When navigating a space, there should be a breadcrumb? It appears the above the page title. However, it doesn't appear on the space's home page ("overview" page).
-
@Caroline Milburn just checking - are you using Confluence hosted on your own sever or Confluence Cloud?
-
Is this available for Cloud?
-
Yeah, they should probably break step 1 into 2 parts for clarity: * Click on the space name in the main sidebar (i.e. goto the space) * Once the space loads, click on "(Cog Icon) Space Settings" in the space sidebar * The page will open in Space Details tab (within the Overview tab) of the Space Settings * Click "Edit…

I just followed those steps in my own Cloud instance and they work. What step are you getting stuck at? And are you the space administrator for this space?

Out of the box, anonymous posts is going to be problematic. I have previously created a simple shout out feature for the server version of Confluence, but unfortunately this can't be replicated on Cloud (as User Macros aren't available). However, it would certainly be possible to build a custom app to do this in a similar…

Have you looked at the Share function? https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/share-a-page-or-blog-post-16482511.html This allows you to send an email notification linking back to a Confluence to one or more users, including a short note. This may not entirely meet your requirements and will work best if all 60 members are…

What are you trying to achieve?
-
See https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/search-724765412.html - it outlines what appears in quick search and also the content that is indexed. If you are experiencing problems with search, I would suggest raising a support ticket.
-
No problem. I'd start with Community Forums for Confluence by Adaptavist.
-
I answered this in relation to Confluence Cloud recently. This will be easier to achieve in the server version of Confluence, but still isn't something that can be done out of the box. You were heading in the right direction of looking at User Macros. Rather than ticking boxes, you might be able to use labels to pick what…

There are some apps in the marketplace that bring discussion board features to Confluence but I'm not sure if they support pre-moderation. You might want to check with those vendors to see if perhaps their solution does offer this or if it could be combined with a workflow solution.
-
There are some search related apps in the marketplace that might help.
-
Have a look at the The Page Properties and Page Properties Report macros, which lets you generate simple report tables.
-
You can get a link to specific versions (even if you only have 1 version of the file attached) from the attachments view of the page where they are attached (quickest way is via the paperclip icon) - don't get the first link, but instead click > to show all versions.
-
This is no longer supported - I suggest you check the roadmap for the Cloud new editor for further information. There is also an ongoing discussion thread where you can give feedback and also a less active, but specific thread about uploading files. Ping @Avinoam & @jchu

Assuming you are using the server edition, have a look at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/styling-confluence-with-css-166528400.html and https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-use-javascript-in-confluence-313458839.html Are you thinking of creating a "dark mode" option? That would be a great idea :-)
-
Unfortunately, I'm not aware of how to do that with this macro - Confluence can do it (using CQL), which you can try via the advance search page. E.g. try entering these into the search to see the different results: labelText:(chalk AND chalk) labelText:(chalk OR chalk) However, you can't use that query string in the…

If you are hosting your own Confluence site (rather than Confluence Cloud), then you might find creating your own User Macros to build what you need could help here. There are methods you can use to inject contextual variables into existing macros or reduce the effort of setting up defaults. If you combine this with other…

Atlassian does actually provide a pathway for developing enhancements for Cloud. Its not as hard as people think. However, I do wish they would provide people with a way to create simple user macros in Cloud (i.e. no scripts, just text and existing macros). The excerpt macros can be used for this, but there are scenarios…
-
Unfortunately I think you are going to need something custom. There is nothing else in the out of the box functionality that will do this, but I don't think changing the text colour will work as expected.
-
For this scenario to work, each client user needs a license. That's how Confluence licensing works - you can setup spaces with anonymous access for free, but if you want to restrict access for specific users to specific users then they need a user license. It doesn't matter that they might be 'external' to your company and…
-
It's also worth remembering that most macros will apply an OR rule to the labels you enter rather than AND. So in the example above, the macro will display any page tagged with the label "chalk" OR "resource". And it's not really random spaces - the macro is dumb in the sense it simply shows content from spaces you have…
-
That's odd, because when I saw your reply I tested that macro - when you first add that macro to a page and just enter one or more labels, it does pull from all spaces? But then reading your comments above, were you specifying the spaces? Or did it not display because you have more than 20 pages tagged with that label and…

@Jessica Piikkila those of us marked "Community Leader" don't actually work for Atlassian, we're just active in this community. Since you do work for Atlassian, you might want to check internally about this and particularly if you are using your own Confluence site as it could be configured differently from regular Cloud…

@JP _AC Bielefeld Leader_ see the discussion over here.
-
The default is to report on all spaces.
-
Why not use the page history and page comparison views?
-
This is the current status of creating anchor links in the new editor. At the time of writing it is marked as "coming soon" but they do offer some work arounds.
-
I believe that all you will be able to do is create a simple hyperlink to another file or the page where the file has been attached, but nothing more sophisticated than that.
