Hi @Ness are you intending for the labels on the child issue to be a mirror / duplicate of the issues on the epic? In which case the automation below will do the task for you: (Note that this will copy the labels to all child issues) If you want to have additional / different labels on the child issue the method involved…

It was with the Scouts, camping in a field that gently sloped down to a river with woods all around, we sent young Andy off to put the milk in the fridge. 2 hours later he cam back to tell us he couldn't find it.

Hi @Lois Goodsell welcome to the group, it's good to see you've already got some suggestions to help you out
-
Thanks @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ that makes a lot of sense and doing this will also be a good way of onboarding new team members
-
@andre to answer your question and provide you with a bit more certainty that it will move only the stories/sub-tasks within the epic, I've made a slight modification to the 2 automations I suggested. This takes the form of adding a label 'Delayed' to each Story that is a child of the Epic when the Epic due date is…

I have a number of ways that I use when we have new teams set up or people join a team. The first of these is the daily stand up, when someone new joins the team we extend the length of the stand up and when each person gives their update they start off by introducing themselves and giving a little bit of background into…

Hi @Gary For your second question, the order of the cards in each swimlane is defined in the board filter. To change this you can edit the filter, and change the order to be by due date. From the 3 dots (ellipses) dropdown choose configure board: From the general settings choose Edit filter query Update the filter to…

Hi @Henrique Cunha The portal is part of the JSM project, and as such it is not possible to just have any requests raise go straight to another project. As @Fazila Ashraf suggests yo can create automation to move them to another project, although you could also consider renaming your existing project is it's only a matter…

I don't think that you can do that set up out of the box in Jira; a field is either editable or not. However there may be an app on the marketplace that will help with this, you can have a look there and see if you can find anything suitable.
-
Hi @andre , I'm going to make the following assumption with this answer: * The due date for the epic, related stories and sub-tasks is going to be the same The difference between @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ 's answer and mine is that I'm going to suggest using 2 automations and trigger them from updating the due date on…
-
@kalaimani depending on how you define and set 'Resolve Date' you could create an automation which triggers when you change status to In Progress that fills in 'Resolve Date' if it is empty. If you also follow @Walter Buggenhout's suggestion about removing the field from the edit screen, you will then not need to edit the…

@Janice when and where will we be able to see the Kudos Passport and Mega badges?
-
So many apps, not enough votes :-(
-
So many great apps and demos for Apptoberfest this year, I wish I was able to vote for more than one of them!
-
Some great entries, I would use them all at different times in my career!
-
@Diego De La Riva you can use a filter to show this: From the filters dropdown, choose the option at the bottom of the list 'View all issues' and then set the filter type to JQL using the JQL button to the right of the filter line with the filter below: assignee = currentUser() and statuscategory != Done
-
Actually just found my answer here You have to fill everything in
-
@Monique vdB for the Autobiographer kudos challenge how much information has to be filled in and what cab be left blank?
-
@Janice for quick checks etc. I find I pick up on things visually quicker, but the kudos badges shown in your graphic are different from how they appear in my kudos badge list, which is confusing me and potentially others as well
-
@Tomislav Tobijas take a look at this page: List of available challenges in the Kudos program
-
Hi @Bilal Mughal it's always good to have dragon slayers around, so welcome

Hi @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ welcome to the group

Not me, but my sister; Brisbane to Perth. Apparently, the shortest route between Brisbane and Perth is 2,679.24 mi (4,311.83 km) with a driving time of approx. 62h 21min. My longest was half that for work, so 2 of us shared the driving from London to Lisbon, and Google says the shortest route between London and Lisbon…

Actually re-reading you question, if a sub-task is created by default then it is most likely to be done by an automation unless you have a marketplace app that does it for you.
-
@Eman Khan is the sub-task created by automation? If so you can add a branch to that automation for most recently created issue.
-
Hi @Andre de Castro JQL is a query only language, so no that can't be done natively. Your options include: * Use automation for when a condition happens e.g. a field value changes, an issue is transitioned, manually or on a set schedule * Do a filter search using your where condition then bulk update the issues * Check…

@Jimmy Seddon The main thing that helps me is to move around, if I stay still too long I can doze off easily. Change your focus regularly, staring at one thing like a computer screen or book also helps me doze off easily; get yourself a fidget toy Don't have anything you need within arms reach, make sure you have to get up…

Thanks for all the suggestions, now to find some time to look at all the apps you've suggested
-
Thanks for this light bedtime reading @Tanguy Crusson Some of our product owners (who are more accurately senior business users) have been struggling with technologies other than hand written notes so hopefully this will give them more insights into how the rest of us work!

@John Funk that reminds me of a time I met Jason Statham; his son went to the same school as my daughter and I had just picked her up and was going out through the playground gate as he was coming in, we almost walked into each other but didn't speak. One of the other dads said, "Do you know who that was?" I said "Yes, of…
