@Anushri Kanaskar I do not believe you are referring to our app Numbered Headings by Easy Apps but I can say that in order to put the numbered headings in place it is normal to run an update which shows as a new version. Your best bet is to evaluation 1-2 more apps, there are a few options on the marketplace, ever the…

@Paul Rathgeb this isn't exactly what you want to do but it might help if that automation is not possible. Bulk add a prefix of a suffix to page titles. It's a feature of our app Space Content Manager.
-
@Paul Rathgeb why do you need to remove all labels from certain pages. We have a Confluence app, Label Manager by Easy Apps (it's also a feature of Space Content Manager), so I'm curious if this is a use case we should consider building.
-
@Barbara Szczesniak yes match case is a feature in both Find and Replace by Easy Apps and Space Content Manager (where it is one of a few tools). It is unchecked by default, I checked it in this example to make it clearer.
-
If as part of your migration you think a tool to redirect Confluence pages could help take a look at the app we built called Redirection by Easy Apps.
-
We have created a Confluence app where you can restrict access by space, group, users or simply turn features on/off. If Space Content Manager can do it (built in Forge) then I bet Atlassian can as well.
-
Merci @Kristian Klima @klequilliec je suis un des fondateurs d'Easy Apps. Essayez également Space Content Manager. Il comprend le même outil Find and Replace plus d'autres outils comme label manager. Oui je parle français.
-
@Ellyn Berner unfortunately as @Kristian Klima mentioned you have to pay for an app to get more advanced features. The good new is there are a few options on the marketplace, we make one of them. They are all fairly similar feature wise, less so UI and cost wise. Always savvy to evaluate 2-3. Here is an Atlassian…

@Carmen Nadeau "If yours [requirements] are less restrictive". I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that if you are a cloud user and you are comparing a cloud only app versus one with cloud, server and data center versions then the install numbers can be unequal comparisons. I don't think a lot of users know that…

I can't say enough about the productively boost using Confluence is to share knowledge. People unfortunately like to revert to Office of Google Docs (working in silos), and then can't find what need often enough without asking someone. Keep your space update to date. This is not a 'sexy' part of leveraging Confluence, but…
-
@Carmen Nadeau lots of good points. I would add cost. An app with the most installs can have a higher price, but is it value for money? Test at least two, often lots of options in the marketplace, you would be surprised the difference. A new app can have a younger code base which can actually make it better. Use the…

@[deleted] built in Forge and supports data residency. Forge is the new cloud app development platform by Atlassian. We build all our apps in Forge. All data remains within your Confluence instance. By default Forge supports data residency. About Forge: "Secure by design With Forge, you’re in control of how and when data…

This is far from ideal but if make each of them h1-h6 you can use an app to number them. We make Numbered Heading by Easy Apps which updates the number whenever you republish a page, most other apps don't. But it still means you have to publish to see the changes while what a user wants is to see it before publishes.
-
@Lucas Pinhati Lopes this isn't exactly your scenario I think but our app Numbered Headings by Easy App automatically updates the numbering when you republish a page. I say this as it's not the case with most of the other apps. If you test it and it doesn't do what you need I would appreciate you sharing as we might be…
-
@Dave Sweetser I suspect you don't want to pay for an app but they might bring valuation functionality you didn't think of. If you have moved to data center look here. For cloud here. We make Numbered Headings by Easy App (cloud only) and I would suggest you test 2-3. I know it is an investment of time, but medium to long…

@Colin St Rose this isn't exactly what your are looking for. Confluence cloud didn't allow us to create a 301 like plugin I use in WordPress. We have found a way to make it work at the page level with Redirection by Easy Apps.
-
@Scott Cantor now that you are on cloud you might need an ongoing redirection tool. While it's not possible to have a classic 301 like app in Confluence we have found a way to make it work with Redirection by Easy Apps.
-
@Helen Griffith if you need to customize individual page redirects as well you need an app. We make Redirection by Easy Apps.
-
@Amy Martin unfortunately you need an add on. Confluence as a wiki doesn't work exactly like a 301 you would set in WordPress. With our app Redirection by Easy Apps you add a macro to the page and set it to redirect to: We are working on a bulk redirection feature, currently it is only page by page. Please share your use…
-
@Benjy Meyer how Redirection by Easy Apps works is that you can redirect a page to one of these, includes a space: This might not be your exact use case. Please do share it with me, we might be able to add such a feature: stavros@easyapps.app. Thanks @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ for mentioning our app as an option.
-
@Joao Flavio Mendonca for cloud you can bulk add title prefix and suffix (plus other things like find and replace) with Space Content Manager.
-
@Mark Stephan if you have since posting this moved to the cloud you can bulk add title prefix and suffix (plus other things like find and replace) with Space Content Manager.
-
@Eva Kielczewski I'm not sure if a numbered headings app alone would give you want you want but there are a few to try on the Atlassian Marketplace. I know it is annoying to have to use and purchase apps. But the one great things with Atlassian tools the plethora of apps so that you have more options.
-
@Heidi Pomar as @Zoriana Bogutska_Kolekti said there are different numbered headings options app on the Atlassian Marketplace which add additional features. But they are paid, so if you have a budget take a look at the numbered headings app options. We make Numbered Headings by Easy Apps. If budget is an issue some are…
-
@LaToya Muff _Snyk_ using another Atlassian tool along with Confluence makes a big difference. Jira and Confluence in cloud increasingly work together. We use Jira Product Discovery. You have likely already used whiteboards for Confluence. If team members don't have to switch to other applications, ie different logins,…
-
@Haneena Fathima if you are lucky they have built a migration tool. Here is a little secret app vendors don't like (I'm an app vendor), Atlassian said at Team23 that when companies move from server to cloud they cut 30% of the apps they use. This saves money which Atlassian likes to promote but means fewer app sales ($$$)…
-
@emaddox this doesn't do exactly what you want but could help in general. Our Space Content Manager app allows you to bulk edit, but it's after the fact: * add a title prefix and suffix * add, delete, rename labels * find and replace * change case * links * page tree to copy, delete, move (in development) I would be…
-
@Byggare BobbTest I know paying for an app is not ideal, but you can do things Atlassian is unlikely to ever add. We make Number Heading by Easy Apps. Our app updates the numbering whenever you republish a page, that might seem obvious but it's not the case with all apps. Test 2-3 apps on the options on the Atlassian…
-
@Oshadhi Vindhyani a bullet point in front of numbering and not as a numbering option is not something we considered for our app Numbered Headings by Easy Apps (built in Forge). I'm curious to know why you like this format. Intuitively is seems odds to start with a bullet, but I know you have a reason/logic and I bet you…
-
@macc_edit we make Number Heading by Easy Apps. I know paying for an app is not ideal, but you can do things Atlassian is unlikely to ever add or allow. Our app updates the numbering whenever you republish a page, that might seem obvious but it's not the case with all apps. You can try using Scriptrunner for Confluence…
