I think the main reason for not having any Atlassian December cleaning rituals is that everything everyone else mentioned is just standard refinement activities that we do week in, week out, but I suppose we do double check to make sure that we have cover for any issues that may arise.

The closest I come to Atlassian December cleaning rituals is cancelling stand ups on Christmas Day!

Welcome to the community @Cameron Smith there is plenty of information here, and don't be afraid to ask questions, join discussions etc. and check out Atlassian University for free Atlassian training courses

Hi @Caitlin Simms welcome to the community, there are lots of questions, discussions and guidance here that could help you prepare, and good luck working towards your cert!

Hi @Fidelidade JIRA Admin Unfortunately, the flag action doesn't count as a trigger for automations so you won't be able to bring up a popup by just setting the issue to flagged. In fact, popups are treated in Jira as screens in the way that @Prachi Bolar showed, so if you want to bring up a data entry popup you'll need to…

Hi @Vasikaran If I understand correctly what you're trying to do, i.e. list out every date on which the status changed for an issue, then it's not possible using normal JQL, your best bet is to see if there is an app that will do what you want on the Atlassian Marketplace and do a search for issue history, or just history.…

Hi @Patricia Modispacher _k15t_ I think those posts where you can get Kudos badges for comments are all by Community Managers or Atlassian Team, so it's an Atlassian thing ...

Some years ago I worked for a tech company that was bought out by a defence company. After a few years they decided that they would close down the site we were at with full redundancies, but offer the staff they wanted to keep a job at another site 40 miles away. So they went through the full legally required (due to the…

Hi @SAzaruddin.mp An easy way to restrict editing is via screen schemes: To show fields but not allow them to be edited, remove those fields from the edit screen scheme. If fields are in the view screen scheme they will still display in the issue view. see Manage screen schemes for more info

@Patricia Modispacher _k15t_ thanks for the insights. I personally think that we shouldn't be doing annual performance reviews! By that I mean that performance reviews should be a continuous improvement conversation with weekly. fortnightly or (at most) monthly 1 to 1 meetings where we focus on providing support to achieve…

My mum refused to have a real tree as she didn't want to have to clear up any needles that came off it, she now has a pre-decorated tree in a box that comes out every year.

This will only show unassigned tasks @Suraj Gurav not assigned tickets as per the original question
-
Hi @Bhavini Shah The JQL query you've shown should work, but there are other options you can use: This query will also filter out any rejected tickets, and will order them by when they're due: project = "XYZ" AND assignee is "AB" AND statuscategory != Done ORDER BY duedate ASC This query will only show tickets in certain…

We have a department calendar that we encourage all team members to update with unavailable days, and about 6 weeks before the Christmas holiday period we start showing it at all stand ups and planning sessions to make sure the whole team knows who is around and when, but more importantly who's available if the CEO, CTO,…

Welcome to the group @Ted Nieblas

Hi @Dan Leatherwood , A simple way of doing this is using a filter and subscription. First ask your site admin to create a Jira group (e.g. Assignees-for-tickets-due-in-5-says) and add everyone you want to receive the email to that group Then create (and save a filter) that shows any ticket due in 5 days, using this JQL:…

Welcome to the community @Craig Wattie there are lots of tips across the community and you can always ask questions as well

Welcome @Amir Tavakoli

Thanks for the mention of Confluence automation @Hana Kučerová I'd been hoping for that and missed the post!

Kia Ora @Balthazar Lang and welcome!

Yes, you can also create a second quick filter to only show un-estimated tickets ('originalEstimate IS EMPTY') which can help show what needs to go through a refinement session
-
Hi @srikanth_rao As long as you add tickets to your sprint from a board rather than editing the sprint value on the ticket you can: Set up a quick filter on the board e.g. 'Hide un-estimated tickets' originalEstimate IS NOT EMPTY When that filter is selected you won't see any un-estimated tickets on the backlog In case you…

Hi @Annelise Du Piesanie All your statuses have 'Allow all statuses to transition to this one' set up, is there any condition / validation on the one going to Resolved that would stop the user from using that transition rather than the expected 'Resolve Issue' workflow?

I'm seeing the same thing, it looks like a recently introduced 'basically unintended goal' (bug). I tried changing the available settings but to no avail, so I've had to disable the response required setting until this is fixed.

Since 👍 means like (and in one case was taken to mean acceptance of a contract!) I prefer to use 👀 to show I've seen a message or post. I use 😎 to show I've done something I've been asked to do. And 💩 to show one of my Product Owners the quality of his requirements
