Hi @Bryan Hanks welcome back!
-
@kamal.a.nayan the possible statuses that you can transition TO depend on the workflow rather than which statuses are assigned to each column. In general you can only transition to a new status if the workflow has a connector (arrow) from the existing status to the new one OR when the destination status has a connector…

Hi @Sia (Nastassia) Sharasheuskaya It looks like you've spelled issuetype wrong in both your IF statements
-
I have just spent the last 10 minutes making my desk unreasonably messy, it will stay like that for the next 8 - 9 hours and then everything comes off it into my backpack or locker, hotdesking in the office is great!
-
@kamal.a.nayan From the information provided, a possible reason I can see is that the ticket you're trying to move is has a status of 'Backlog' which doesn't actually have an available transition to 'In Progress'
-
Hi @kamal.a.nayan Start off as @Mohamed Benziane suggested by checking whether there is a transition screen set up for the transition for 'To Do' to 'In Progress' Then check the order of the possible statuses in the column. This is because when you set up multiple statuses in the same column, especially when the workflow…

I often find that in the time it takes me to write my answer, look up any links needed, review and check what I've written then submit it, 3 other people have done the same thing

Good luck with the application @Anahit Sukiasyan I'm sure you'll do fine. There will be a community manager getting in touch with you about it, there will also be opportunities to talk with other community managers and monthly group catch ups with your community manager.

I don't drink milkshakes, but a couple of Christmas's ago I was given a bamboo straw in a pouch that now lives in my day bag and when I need a straw I use and wash that
-
I try and use different formats each time, even if they cover the same kind of questions, for example our first retro after Christmas had 4 questions: 🎁 What presents did we get? (What went well?) 🤢 What did the Grinch do to steal Christmas? (What didn't go well?) 🎅 How was naughty and who was nice? (What delayed us or…

Congratulations, and now I know who to annoy at the London ACEs for advice when I get round to doing those certifications!
-
Thanks for the interesting article @Patricia Modispacher _k15t_ , my CTO called me yesterday and said that "it's objective setting season, I'm leaving at the end of the month, you're it!"; so now I apparently own the department's objectives until we get a new CTO!

Hi @Harvindar Singh The Atlassian product suite allows you to use workflows how you want to use them, so the examples you've given are all a valid way of using Jira. You don't need to align on sprint duration/dates, in fact I run two teams that both use 2 week sprints that are offset by a week. Using Plans also you to use…
-

-
Hi @Alicia Morgan The answer that @Mike Maurer gave shows you the how to create the child tickets when the epic is moved to the specified project (you will have to change the first step to use DIS as the project name) and you may have to set the automation up as being global rather than just for DIS To do the same thing…
-
Welcome @Mathilde Waringo there's lots of advice and articles here to help with improving Jira and Confluence skills, as well as more free training on Atlassian University

@Testing Team it looks as if that is the project area for your company so you'll have to talk to you site admins to make sure that you have the right permissions to view it.
