a new question and give us some detail. I'm not sure that you are asking the same question as the original question. Also if you indicate cloud, a cloud expert will be happy to help you. I'm more of a server expert. THanks Susan
-
Hi Christopher, Are you on Cloud or Server? Susan
-
Hi Ismael, Jira Suite Utilities which I think is one of the most useful apps going, has a condition "Value Field (JSU)". Is easy and works perfectly. Susan
-
Hi, Try this is the property key: jira.permission.assigned.denied And leave the property value blank. Hope that helps Susan
-
Hi, Project Admins can also create queues if you don't want to give full admin rights Susan
