Appreciate these classes. Even if you're "in the know", there's always something that can be learned by attending (or, like in my case, watching the recording after the fact). TIL: You can ask the AI to perform numerical calculations. Seems like something I should've realized, but I never even thought to ask for…

Thanks @Aditya Bodke! I assume this same logic applies for being able to edit team schedules, such as performing the "Replace with" functionality?
-
Regarding Kudos, you can hover over a users name or avatar and a popup will appear where you can give them kudos.

Just a thought, but if you are just trying to unclutter your backlog view you could either set a specific label or create a field that you can set to specify when an Idea has been executed following a sprint. You can then filter out these Ideas from appearing on your view. Additionally, the Ideas wouldn't be archived, so…

@Tanguy Crusson wrote a good article explaining the JPD roles: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/The-different-types-of-users-creators-contributors-and/ba-p/2378354. If you go to the "Access" section of a JPD project and click "Manage roles", you'll see the different permissions that…

It appears to be accessible via the ellipses next to the project name in the side nav.

@Hermance NDounga, I ran into an interesting issue when using the product copy feature today. I copied from a project that has it's access set to private. I also selected an Access level of private in the create project options (as it's required). The project was then created, but I'm unable to access it. I'm listed as the…

From the admin console you can export your users. Make sure to select "app access and role". Within the csv that gets generated, in the "Jira Product Discovery - org name" column, you can filter to see which accounts are in the "User" role.

I just double checked and yes, I was mistaken. It does copy Views. I edited my previous comment. Thanks for that correction @Tanguy Crusson!
-
@Sedat Sert, I can confirm that the rule we have in place, setting the Idea archived field by field name (not by the field Id), is now running successfully.
-
It doesn't copy over any Ideas or views. It copies the workflow & fields (Note: they aren't shared configurations, so any changes made post project copy will still be isolated to the project where the changes are made).
-
I just checked and, according to the logs, it's still working as expected. How are you setting the Resolution field within your automation rule?
-
It's a feature of the Premium version, so you'd need to upgrade to have this ability. https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery/pricing
-
@Sedat Sert Our JPD projects now have the "Goals" field, so based on your last comment, I believe that means the migration is complete (Stage 2)? I assumed this would mean that our automation rule that sets the "Idea archived" field via the "Edit issues" component (see screenshot below) would work, however it still errors…

Another one: Addition of a component to determine if the in scope issue is deleted or archived (inaccessible) to avoid nuisance errors. I got a feature request created for this one, so if you agree, vote for it! https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-1903

Absolutely! The API documentation isn't exactly the clearest (imo). Glad I could help!
-
You'll see it in the URL you use to access Jira/Confluence. It's usually the name of your company. It'll be the beginning part of the URL: https://yourcompany.atlassian.net/jira
-
You can utilize the API call: https://[Instance Name].atlassian.net/rest/api/3/issue/[Work Item Id]?expand=names Specify an existing work item (Idea) within your JPD project.

An additional 2 improvements that would be massively helpful... * When a project or field is deleted, have a way to filter impacted automations* A notification to the Jira admins would be nice as well * When a field name is changed, some components auto updated, but others do not* Field name changes should update…
-
The form is a bit to rigid to indicate the improvements I would like to see made. Here are a couple improvements I would like to see within automations: * Ability to sort automation rules list on each column * Ability to filter automations by project association * Ability to scope to* Project categories * Specify issue…

In the project settings for JPD projects, there is a Notifications area. There you can adjust who is notified for the different events. In your case, it sounds like you would want to update the "An issue is edited" option.

A quick way to tell, if you're an org admin, would be to navigate to the billing tab within the admin console. There it will show you the plan you are on for each product in your instance. If you're not an org admin, then you can tell by checking if you have any of the Premium only features available to you. You can view…
-
As they are not users licensed to Jira or JSM, you would need to add them to your "jira-product-discovery-contributors-instancename" group for them to be able to be added as Contributors within a JPD project.
-
When Premium is available, an Org admin within your instance should be able to go to the Billing section, select "Manage" for JPD and then "Change Plan". I just checked within my instance and Free & Standard are still the only options. Premium doesn't appear as an option just yet.

It looks like this post was a similar question. This comment seems to be the answer.
-
@Rodolfo Romero - Adaptavist, I had asked this same question previously. You can access the list of all boards by clicking the search bar. You'll see lozenges at the bottom for Boards, Projects, Filters, Plans, & People. Why there's not a sidebar menu item for Boards is beyond me...
-
Thanks @Mohamed Benziane. I saw that in the documentation which is what made me feel the need to pose this question about it. So if that datapoint is potentially useless, then do you have any suggestions on how an admin can maintain the filters/dashboards/project boards within their instance?
-
@Marine Redon posted a good question regarding the color scheming here.
-
@Patricia Modispacher _appanvil_, awesome post! It was great meeting and hanging out with you and @Andreas Springer at Disney! Glad I made pictures here, since I missed the Community Champions group picture :, (.

Thanks Bill! Maybe if I was a better "Googler", I would've come across that Jira suggestion ticket...
