@Jack_Marquez that's an interesting use case I would like to learn more about stavros@easyapps.app. We are the makers of the app Numbered Headings by Easy Apps.
-
Find and Replace is also part Space Content Manager (label manager...). A suite of tools in one app.
-
@Claudio Alves if you have any questions do not hesitate to open a support ticket or email me stavros@easyapps.app.
-
@corinne goodman you need an app to find and replace at the space level. Take a look at Space Content Manager, one of the features is a full featured find and replace tool. Others include a label manager. We also have it as a separate app, Find and Replace by Easy Apps. You can restrict any feature by space, user or group…
-
I forgot to mention that you can also restrict access by space, user or group. Example only space admins can use find and replace or only certain groups can use label manager. All these bulk editing tools are great, but you can decide who can do what. Each organization is unique.
-
@Claudio Alves some great advice from @Kristian Klima . I am a co-founder Easy Apps, the maker of Find and Replace by Easy Apps which @Kristian Klima suggests you try. A tip if you try our app. When possible select case sensitive. Then after you make the change do the same search without selecting case sensitive. It might…

@Adithya Ramesh is this a premium only feature. I do not see it on any of my instances.
-
@Gui Ávila I know this requires an app but if you need to rename it's part of our app Label Manager by Easy Apps. Renaming and merging are space admin only features.
-
Like @Dan Tombs says well, labels are a productively boost. They also needs to be cleaned up now and then. Example someone adds a plural version 'releases' while 'release' exists already and both start to be used. But we realized we didn't want all users to be able to bulk edit labels, so bulk merging and renaming is under…

I'll add Space Content Manager. A suite of tools to bulk edit pages with granular restriction options. Built in Forge.
-
@Fabian A_ Lopez _Community Leader - Argentina_ Florida_ California_ we wanted to have a bulk editing tool for labels and restrict some features to admins only so we built an app that has admin only restrictions. I know this is years late but I do believe it is the first app to do with fact. If curious take a look at Label…

While generally URLs convert fine to Smartlinks they do not for the odd site like http://loom.com/ or http://imdb.com/. We built an app called Link Manager to bulk convert links and users complained they these two do not work.
-
@Matt Brandwe built, and then rebuild it to ensure it works with enormous spaces, bulk find and replace across a space (also has advanced page search). It's a feature of our app Space Content Manager.
-
Need an app. We found bulk find and replace across a space to be so valuable it led us to create Space Content Manager. It's also a more advanced way to find and replace on the page level as well. It took us some time to ensure it works perfectly on enormous spaces, ones that companies know should be multiple spaces but…

We wanted to bulk find and replace across a space as well as on a page so we built Space Content Manager.
-
@tfetner plus the Find and Replace only ever worked at the page level. Wasn't good enough for us so we built this Find and Replace app that works at the space level. It's also one of the features of our suite of apps called Space Content Manager.

AI is a massive breakthrough. But throwing an AI dart randomly at a board doesn't often lead to a useful nor profitable tool. This is a great article that puts AI business models into context: Excuse me, but the industries AI is disrupting are not lucrative

Actionable yet simple suggestion: Why and What in JPD then Build/Integrate in the Epic. For me JPD is messy by nature. Insights are a bit of a 'data dump'. The Why and What is drafted and re-drafted in JPD. If done well the What and the What we will clear and short. Then I would add Why and What to the Epic as they add…

Maleursement, vous devriez ou mois les écris en anglais. Il est déjà difficile de cumuler les votes.

@Jon BoothI shared your comment with my team, helpful to understand further Confluence use case. re renaming multiple pages in bulk. You can bulk find and replace page titles (and any text) with our app Find and Replace by Easy Apps (it's also one of the features in Space Content Manager).
-
I love this feature but can't use it :( The problem is the all or nothing permissions. I can’t limit by space, more importantly by user group. I do not want all my users to have access to public links. I know a lot about Confluence permissions as we built something unique for our app Space Content Manager. It is a 'super…

I have a love - hate with this feature. Love as making a page public in 2 clicks (ie anyone with URL can view page) is user friendly and needed. … but unusable. All or nothing permissions. I can’t limit by space, more importantly by user group. I know a lot about Confluence permission as we built something unique for our…

You have to opt-in (manually add) plugins/apps. Go to 'Manage apps' to uninstall third party apps. Like on your Android/iPhone some features cannot be removed. Example there are a lot of macros by default that are built by Atlassian. Then many Confluence apps you install add more macros. Yet it is hard to tell in the list…

@Linh Pham_Ricksoft_IncI hear you about "Keeping old content can confuse users and make it harder to find current information." I see how your add is useful to "help our team members, especially the space owners, save time when auditing content and updating the team’s space". We also think bulk editing across a Confluence…
-
@John Hooperan easy overview of who has access to what. Then if see something that needs to change can invest time. Right now first layer is too complicated, start easier and click to do more complex.
-
No clear overview. Convoluted. Have groups, individuals, guests, anonymous... great to have options but in cloud it's like copied server which has so much legacy code/UI rather than a fresh cloud approach see in other tools. I have thought a lot about permission design as we have done something unique for our app Easy…
-
I agree with @Amanda Barber * Keeping things orderly/tidy * Managing updates to the pages/ensuring pages are updated when changes are made during a call or other communication If the content is too out of date users conclude the space is unreliable and then start going elsewhere which kills the large productivity benefits…
-
For public documentation we (docs.easyapps.app) use the Scroll Viewport app @K15t GmbH which I highly recommend. Confluence without such an app isn't great for public users, but great internally.
-
@jagercodesorry I just read that you are on server, not cloud. If you migrate consider this option.
-
@jagercodelinks are now all automatically converted to smartlinks, the name of the page is the default. You are not the only one for which this is not ideal. I agree with @Andy Gladstone's comment that changing it to card view is a good option. Another is making them all standard URLs (i.e. showing https://) rather an…
